    Beautiful pastel looks! One way to get the most pigment from a pastel color is to use a white eyeshadow base. The ABH or P Luoise sells a white base. I'll be picking up this palette but I'll most likely use it as a companion palette to the ND Circo Loco or Glam. But I almost always use multiple palettes when creating eyeshadow looks! Really enjoyed your video and the makeup your mind vids!

      I agree! To get the most out of these fun cotton candy 🍭 pastels is to use a white eyeshadow primer. I love, like you, ABH’s and also Urban Decay’s Eden. I rarely ever use eyeshadow without one of them. That way I get the best true pigmented color. However I do agree with Christina in that the palette is meant for lovely airy fairy 🧚🏻‍♀️ and ethereal looks. Which I’m totally into for spring and summer! Lol! 🌸🍬🍡🌼

    You have got to use natural bristle brushes with Natasha’s palettes! Trust me it makes all the difference in how her formula lays down… also her creamy mattes are really ment to be placed down for intensity and then blend out just the edges… I think the main reason why people don’t like her palettes is because they use the “standard” blend out a transition color then automatically try to blend a new color in top….

    I think you demonstrated the problem with these palettes perfectly… they are GORGEOUS to look at but for every day they aren’t user friendly or pragmatic. How often are you going to run around in a pastel lime eye look ?? I LOVE me some bold color too but not in pastel form. The best pastel palette I ever worked with was Pastel Goth by KatVonD and after seeing reviews on this I think she still reigns supreme. This palette doesn’t pack a punch for me. But that’s ok I own almost all of her palettes I’m glad there’s finally one I don’t want lol… saves me a few bucks. Lovely review I appreciate your realism 💕. Good luck with Sephora Squad so exciting!!

    The palette doesn’t seem cohesive in that colours are missing to create looks. I would have preferred if starlet (which looks red/pink) was a cornflower blue shimmer to go with the blue mattes or a peach shimmer to go with the peach matte. I can’t believe we have a pastel palette but do not have one of the most useful and work appropriate pastel shimmers in peach. I do not want depth in a pastel palette but I do want colours to have a corresponding match like Indi brands like Give Me Glow pastel dreams etc.

    I'm passing on this palette . It isn't anything that I would wear very often ... And I have a lot of shades in other palettes that are similar enough that I don't feel like I need it . ( And I'm a ND fan )

    • @lisaraeroman3736

      Same. I just can’t justify a companion palette with a multitude of colors I won’t use very often even if it is from one of my favorite brands. It’s beautiful to look at though. Maybe if she releases a pastel mini….

    I bet a wet brush makes a big difference on some of the lightest shades…
    I’ll probably never use more than 2 colors at a time, and likely just 1 shade for pop on the bottom lashline or inner corner for spring and summer.

    Thank you for your review. It's a nice change to have some beautiful pastel shades to use. The time is overdue to change our eye looks. These shadows look beautiful without trying to build up the pale pastels to deeper shades. I think that defeats the purpose of purchasing a pastel palette. One or two pale pastel shades on fair skin looks so enchanting and a new way of looking stylish. The ABH white eye primer will show these colours beautifully; however this primer will pill if not used sparingly.

    • @ChristinaBrooke
      @ChristinaBrooke  2 роки тому

      Yes it does, but it all depends on eye shapes... My eyes go down at the ends, when I create looks I like to lift the eye with a deeper shade.. its my go to look, unfortunately I can't do that with this palette, but as a mixer palette I could!! yay

But you really help lots of people with that Christina, with your pure honest beautiful video's always, thank you for that, and all looks amazing on you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I have medium brown hair and green eyes, but than ore hazel/khaki green, and lighter complexion than you, sort of light to little bit medium. Stunnings looks! For me, pastel are my favorite eyeshadows and this palette is the first natasha denona palette i'm considering to purchase. Unfortunatly most of the reviews complain about the colourstory and don't really focus on the performance of the product itself :( like i get pastel are not for everyone but does it blend well? does it wear well? is it good quality? Because if yes, it will be my everyday palette!

    • @ChristinaBrooke
      @ChristinaBrooke  2 роки тому +1

      I don't think the quality is as good as natasha denona's other palettes. I personally would purchase only if you like the colors in the palette, otherwise maybe a cheaper brand would do.
