Can the VR-50HD do single camera pass through to get several shots. For example, I get set up at a conference before it starts. My contact arrives only to tell me that they would like a wide shot of the stage as well as a close up that I hadn't planned for. Is there a way that I can cut back and forth between the two shots using a single camera?
Yes, there is a way to do this on the VR-50HD. It has an AUX buss where you can assign one video source to pass through the AUX port either SDI, HDMI or Component HD. Then you physically take the AUX out using SDI, HDMI or Component and plug it into another input channel. Because the VR-50HD has scaling, cropping, horizontal and vertical position adjustments you can zoom in on the subject using the same camera source on a different video buss. This works really well.
Could you add a video tutorial on this as this would be a great aspect of the the device to highlight? I'm sure others will be wanting to see this as well.

How many video inputs can be set up at one time.. in most ur videos I only see 4.. I have a 6 input camera set up
