When I tried the Dark Justiciar route and I heard the phrase "don't call it love" my heart broke, because she has such a sad voice when she says it.. Even in the epilogue it is clear from what she says that she IS sad. She did it exclusively for us because she knew very well that she couldn't give us a good relationship. She literally sacrificed EVERYTHING for Shar, I will never do it again, I want to see my baby happy surrounded by eight thousand animals or traveling the world with us.
Nah man u messed up, theres a way to make her good again and she gets back with you while abandoning shar and saving her parents, u still get the good shadowheart ending even with her gg dark justiciar route XD She hit me with the " I won't ever give any of my memories with you to shar, not a single one of it " if u find this correct route
I found the best possible route for her, .. Kill night song --> become justicar --> shar removes her painful curse --> rescue her parents --> shadowheart becomes good again --> shar only gave her bad memories of her torturing her parents --> shadowheart becomes selune --> her dialogues with her parents actually make now makes more sense than purely good shadowheart from the start --> you get the good shadowheart ending still . this route feels most canon to me lore wise. I was playing durge pure evil all the way until this happened and then i abandoned baal, this game is insane.
@@another_turtle what do you mean? Shadowheart's path divided two route kill or save Nightsong. If you want her becoming Dark Justiciar, killing is the one. Then later in Act III, meeting her parents, you have two choice kill or persuade her not kill. I heard that she will auto choose her parents if you do something first the mission.
@@jasminegill2691 idk but on this play, i somehow managed to make her good again even after she killed justiciar and then save her and her parents from shar. I rmb passing a ridiculously high checks for this, and i still got the happy ending with her and the parents in the farm
@@DeRizzlo I believe you can skip the ridiculously high persuasion check in Act 3 as well if you discover her old graffiti, talk to her at the dead Justiciar's grave and trigger the conversation about her remembering the smells of the city.
“I’ll give you all that I can. Just don’t call it love.” Pain Thanks for these uploads as always! Could never let Shadowheart go down the dark justiciar path myself to see these lines 😭
I can never bring myself to go this route. "I can't truly love you" coming from dj shadowheart in contrast to selune shadowheart who keeps reminding you you make her "whole" with her family stings more than i thought haha. Well done larian
Frankly, If I couldn't bring her back from Shar's grasp, I'd kill her before Aylin. It's painful to watch how twisted she becomes. And killing Aylin feels bad, dude's been through a lot.
As someone who loves playing sharrans in tabletop 5e, Shadowheart's storyline is such a great way of getting inspiration on how to rp as these kinda of characters. The way Shart is written here is so perfect for her as a sharran, and imo is more interesting narratively than her as a selunite.
Thanks for uploading this. I did Shart’s Selunite romance on my first playthrough, so it’s really interesting to see the contrast between the “good and bad” versions of her…and makes me all the more glad that I turned her away from Shar, who I reckon has proven herself to be more worthy of Umberlee’s nickname than Umberlee herself has.
Well, as far as love goes, letting Shadowheart become a dark justiciar means that you killed Nightsong or gave her away to the absolute which is the evil path anyway so I don't get the expectations here... you like darkness you get darkness kind of thing.
Well, this is the darker Dark Justiciar romance path where she dedicates herself fully to Lady Shar. There can not be room for anyone else in her heart than Shar. She breaks up with Tav after the final battle and aren't officially together in the epilogue. If you want an actual romance with Shadowheart, you need to choose the Enemy of Shar path where she abandons Shar.
I have done that and I also did the epilogue, it's exactly the same as with Selûne Shadowheart's parents saved epilogue. I'd say it's not worth it because you lose everyone at Last Light Inn and then you won't get a second romance scene on the justiciar path if you save the parents. So if you want the parents saved ending, makes more sense to do it on the Selûne Shadowheart path.
@@shadow_risen I was afraid of that but I’ll accept it 😭😭😭 I already saved her parents and killed nightsong because I was Durge. My choices were kill Isobel or kill Shadowheart (obviously I could have resisted both. I was on a resist durge path) and I chose to let Shadowheart kill Nightsong so it would cause Isobel to die. Which in turn would give me the slayer form. Roleplaying-wise I accept my act II choice because my durge wouldn’t let anything bad happen to shadowheart and he would rather let the world burn. Saving parents…. Kinda regretting that but at least I know she’ll be happy at the end with her animals and flowers and durge (No spoilers but I think if I am Durge I am not a part of her epilogue)

5:28 OMG ! even though i didn't went though the darkside path it is worth watching this lines of dialogue just for this !
As long as Shar allows her to remember us, I think even she knows that she won't stop loving...

I think if you don't want to see this. Once entering Rivington, going straight to Lower city - House of Grief. Save her parents.

This will probably be canon, which really messes me up, if viconia's story was any indication

Major Red flags right there for Shadowheart romancers

This pains me to watch. You shouldn't share this, it incites trauma.

i can fix her
I was thinking the same thing lol
Shar shadowheart is never worth it I don’t care if you can change her back
The hair its modded right
No it's vanilla. It's her hair when she becomes a dark justiciar, basically evil Shadowheart.
It's not modded.
Thanks guys I only played the light shadowheart so I didn't know
well... it's the same hair cut when you play the good shadowheart expect it's white hair @@damiantinajero5694
aint no way
This is so not worth it.
That black hair is so much better than the grey one, reason enough to go justiciar every time.
Gotta disagree on that, the grey-white hair makes the green color of her eyes stand out much better.

When you kill shit and gets covered in blood black hair kinda turns into red and it looks nice
