I use ryobi tools every day and love them! It all started because they were the first to commit to not changing their platform and always use the one+ battery system. Great video!
Totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Jason is like a kid in a candy store showing all his batteries and tools! Love it!
😂 Indeed!
This video was really helpful, my husband is a mechanic and I’m trying to convince him he can have his tools.. this was perfect ❤️👌🏾👌🏾
I normally buy high dollar tools but I’m getting ready to retire and I wanted some battery operated tools. I chose Ryobi due to the interchangeable batteries. I built out a camper in my truck and have been very pleased.
Tools to add to your collection: jig saw; blower (like a mini leaf blower) random orbital sander; belt sander to name a few. My blower is awesome. I blow debris out of my truck and the bed of the truck. It would probably work on top of your slides and inside cargo bays. It’s truly a sweet little blower. (Great for sawdust when using various saws). If you use a rug outside your camper it would blow that off at the end of your stay.
So many great ideas!!! I’m a weird 59 y/o female because tools are very exciting to me. So many new things to buy!!! Yay!!!
Love that!
Super organized and well prepared! Very impressive - I like 👍
Thank you very much!
I do not know how many "experts" rudely correct you two, or maybe I should say enlighten you both on here but I love that you are Authentic. Its great seeing youth gain wisdom through experience.
Thank you for the compliment! Everyone has opinions and ideas and sometimes we do get some good tips! We can all benefit from each other 😊
I love my Ryobi 18v tools! The 1/4 inch impact driver is my most used tool in my garage! I absolutely love that thing!
They are amazing and the battery compatibility is the best feature! Thanks for being part of the gang!!
thanks for thanking me for watching this video. That is sum tool collection
You bet! 😊
Thanks. Always interesting to see the tools people bring along how how they organize their "on road" tools. Love your outtakes at the end!
Glad you enjoyed it
We bought our 350 back in October. Will hopefully get the 5th wheel this year. Yesterday I bought the power washer. Loved it. Just the right pressure for vehicles. Takes for sharing.
Great to hear! Glad you liked it! Best of luck on your new purchase!
Thanks guys, now I have solutions for the future!
Glad we could help!
Great video once again. We (I Dave) use Ryobi products specifically as well. Safe travels folks.
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing and safe travels to you!
Great idea for organizing all the power tools. Learn from our mistake. If your in a colder area, make sure to keep your batteries inside the rv where it’s warm. The batteries do not like freezing temps.
Great tip! Thank you!
I just thought I would say my family enjoyed this video. Thanks... Keep up the good work.
Awesome! Thank you!
We have property in Montana that has water but no power, and we leave our Solitude there over the summer. We borrowed a Ryobi cordless fan from our brother last summer to keep us cool at night, and we were hooked on the Ryobi cordless system. We asked Santa for a kit with several Ryobi tools and a couple of batteries, and we’re looking forward to starting our collection. As another commenter mentioned, the fact that they are Seahawks action green is an added benefit! I love your pegboard storage system - everything is so neat and organized.
Hope you get all you wish for! GO HAWKS!!!!
EXCELLENT presentation. I carry a fair amount of tools myself. Nothing wrong with Ryobi , but I went Milwaukee (same owners). I learned the hard way that the battery was the key to building a system. I had two batteries go dead for my old low quality drill. Costs more to buy the batteries than a drill with a battery. I call it the "Gillette" syndrome. Give away the handles, make it up on the blades. Same can be said about tool batteries. Ryobi makes a great fan with a water spray mister . They really work well and cool y'all down on a hot afternoon. And yes; I know what the wrench was used for...
Great comments! Thank you for watching!
Be honest, you went with the Ryobi, at least in part, because they look like they are Seahawks' Action Green color. ;)
😂 GO HAWKS!!!!
Also a big Ryobi fan. I use 3D printed mounts like that to hold most of my tools, circular saw, recip saw and impact wrench included. Speaking of, the 3 speed, 1/2" impact wrench is always handy to have in the truck.
Nice!! 😊
I really enjoy watching your videos I look forward for them to come out every week
Glad to hear it! Thanks so much for being part of the gang!
The automatic caulk gun was why I went to Ryobi. At the time ai was looking for one, Ryobi was the only company producing one.
Great video guys, Love your tool collection. Ryobi has so many , great content. Love you guys, Take care and God Bless
Thanks 👍
Another great video guys. Jason, I’m also an extreme Ryobi junky, here at home and in our Newmar. We additionally carry a Ryobi hybrid fan, good for a breeze under the awning or when we’re using our Clam and a Ryobi 18v leaf blower. It’s great for blowing off the patio mat, concrete pad, or slide toppers after camping under trees. More excuses for additional green tools. Becky and I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
🤣 that’s one thing I was expecting to see, the leaf blower 👍🏼😂. You just gave em xmas gift ideas to themselves 😆. 🍻
Oh boy! 😂 More toys! Thanks for the comments!
Must say well equipped & organized (better than our garage).... if we ever need any work done hope you're near by...lol...👍🏻
Deal! 😂
Great video guys keep up the good work , you can’t go wrong with craftsman tools 👍👍
We agree!
Hey guys, nice collection. That impact driver is great for breaking loose a stubborn screw without stripping the head. Take care
Yes! Great point!
Oh man, I laughed out loud again remembering Jason making fun of ‘Bradley nail gun’. “Most people call it a brad nail gun, but we’re so fancy, it’s a Bradley nail gun in this house”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 I shall never live that down!
I love pegboard. Use it in my shed and also my basement workshop. Keeps things nice and neat. And it's great if you're OCD like i am lol. Safe travels
Love being organized! Thanks for watching!
Great video as usual. If you are ever in Yuma, AZ I know a guy who will wash, and hand wax your rig for $5 a foot. He also does the windows and puts a nice shine on the tires. We had ours done last month while we were there. Peg board works great and looks good also. Thanks for the ideas. Gordon & Alice
Thanks guys!
I wish I could give you several thumbs up !!! Nice job Jason
Thanks so much!!
Hi guys!! Awesome job on those tools! I had no idea that some of those were offered in a battery-operated style. Who knew, but as always, thanks to your insightful and informational videos I too can benefit from these options!! You guys are the absolute best!! Stay healthy and safe travels!
Thanks Andy!!
Are two most used Ryobi tools are not even in your lineup. We like the Bluetooth speaker, not because it has the speaker but because it has the ability to charge our cell phones while Boondocking. Our second most used tool is the Ryobi fan. This is great if you ever lose power and you want some air circulation in your RV until you can get your AC back on!
Great to hear! I see more purchases in our future! 😂
I have the same stupidly large wrench.
I can't remember why I got it,
but love having it and I am always finding new uses.
And it's always a good conversation piece! 😂
That’s what you call a large arsenal of Ryobi tools, especially for a full timer. Some I didn’t know Ryobi made, others that are too bulky for my 22’ Cougar. One item I’m surprised not to see is their tire inflator. Not fast, but digitally set the pressure setting and walk away.
Good to know - thanks for sharing!
What a great list of ideals ,half expected to see a grease gun in the lineup.Keep the sunny side up or at least warm.🇳🇿👍👍
Thank you for watching!
Love it. You know if I didn’t have a lot of this stuff individually, I think what you got going is the way to go. Same type of battery running them all, no worries, one way or other a battery will get a workout. Awesome idea!
And the peg board, also a great idea, only someone already made a comment about it does expose all your tools (thief view). That’s why I wouldn’t be able to do your idea as I’m a bit paranoid about that myself. I got drawer bins all along in that same compartment, for small tool stuff. They make bigger drawers now.....just a thought. Cheers 🍻 ❤️
Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching!
Love Ryobi tools - like you, not a contractor but I will tell you I've built and remodeled a lot of things with them....I got started the same way and wanted to keep the battery system. Couple of suggestions...your saws will work a LOT better with 6 or 9 amp batteries. Well worth the investment. Watch home Depot - usually have great deals during Ryobi days every spring. That's when i get most of mine. Have you consider adding a blower? I have one of the 18v blowers and it's great for light work, but for the RV I'm thinking of getting the bench/shop blower...much smaller but still males cleaning up easier, blowing out dust etc. How does the 1/4 inch impact driver do on lugs ? I use mine ALL the time but I'm considering the 1/2 impact wrench for heavier work, like lugs and bigger fasteners. I have a 12v corded one I've carried in my truck for years...but ya know...cordless, it's like a siren song....
Great video - thanks for doing these!
Great suggestions and comments! Thanks for sharing! Gotta love Ryobi!
I have the identical tool box for a numbers of years. Although you may think it's water tight it does sweat quite a bit inside. I keep my tools and golf bag in mine and have 3 damp traps available at the dollar store to trap moisture. I keep my golf clubs in a travel bag to protect my golf bag from getting ruined. I refill my damp traps with calcium chloride about twice a year. It is more economical to buy the larger bags from my hardware store. I hope this can help.
Thanks for the info!
Did you do a video on the renovation for the tool storage area?
Great video , and awesome set up
Glad you enjoyed it!
Check out the standing misting system. The batteries fit it. Great for summer.
That has been mentioned a couple times, may have to check it out!
Ryobi also has a hand held air compressor. It is great for filling bicycle tires, small trailer tires, lawn mower, ATV tires. Small enough to be carried on trips out exploring where you wouldn’t be able to take larger compressors. I have used it to fill car tires but takes awhile longer that a compressor you would hook up to your vehicle battery. I think it only cost 20 to 30 dollars and was well worth the price.
Thanks for the info!
Nice, for a starter.
Thanks, everything is always a work in progress!
there is a company by the name of Bolt, you can get a cylinder for the pickup bed box that uses your pickup ignition key so that you don't have to keep track of so many keys
Ryobi (rēōbē) 18 volt batteries work with the older "blue" Ryobi tools.
Big adjustable you purchased when working on your brake caliper that failed on one of your axles, you needed it to get the axle bearing cover nut off!
Wow! Great memory! Thanks for watching!
10" chain saw is great for small jobs but you need to cover the oiler port because, as with all chainsaws, it leaks.
Thanks for the tip!
Ryobi fan, too.
Don't get Harbor Freight pins for your pinner, use Home Depot or anyone else. I LOVE my Ryobi pinner. You will eventually need a chain sharpener, and everybody uses the Stihl 2 N 1. I don't carry a chainsaw, but a reciprocating saw. I chose the jigsaw over the circular saw.
What's the verdict on the Ryobi grease gun?
It's hard to pick up a drill and not want to squeeze the trigger. With your MORryde suspension, none of those tools should ever fall. I didn't see you put your Viair compressor in that tool box? I'm the same way, if it's not bolted down it must be locked. Great video guys, loved the bloopers. Steve
Thanks so much!
I tried to clean our pellet grill with the Hand held vac, but It was always a pain to do because of the way it is configured. Changed to a Bucket vac that attached to a 5 Gallon bucket. Works great to get in all of the nooks and crannies and will work as a wet vac as well.
Great tip! Thank you!
@@GetawayCouple and even better, less than $20
Nice setup!! I believe that wrench is used when changing out the Anode Rod on the water heater. 😉
Nop! For the wheel hubs. They have a video on it. And that wrench won’t fit in the hot water tank area. Cheers 🍻
@@SpykersB Ahh, joke 😂
@@ramblingamblin4649 🤣 👍🏼
😂 That was funny - thanks guys!
Hi Jason & Rae, Is that your outside kitchen you used to store the power tool's Wow that was a great idea. Thank you for the video. Merry Christmass and Happy New Years!!
awesome video, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you liked it!
Enjoyed watching this and sent it to the wife so she has an idea or two as to what we need. Now I have the very basic drill and impact, but with a motorhome, I don't have the bay wall to store all these fine tools. But I didn't see your leaf blower for cleaning the toppers, or a air fan for power out cooling if needed and of course a radio for tunes to do all the work with in a fun manner .... Has Ryobi responded to sponsor you? We enjoy your travels! from SoCA.
Still have a "wish list" 🤣 No sponsor requests yet - thanks for watching guys!
I did forget to mention that the peg board is brilliant
Thanks Robert!
The disc brake video I do believe. That is when I first began watching.
You are correct! Thanks for watching and hanging out with us!
Wait, you dont have the leaf blower?!?!?!?!? great video, thx. Have fun with that Bradley:-)
Not yet!
The amazon link shows out, just go to your local Home Depot and you can get most of the items if they don't carry them then you can go Home Depot online. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Are you charging the Ryobi batteries with the standard AC charger? I assume off your inverter when boondocking?
Hi from Oklahoma
Hello there! 😊 Thanks for joining us!
Good Stuff, You can get Brushless . Buyer beware. They`ve worked for me for along time.
Nice!
By your age if you don't know what a circular saw is you need to turn in your man card. :)
He may not be Tool-time, but he is 💯 Tech-time. 😁
😂 It's one of the "moments" that always seem to happen when recording. It's like someone on a game show who knows the answer but can't get the words out 😂
I know just messing with you. I do the same thing all the time.
You said you have a Tono cover, can you get into the toolbox with it on?
You need to join and share this video on the Facebook group Ryobi Nation Nerds. Instead of a peg board get a slat wall system, the hooks are much sturdier.
Will have to look into that! And, thanks for the tip!
Great way to organize! How well do the tools stay on the pegboard during travel days? I would keep the chainsaw in the truck so that it is with me while traveling without the trailer.
So far so good...from Indiana to California!
I would recommend to get your camper polished and get a ceramic coat put on it
Thanks for the tip!
What is the model number of your tool box from TSC ? I can’t seem to find it on there web site , thanks, Joe B
This is the truck toolbox we got from Tractor Supply: www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/tractor-supply-56-in-chest-box-matte-black
But you can get it cheaper on Amazon in silver: amzn.to/39YMI2D
@@GetawayCouple thank you . Were going to get one for our truck, merry Christmas !!🌲🌲🌲
You got that wrench when you were repairing your this brakes and you had to takeoff your rotors
Disk brakes
Nailed it!
use veggie oil in that saw no need for petroleum based and can carry in your cab with no stink
Thanks for that tip!
I would be careful opening that tool compartment with anyone around. Gold mine to steal. Maybe a way to put a sliding false wall so when you open hatch, you need to slide a false wall to expose only 1/2 of what’s in there?
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
You don’t need it until you need it
Spot on!
Do ceramic coatings it's better
Good to know - thanks!
Everybody knows where your tools are
But nobody knows where we are! 😉
If you say so
You got paid off by Ryobi - no one has that many tools from the same manufacturer and barely sounds like they know what they’re talking about!
I wish! And we’re a work in progress, despite naysayers 😜
@@GetawayCouple No disrespect - just seems like an excessive amount of tools for full time RVers on a tight budget.
@@chillinit8544 Who has a tight budget?
I would say its more common to have lots of tools from the same manufacturers then not. Ryobi is a reliable line on any budget. Fun to watch @ Getaway Couple
