It’s been memed and resurfaced a couple times over the years but it just kinda associated “Daisy Circuit Ultra” with the April Fools video

@@racingworldrecords5698 yes this would save time in 3lap easily, you can set up the ultra almost instantly but that costs time for flap since you have to enter the lap earlier than we do

Zip-Zip is the name of the bike, flap means 'fast lap', which is a subset of runs dedicated to completing only one lap (not the full 3lap race) in the fastest time possible, and ultra shortcut is a term used to define skips in the game which perfom the 'key-checkpoint skipping glitch'. Summoning Salt has a great video explaining the checkpoint system in further detail, you should check it out.
It seems that every time we think that there's nothing left to find in this game, an unexpected miracle manifests itself. And for those who believe that this isn't possible for humans to achieve, that was also said about Waluigi Stadium, DKJP, Rainbow Road, and Koopa Cape.
I’m pretty sure this could be used in a 3 lap tas because I’m guessing shroomless laps would be around 31 seconds and 31 + 31 + 16 = 1:18, It likely would be even faster but even this destroys the current 3 lap bkt.

Hmm, could this maybe be done similarly to how the new strat on rainbow road is done? Outside drifting bike, hitting the ledge and bouncing over the fence? Or does it not work with the collision of the ledge?
The vertical distance you have to travel is much too high. On rainbow road you're going from a high point to a low point, so the only thing that really matters is horizontal distance. On daisy circuit you have to clear a tall wall, with an even taller invisible wall stacked on top of it.
