You need to get Sparrow for the Idol to appear, and I believe killing the shopkeepers and taking all of their stuff is fat more proficient in a score run then stealing to get Sparrow.
@@Sorapie you can steal an item without harm causing the “thief” text to appear which spawns sparrow. You can kill them after that you don’t need forgiveness
It’s easier to jet pack boost and throw ropes at the same time, he changed it to trigger so he didn’t have to press two buttons on the face of the controller at once
If you go to the city of gold you cannot save the Ankh for later as you need to die on an altar, and I think that route is in general more risky than the Tide pool

It gives extra vision, just like specs and I think it stacks with the specs.

You don't need to use the ankh in the city of gold if you're just going to do Quilln skip anyway, though yeah the temple is more dangerous.
You also don't get the clone gun in the temple route, so you don't have highly needed resources for the cosmic ocean

Thats an extremely low chance and requires olmec to stop twice between each set of aliens, not to mention golden parachute wouldn't drop much
