I'm not a writer but it's like I can imagine every book in my head that I've ever read , without having seen the movie. I can see every character and what they look like and feel their pain also. Music is incredible especially when it follows a story , thank you for this , I now see story's and life in a different way and it's absolutely amazing. And to all the writers here, I wish you all the best with telling your stories, I hope one day everyone will get to read them and follow a new journey you left behind.
and writing begins if you see a story no one else has written yet. Typically I have vividly clear images of my characters though some characters just stand out for their voices. And I suck at describing voices so I just hope, if i don´t do it, that the way the character talks, gets along how I imagine his voice^^
Thank you very much! :D
Atop the highest of the Valethorn Mountains, a young girl gazed upon the endless, beautiful landscape before her. Thin layers of cloud hovered below, doing little to obscure the miles of snow-capped trees and dark rocky patches on every mountainside. All around her, the Mortal World flaunted its natural beauty, the pure blue sky and blazing sun betraying the icy chill against her pale face.
The girls dark fur pelt bristled and came alive in the wind just as her vivid rosen hair fluttered like a flag behind her neck, her grass-green eyes bright with amazement at the world below.
Damn it, now my story seems like a first grader's writing assignment next to this!

I'm currently using this to rewrite a trilogy I wrote back in 2016, when i was about 16. I got halfway through the third book before I realised I wasn't happy with it and then I left it for a really long time, wrote a novella, published said novella, and now I'm finally going back to this. Same characters, new concept, 4 years later. The unfinished trilogy stood at 144,456 words, and I'm hoping the smash that with this rewrite.
Good luck ! It's fastidious but really rewarding to see a book through

I am just a 13 year old daydreamer with extremely high expectations for love, and it’s my biggest wish to be one of the best writers so here is a small story I wrote while listening to this playlist while trying to bring down my expectations✨
She’s sitting alone on a rusty bench, outside of the castle. Watching him joyfully waiting for his bride to walk down the aisle. She remembers, the memories, harrowing, glorious, confusing, all of them. But it doesn’t make any difference anyway. The sudden bliss she used to have, the petrichor, the inexplicable feeling of comfort, doesn’t make much sense anymore.
“She looks just like a dream, she’s perfect, walking down the aisle, I hope you’re happy with her.”
“It’s the end of everything, our love, our memories, the end of me. But atleast you’ve found your beginning”
Keep going :)

Jeremy Soule is the John Williams of video game music.
The similarity is perfectly adequate.
Search iTunes or other online music store for the soundtrack Monster Galaxy, he did music for that game that was also used for the website Gaia online, awesome music too. You can find the same songs used for Monster Galaxy on their zOMG! game for that site.
John Williams music tends to be a little bit brighter, but in terms of having amazing music i would agree with you :)

It's been a dream of mine to write my own fantasy novel series for as long as I can remember. I even wanted to become an author when I was 6 years old. I'm 24 years old today and it looks like I'm heading towards that path. I'm finally making my childhood dream come true. This music makes me feel so inspired while writing. It helps my flow going and developing my fantasy world. I've almost finished the first chapter of my rough draft. Most terrifying thought is to one day actually finish this book and have it read by strangers and family. It's difficult to know whether I'm biased because it's my own story or if people, young teenagers in particular would actually enjoy reading my story and want more. I want to create a world where you feel like you can escape from reality and living in the world as if it's happening for real. We shall see what happens...might make some updates here as I progress the story. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew!
Hell yeah dude, follow your dreams, as someone who is nearing the end of my novel's first ddraft, it is daunting to think of it being finished and publiushed, but it's exciting too. I hope you keep writing and do not have the same problem that I have when trying to make it all perfect in one go, because that's what revisions are for. Good luck, and know that if you write 500 words a day, you will have a novel's worth of writing in a year!

Damn... I remember listening to this two years ago, trying to write my own novel. Fun fact : I was scrolling through the comments and everyone said it was helping them write a book and they had already written 300 pages or 40000 words. At that time I had a "passion" of writing my first novel and becoming an author (that's where my name came from). But never succeed finishing my work... I always wrote, say 10 pages, and then finding it not good. And then I deleted it. Now, this feeling has gone away... but I miss that nostalgia. I have still papers of thoughts about novels or "prologues" about ideas I never finished and they take me back... uhh. It was that great year of 2019. So good.
*Nostalgia Hints* :
1. This playlist, besides the fact that reminds me of all those times listening to my headphones and writing my "novel", it also takes me back to a specific single day of 2019.
2. The time I had that "passion", I uploaded my first youtube video. It's called "Merlin Season 5 Episode 13 | Emrys strikes Saxons, Morgana and Dragon". Now it's my most viewed video on youtube.
3. I just wonder... what happened to all those I read their comments 2 years ago? Did they publish their books or wrote to fulfill their dreams with fantasy? Something they wanted really or a passion that now has fade away?
Nice how are u now

She breathed, slowly, with the air flowing around her long dark hair, looking at the view before her. Even before the sunrise, the kingdom of Maldron steal had a shining aura of golden light. The streets where empty, not a living been walk down the paths but a few lonely animals, looking for food. In the middle of the city, next to a dark blue lake, stood the Maldron Castle. It was old and dirty, but steal, after almost a thousand years, it stood tall. taller even then the mountains that srounderd the city, hiding an infinent forest behind them. The view was beautiful and incredibly painful. She looked at the place she had to leave so long ago, and smiled sadly. A tear fell from her glowing red eye, when the sun rised over Maldron once again.

The lost cities
They stood in the dancing grass, touched by the warm sun setting before their eyes. They watched the birds soar in the field below their grassy cliff.
The little girl with the fiery eyes picks out a handful of wild flowers growing near the edge of the cliff. She closes her eyes and breathes deep. The flowers slip through her outstretched hand and fall gently down to the windy meadow below. She opens her eyes as the last flower lands, and the dying rays of day burn upon her face.
“Mama?” She says.
“Yes, darling?” He mother stands to her side, warm tears slowly leaking through her shut eyes.
“What happened to the lost cities?” The little girl asks. “The ones in the old stories.” Images of stark, sky-reaching towers and dark temples flash in her mind. Then all turns to ruin and it all lays bleak and empty with the solemn wind shrilling through the fallen stone.
Her mother sighs and looks up at the sky dotted with the first stars. “We don’t know. The span of time between is too vast and all we have are fragments; shattered on the rocky rivers of time.” The little girl wonders at the aged eyes of her mother as she continues, “And perhaps we may never know”.
The sun sinks and the light leaves the cliff and falls behind the edge of the earth.
Wow....this is truly a masterpiece..😍😍

This is really cool. I want this to be a book.

good luck my dude! What's it about?
Tell us the premise and some details
LeBron Savic currently the plot centers around the world coming close to an end for a second time, as the most evil being Lucifer starts to gain power again. The only powerful enough beings are the Seraphs. There are four Seraphs. One doesn’t know he has powers, ones father is Lucifer’s right hand man, one feels inferior because she is unable to walk, and the fourth doesn’t want to see his friends die like he did last time Lucifer tried to take over. That’s kinda the easiest way I can put it!

I'm worldbuilding to this music. It's so encouraging seeing how many other people are also working on their own stories and are writing their own fantasy books. I just finished my first one and am now moving on to the next, but I've already hit some serious writer's block. Reading the comments of my fellow writers has inspired me to keep trying, so thank you everyone, and good luck on your adventures!!
thats amazing you've finished your first book drop the link
Writing a book to this 13,513 words, 11 chapters, 44 pages so far.
wow those are really short chapters 😅
@@baptistemartin2995 they are 5-6 pages per chapter, however, in a normal sized book, its 10-12 pages. Its written in word form.
@@danielg6241 oh ok, that wasn't a critique don't worry, just saying. 10-12 seems really short too, I'm used to 30-40 pages per chapters
@@baptistemartin2995 zeesh what giants are you reading?
@@danielg6241 every book I read was like that ! For example Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, A game of thrones, Ender's game and many others. Maybe this is a French particularity ?
I finished a book while listening to this and now I'm editing. It has roughly 35,000 words, ye :D
And for those interested,
A dad kidnapped the two youngest siblings (who are twins) when they were about 3. The mother died from cancer after the twins were kidnapped and the four older brothers dedicated their lives to find their siblings, while joining a clan to save everyone who has powers from the Nemesis.
This plot, however, is just inside a bigger plot, that comes to play at the end of the novel.
Their family used to be Ikris (Humans with amazing fighting skills and black wings who defended other countries and Light/Darkness). But as Ikris were being hunted, the family was to be stripped of everything (no longer Ikris) after being voted against- (The Ikris had laws and consequences I'm not exactly going into now). After that happens, they're thrown into Earth to dwell together and be human forever.
Jeez, what a nightmare.
Except, this particular family kept their powers. When being completely turned into human, a Captain had done something to prevent it's full process, making it so they kept their powers. And are able to turn back into being Ikris if they ever remember.
But of course, they had all memories that existed, replaced.
Now the Ikris is extinct, two clans are fighting against one another (both are wanting good), and Light/Darkness are on the run so no one kills them, and if someone does, kaboom goes existence.
I feel bad for my characters. But don't worry my guys, I'll get most of you through this...
This sounds awesome! Would totally read it. What’s it called and where can I buy it?

most people here are listening to this to write their next novel and then there is me with my 11th unfinished book...
Hey, just dont' stop writting! Talk over plot points with others, write short stories about people in the world, or just find cool art on pintrest. Anything to keep finding ways to redo and re-evaluate what you have. Don't quit! Your stories are cool.
@@johnjensen1859 its not that i dont Like my work (not saying that i do Like it) but its more Like i keep coming up with new ideas and cant focus on one specific story. Even when those ideas can be tweaked and added to the crurent book i still feel Like it would be better if they had an entire seperate book for each one of them so i start a new story thinking that i found the perfect plot but end up having a new idea and start a new story.
Thanks for your comment tho ^^
@@highr8764 Well that sucks. It's a struggle to be sure. I too have trouble finishing projects. It took me 5 years to iron out all the details in a story I wanted to write, and now I have to friggin WRITE it!
But hey, at least we have good music!
Stay strong, friend.
Hey man! I'm writing my fourth, and I've been writing out these details for over a month now. I work morning and afternoon and yet I keep getting new ideas for new books, just like you! My advice is: keep writing those ideas down, but focus on the one you think you can write the most for. If you think you can incorporate some of those ideas, good! If not, leave them aside for another day. Just keep thinking! But keep in mind not all your ideas might be used, just the most special :)
Woah! What's it called?
Also, any tips on character development writing?
Creating lore for my story; listening to this I wrote in 45 minutes what I couldn’t do in 3 weeks
Jeremy Soule is one of the most important video game composers of our time. His work on The Elder Scrolls series is ground breaking and inspiring in a ways I can't really describe. One of my most important influences and probably always will be.
Well said
He also made the only soundtrack to a 40k game that I can agree with, Dawn of War.
I am so sad that he won't be making the music for The Elder Scrolls VI
him and Marty O'Donnel
I don't remember when or how it happed, but I was preparing for my exams but the next thing you know, I was standing there in the fields of crimson colored grass with my 3200 men ready to charge at the kingdom Remsvell. Looking over me from the heavens were the gods of Ironstem. While the dark skies cried with rage and sorrow. A shot war cry, we charged at the gates of Remsvell, cutting and stabbing anything that came in out way, we cut we got cut, we stabbed we got stabbed, many men lost there lives, but they were just sacrifices for the greater good, or so I thought, and they will now be forgotten either. Among those men, was my only brother Yenderfall, he was a brave sole, with a will stronger than a sword forged with obsidian, and strength of a million elephants, he is in a better place now. At last we won and the Kingdom of Remsvell is ours, but as I sit here, writing this, I wonder was it worth the 2000 men we lost, those were 2000 families who cried that night, 2000 sons and daughter who lost a person to look up to. 2000 lives for not even 200 seconds to live in peace, for a new war has started in Britania, wonder how many more people will die, how many more times will I be scared. Only time will tell, for now that is all I have to say.
As I gaze at the starry sky of the night, I would like to ask a single question to the gods, Was it worth it?
woah so writing a book while listening to fantasy music is a thing, im amazed
Everytime I have a writers block and need to concentrate and get myself in a writing mood I come back to this video. Many thanks for this!

This is perfect for the book that I'm writing! It fits the plot and I'm only 11 but I feel like this helped me to write the book. Thanks for posting!
@snowCloud same here
Don't let your age stand in your way, stranger. Write 'til you can't no more, take a break, rinse, and repeat!
Mia - Does - Gaming your first book I’m guessing? :P I wrote my first story at around your age... But it wasn’t until I was 13 that I started to seriously write. Even ended up having 16 full pieces of lined a4 paper FILLED with text hand written everywhere; in class, between classes, on the bus on the way home, at home, on the bus back to school... You name it, I wrote the story there xD Ended up putting it down after about 6 months of that I think... then forgot about it and decided to start over Cos it was riddled with copyright lawsuits waiting to happen; main character was named Eragon, and he wielded a lightsaber 🤣
Mia - Does - Gaming don't ever give up!! I started my writing journey when I was about your age. It began with a book that I've since given up on, but that actually helped to inspire another story that I hope to start work on soon. I'm 16 now and I finished writing my first novel in January after four years of work and I'm hoping to someday get it published. It's not easy, but let me tell you: the satisfaction and pure joy you feel once you complete it is SO worth it!!
Also, just some advice I've picked up along the way that you might find useful:
Don't ever give up! Sometimes it may feel like starting the whole story over again would be better than trying to fix whatever mess you find yourself in, but trust me, it's much better to just push through and face the problem head on.
Be prepared to edit - A LOT😂 Seriously, there's so much more editing that goes into a book than I thought. Don't let that intimidate you, tho, cause although it's tedious at times, it can still be pretty fun.
Have someone you can tell your ideas to. I don't know if this is just me, but I find it easier to imagine things and come up with new ideas if I have someone to talk about them with. I don't really know why, but I love being able to talk to friends and family members about characters and stories I've created and how my worlds work. It really helps me have a more solid idea of everything. Depending on your personality, you may not want to talk to someone else about these things until you've actually finished your book, but if you think it'll help then definitely give it a try!!
This one I think is the most important. When you're ready, and only when you're ready, when you let people read your book, make sure they give you their honest thoughts on it. This was by far the hardest part for me. After all, this book is your baby that you've poured countless hours into. Giving it to someone else to read can be a scary thought because they might completely tear it apart. But, honestly, your own friends likely wouldn't do this; if they did have any criticisms that they voiced, they would probably do so in a much nicer way. But make sure you ask for their honest opinions, because if there's something they wanted you to change or thought you could do better, you could learn from these suggestions and either incorporate them into your next work or use them to improve your writing. Of course, if these suggestions are ways to change the book itself, then it's entirely up to you on whether or not you use them.
Sorry for the long read, but your comment caught my eye, firstly because my name is also Mia. And when I saw that you're starting to write around the same age I did, I knew I had to encourage you and offer some helpful tips I wish I'd had when I first started. We newbies gotta stick together after all ;)
But anyway, good luck on your adventure and God bless!!

I’m a fourteen year old author writing a romance/fantasy novel. It’s about this boy named Maverick in the really early 1300s. Witches and warlocks are outlawed and were burned in 1313. Except for a couple covens. Maverick is part of a coven posing to be merchants. He has lived in a small village with his Pops and the rest of the villagers for his entire life. One day a girl from the big kingdom comes to the village. They didn’t want to heal her because she could be from Queenstown and if they knew they were witches then they’d all be killed.bur maverick and easton(his best friend) saved her anyways. And she became their friend. Turns out she lied a bit and she was the lord of the kingdoms daughter. Anyways her and Maverick and Easton run off together in search of her seductive sister. ETC yada yada happens

Man the Neverwinter Nights theme started and I had such a vivid nostalgia flashback. Thank you for that.
Oh, this takes me back. I still remember those halcyon days when I, Kathren the Mongrel, trudged through midnight streets of Neverwinter, ventured into the darkest woods on the road to Luskan, and plundered the most ancient of tombs along with my bravado filled companion Tomi 'Grin' Undergallows.
He did a lot to offset the grim, scar-faced countenance of my perpetually scowling face. I understand it made people uneasy, I didn't normally care. His quick wit helped defuse many situations that might have otherwise boiled over into violence. What a pair we were, this tiny halfling thief scurrying with a cocky grin on his face the shadow of some looming near seven foot amazon. We were like a pair of shadows in the wind, few saw us coming until it was too late.
He kept me alive in those city streets and dungeons, as I did return the favor in the deep wilderness or when faced with some monstrous threat my expertise as a ranger and a berserker allowed me to dispatch as quickly as his nimble fingers could a trap. He lusted for gold, I lusted for vengeance. Unlikely heroes, but our heroism had to be motivated by something. The only love I ever knew died of the wailing death and anything that stood in the way of my dual blades would be mowed down by my unrelenting fury.
It was a shame it was to include that fool girl... I've never spoken a word about it until now in my old age some twenty years later. The quarter orc and quarter elf help even out the aging process to something human, I suppose. Of course I pitied her. I knew what it was like to love, and lose love. She felt betrayed so she herself betrayed. But she made one fatal mistake. She stood between myself and the wizard who did it.
There was no hesitation.
I KNEW I recognized this music--looking for something to write my fantasy scene to, and suddenly flashed to my tiefling bard tromping through the woods with Neeshka and Kelgar. Checked the desc. and it was Neverwinter alright. That's some nostalgia!
Neverwinter Nights is one of my favorite games EVER. It's been 15 years and Bioware may have abandoned it, but I'm so happy that people like you are keeping its incredible memory alive through music.
I'm hoping it will get remastered like the Black Isle Studios games...right down to the toolset and player-run servers.
i never knew why ppl like that trash game. never liked it
The big reason was the MUD servers. Players made a *ton* of content for the game, allowing tightly knit communities to be borne and blossom.
I remember writing scripts in the Aurora engine for 2. Oh Sweet days.
Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition is coming my friend, enjoy:

I wasn't expecting a Jeremy playlist, we definitely hold him in the same regard 'cause I listen to his work at least once a day. Been doing that since his earliest works hit and while that sounds like it'd get boring after a while, it hasn't. His work has of a lot of depth to it and there's so much to listen to that getting bored is seemingly impossible. If anything, I've come to love it more and find great comfort in his music because I've familiarized myself with it so much.
It helps that I grew up listening to soundtracks so at least one Soule song a day doesn't hurt anything and helps keep away the nostalgia bug from infecting me immensely.
10/10 recommend listening while reading any Tolkien book it is amazing
Especially The Silmarillion ;)
I can recoginze Oblivion's OST from miles away and i still love it to date

This is probably one of my favourite fantasy/rpg music playlists
I am a teen and I want to be an author when I grow up. Perfect for setting the mood for fantasy books. I like to turn off the lights, turn this music on and dive into my different world that belongs to me and my characters. Anyone else?
Also, does anyone else think that the beginning of the second song is like Beauty and the Beast?
Me too. :)

Fuck it, those oblivion soundtracks are choking my feels damn i need to play it again. How can something grab you so hard that it takes you away from all realities around you? I literally forgot everything when i played this game.
Drunken Pirate Which game?
Oblivion
Oups, I didn't see it.
Thank you :)
@Drunken Pirate - same here... it just brings back memories of collecting all those rare ingredients all over the Cyrodiil that I would really just want to do it all over again - even though, that Oblivion just seemed to crash a lot, when too many portals were opened and closed. I think I done about 200 of them and all of a sudden, my PC couldn't handle that anymore so it crashed every time I came out of interior to exterior.
I know, those soundtracks are really hard to listen to when I'm trying to study because oh my god now all I want to do is play Oblivion.
I'm rewriting my novel to this. Barely begun but I hope I'll have plenty of progress as of tonight.
Update(7/31/2020): It has been nearly a year and I'm proud to say that I've fully rewritten it and moved partway into the second book of its trilogy! The name of the first book is Burden Of The Empire and it tells the tale of a war between two long opposing species, one made of long lost souls risen from the depths of hell and one of their far descendants fighting to protect what little they have.
The series itself is called The Forsaken Trilogy and I'm excited to publish it in the next coming years! ❤✨
What's it about
Good luck 🍀
It's been 11 months and I'd love to hear how it's going!
Jeremy Soule... what an absolute master of his craft.
Thank you ! This mix really helped me developing my fantasy world for my snk fic ! And after almost 2 years and a half, it is finished ! Thank you for the journey !!!
Jeremy Soule wrote all this music. What a legend.
Man, this helped me study so well. Like, this was what was going through my head.
"Man, this music makes my math-work seem like an adventure! I wonder what the art looks like... EPIC! Wow, I wonder what it would be like to see that, or be in that city, with those giant towering statues protecting you... or what if I was the king! What if there was an invading army of orcs and goblins, and I had to evacuate the people and battle for days! No wait... the art is changing... Wow, such a pretty forest. Man, I wish I spent more of my childhood in those woods... wait, what am I doing? I need to go out there, and explore, and have an adventure!!!"
...
Or maybe it didn't help me study, I don't know...
Jarom Gregson who cares? As the music carried you, so too did the artwork xD Admittedly though, you’d get lost if you read how I do stuff like this art xD Cos using nothing but words I can paint a 16k resolution picture of an ocean of grass, being blown by a breeze, under a sky that is filled with the most incredible nebula, along with a river winding away from you, which has carved out a whole entire valley, which itself has become lined with trees all the way to a corner in said river where it diverts away from a steel and silver coloured mountain range and heads to the sea xD
maaan, I'm currently writing a coming of age and romance book and hearing this, makes me want to write a fantasy!!
Listened to this while watching a sunset on the beach. It was almost spiritual.
