installing latch & strike plate

Just a video of mortising the latch & strike plate on a door that had been cut down on the edges to make it fit in frame. Unfortunately as you will see at the end, this threw the backset off by 3/8" and scar plates had to be used to cover the gap. These were also 1 3/8 doors so those always require you to be a bit more careful on your vertical chiseling as the edge of the door can easily crack. Sharp chisel & careful slow tapping is paramount on these doors.
Also, there are about 5300 ways to mortise, everyone is gonna have their way, this is just mine :)
