I've been up for 20 hrs and I have to be back up in 2 hrs, but I've been having SUCH insomnia restlessness lately. Somehow I had a feeling that flutes would help to soothe me, but this video was even better than I expected. The music and reason are perfectly gentle and balanced so there's no startling dynamic changes, and the background scenery is beautiful and relaxing as well, so soft and still and comforting. As soon as I turned this on I felt the bodily tension and frantic thoughts melt away into perfect peace. My eyes are already closing. Thank you so much for this good medicine 🙏💜

the way you signal the breaks is pretty genius imo. Its gentle enough not to be jarring or annoying but obvious enough that I looked up and noticed oh its break time. Genuinely impressed how you did that.
I just now discovered this, but I highly appreciate the break times! I'm actually animating instead of writing, so the break times are allowing me to take a break and rest my wrist to some beautiful nature sounds ^^
Love this! Thank you for making this. I personally chose to cover the countdown number (because I distract myself too much with it, lol), but loved having the moving slider at the bottom of the screen to show my time progression. That was a nice added touch and I don't know why this is, but it's more motivating for me to see that vs the countdown. Although I didn't mind the countdown on the breaks. But don't take the countdown off the sessions as I'm sure there may be others who prefer the countdown. The break screens were amazing too! They were so fitting for each of it's individual break. It was especially pleasant to see a small montage a few seconds before starting a session again. I also want to mention that I heard about your immersive writing sessions from your podcast!
There's a tabletop music site I've been going to, but I haven't had the time/energy to create a full adventure playlist thing like you have here, so thank you! The other things of "peaceful music for 2 hours" are nice, but this provides relevant variety!

Took a time to find the right playlist, I am writing a book idea I had for a while, for now I am o my on the first outline, the world settings and the main story. But the playlist is exactly how the world feels to me, calm in the city, towns and villages, though there is always a way to go deeper in the history of those and learn things that you would rather not know. The ambience describe that verry well as well as the strange mixing of how I created the world with both fantasy and modern as well as middle age and sci-fi settings so thank you!

I've used these prompts before for writing and world building for dnd, however I used this to clean today and I have never been more productive! It reminded me to take breaks and go at a pace I was comfortable with! I especially knocked out a bunch during the sword fights lol

the way you signal the breaks is pretty genius imo. Its gentle enough not to be jarring or annoying but obvious enough that I looked up and noticed oh its break time. Genuinely impressed how you did that.
I just now discovered this, but I highly appreciate the break times! I'm actually animating instead of writing, so the break times are allowing me to take a break and rest my wrist to some beautiful nature sounds ^^

Love this! Thank you for making this. I personally chose to cover the countdown number (because I distract myself too much with it, lol), but loved having the moving slider at the bottom of the screen to show my time progression. That was a nice added touch and I don't know why this is, but it's more motivating for me to see that vs the countdown. Although I didn't mind the countdown on the breaks. But don't take the countdown off the sessions as I'm sure there may be others who prefer the countdown. The break screens were amazing too! They were so fitting for each of it's individual break. It was especially pleasant to see a small montage a few seconds before starting a session again.
I also want to mention that I heard about your immersive writing sessions from your podcast!
There's a tabletop music site I've been going to, but I haven't had the time/energy to create a full adventure playlist thing like you have here, so thank you! The other things of "peaceful music for 2 hours" are nice, but this provides relevant variety!
I use these videos to do my masters coursework because it makes me feel like I am completing some epic quest and not just grinding out essays. Working on my dissertation at the moment.

Took a time to find the right playlist, I am writing a book idea I had for a while, for now I am o my on the first outline, the world settings and the main story. But the playlist is exactly how the world feels to me, calm in the city, towns and villages, though there is always a way to go deeper in the history of those and learn things that you would rather not know. The ambience describe that verry well as well as the strange mixing of how I created the world with both fantasy and modern as well as middle age and sci-fi settings so thank you!

I have listened to a lot of fantasy music, played thousands of hours of fantasy, RPG, MMO and strategic games, I have facilitated hundreds of hours of DnD as a Dungeon master...and this video with the music within is in my top 3 playlists of all time! It's one of the best things I have experienced!
