The VR-4HD is a complete HD studio in a compact and portable package that replaces several different pieces of complex A/ V equipment.
Designed with single-person operation in mind, the VR-4HD enables easy switching and mixing of sound and video using advanced video and audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) along with dedicated hardware controls faders, buttons and touch screen interface. What I would really like is a camera switcher that can switch cameras via midi. That way I could output a midi track along with the baking tracks for automatic video switching during live stream in studio concerts

Is this switcher suitable for chroma green setup? using 3 units of Sony PXW/z90 camera where the subject has greenish color also.

After the end of the Leviev and Aggie hear from the example, the sound of excellent audio, but the voice of the musician if I want to hear from Facebook if you run a music that will be stereo and have problems.
You will want to use customer support from your vendor to get answers to questions like this.
Have you used this while using the XLR outputs to a sound system at the same time? Does it work well?
It works wonderfully for this. We have now mostly switched over to selling/using/recommending DataVideo Switchers - which also work very well for this. I will say that "generally" we like having a separate audio board (and person) for all the work we do. For very small productions however, this built in audio mixer works well. (one man band approach)

VR 4 HD HAS VIDEO RECORDER IN IT ?
CINEMATIC FILMS no it doesn't. Sorry. But if you attach a powerful enough computer to it, you can record with it (and/or) live stream to Facebook, UA-cam, twitch, twitter, etc
for cameras do you need clean HDMI feed ?
yohannsphotography videography if you are using a DSLR, and you don't want the menus to show, then yes, a clean HDMI out is needed. easiest way to test is by plugging the camera into a HDMI monitor or TV. what you see there is what you would see as the source in the switcher.
How do I record my live stream ? What device or program do I need

Why is the PIP the section that allows switching of channels? And the background is locked?
I want to have my PIP locked from input 1 feed and then have background switchable to my other 3 hdmi inputs.
I basically have a multi cam event with 3 background cams and then want my PIP on channel 1 to remain locked on my ASL interpreter.
This is a huge let down and seems like they have this backwards compared to how people usually use PIP on other hardware.
Am I missing something here , is what I’m asking possible? I read the manual and it doesn’t seem like I can. Please answer, as I have a major event in 3 days. Thanks!!!

How does this NOT come with a headphone jack input?!
The headphone jack is next to the xlr inputs. If you mean an 1/8" mini input, its on the back 7/8 next to the rca's
I cannot get my touchscreen to work
It’s a SHAME that the VR50 does NOT have ANY soft browser transitions OR DVE transitions. Really limits the use of switching.
Can I use this to stream a live video in HD?
Kevin Ganaja absolutely you can. You'll need a computer with a video capture device to do the encoding/streaming to take the switched feed from the switcher.

The VR-4HD has a USB 3.0 output for audio and video. No need for a capture device on a computer just plug in the VR-4HD straight into your computer and no capture device required.
