Shout out to Eric and Paula for joining my Sports Marketing class this week. They were awesome! The students enjoyed the experience and had some great things to say. Thanks for taking the time this past week!
Another great intro Eric with the drone homing in to Puala on the treadmill. The synchro of sound & video was superb! Also that "backyard" is very cool. The remainder of the vid with indoor Zwift/swimming drills/treadmill/weights/yoga looked like time well spent and Paula's meals never let me down. Quality time spent while in quarantime for two elite triathletes, thanks for sharing this with us!
Ah, my Sunday is complete...I can give you a marketing tip......I need that black hat....can't wait till you get more. I'm in NYC as you may remember (saw someone wearing TTL hat in central park) and the excitement here is the the pools are open by reservation on Thursday. And i got a slot ;) I really loved the opening drone shot coming back into the garage. And I work out like Eric...hard to get the motivation. Hopefully, this blog will continue to inspire me. Thanks again
Another well-shot video. I did say last week, that the Nordic track treadmills were excellent. I have one in my pain cave, here in the UK. That is some home your in. I think you said it belonged to Paula's parents. I might have that wrong? beautiful home in a stunning location. I have some family in Canada just outside Toronto. it's a fabulous country., look forward to you getting outdoors again next week. I actually raced a proper race here in the UK yesterday. An Olympic distance actually on the roads with other people. Not virtual. However, it's already getting colder here. Long dark, cold wet winter days training are on the way. Hopefully, once we emerge from this coming winter, we will all be able to race again, and travel to races around the country, and also overseas. stay safe.
Best video yet you two!! Love the opening cinematic drone shot with the treadmill in the background just so so good! Love the S&C stuff - not sure what made this different from the others (big fan anyway) must be the Canada effect 🤔😉
Any chance you could publish your home gym routine? Really enjoy watching you two training and the rapport you both have is superb. Can’t wait for my sweat to arrive.
Elevation place is open for swimming! Was there last week.. but I’m sure you already knew that. Enjoy your stay, today was another amazing early fall day here :)
it looks like more a dream than a quarantine, isn't it?.....i am not the best person to judge it but really nice (drone)intro.great precision and constant approch..;....nice environment.humble, simple and efficient training space garage.tx for sharing your training, your execises movments, your food..your life in fact..that's fun!and obviously how could i forget superpuppy whining cause u let him two seconds bloccked behind bags, bike, baskets:tell him i said he was exagerrating!!!When u know the life he has.....i find him so funny. Tx for video.cheers from France. XXXXX
Yeah we have! It’s just hard to get on top while also making the weekly lifestyle show. But we’re playing with a lot of ideas right now, so thanks for the tip :)
As soon as i saw the logo fade into a slow drone push with synced audio on the treadmill I literally said outloud "OH OK WELL THATS AN IMMEDIATE SUB FOR YOU MY GOOD SIR". Hahaha Glad I found you as one of my main life goals is to finish an ironman!
Hello! Love the videos, i am a new runner and I am struggling to get my breathing pattern down in a more efficient way. Have any tips/can you make a video on this? Cheers, SV
He's a german wirehair pointer, 9 months. I would honestly not recommend getting one unless you have unlimited amounts of time to walk it each day and even more patience ;) We just started taking him on 30 minute runs every few days, and have to give him 2x45 minute walks each day or he's completely insane.
@@ThatTriathlonLife lol, thought so, great lookin dog....had a German Shorthaired Point several years ago, exercise was key to our collective sanity. After 12 months, starting running with her, never an issue and eventually mellowed. Good luck with him, your training, and of course racing.
A relative from estonia Rait Ratesepp broke the world record times for the ultramarathon , 180 km cycling , run a marathon and swim 3.5 km every day for 40 days , averaging 11 hours each day approx !
Hi Eric and Paula nice gym workout. Actually I have a treadmill in my garage that just broke very sad. I want the price another one and they told me that they wouldn't warranty I treadmill if it wasn't a controlled climate which item means heated garage. Is your garage heated and do you have any knowledge of if a treadmill works fine if it gets cold
So.. you guys must have well off parents or something right? I have a mate who is a well known triathlete, and he doesnt make enough to live the way you guys live, and I have never heard your names on a circuit... Must be nice
Hey there, we actually don’t. I worked in a tri shop from 2009-2012 saving up $10k so I could move to California and try to make it as a pro. It took two years before I won a $2500 check, then another 2 before I was fully self-sustained between sponsors, federation funding, and prize money. It’s 100% not a career to choose if you want to make a bunch of money, but at this point in our careers we’ve saved really well when we’ve won big events and built good relationships with our sponsors, so we’re not living paycheck to paycheck anymore.
That opening was dope
yep!really nice!!!
Better than most movies imo.

Hey Jeremy! Thanks for having us, that was a blast! Hopefully we didn’t bore the class too much 😂
That opening shot though 🙌 🙌 🙌
Been going backward through your videos lately and just got the dose of quarantine nostalgia :-)
Every once in a while I catch Paula watching one and we feel the same. Strange to feel that way about such a time

Another classic! Love the treadmill fade in at the beginning 👍
This one takes the cake for "cinematic". I thought it was going to just be the opening video, but its the whole thing.
It’s amazing what you can do when you’re stuck in one place for two weeks ;)
ok but WOW the place you live is beautiful never seen anything like that before in the Uk

You guys are killing it with these videos. It's super crazy to see how far your production has evolved!!
You two make quarantine look fun. Great workout and thanks for video.
haha it's all in the editing 😂 It wasn't too bad, honestly. Very simple living
Paula’s shoes during “gym” are dope. Always great content, glad you guys are making the best of being stuck inside.
Some epic cinematography!
The opening shot was like something out of a cabin in the woods horror film and I mean that in the best possible way. Simply awesome!

Very cool drone intro. Hope to see you race soon!
Cool opening. Looking forward to the outdoor adventures again I'm sure. Canada looks sweet. Stay healthy!
I see nordic skis! Good winter cross training, and a beautiful spot at that.
Great video. I too, love doing power circuit training. I have to add a few of your exercises to mine.

These videos are just great... thank you guys🤗
One of my favorite episodes, thx
Beautiful place!
Paula you are freakin jacked 🤙 I’m from Bend but am up in Calgary area too. Keep it up! I love your vids
Commenting on the intro as everyone, high class, Eric, congrats
Eric, the quads on the monster walks👍👍

Enjoyed the strengthening exercises!
Erick muy bacanos tus videos, parecen peliculas!!! (very cool vids, like movies production)
That treadmill shot though 👌🏻

You should race here in the Philippines scenery are nice and also temperature is hot in here😄💕
I would love if you did a video of your strength training exercises to workout along to! Anyways, great video as always!

Great usage of quarantine gym!
As always great video!
Great vid!! Superb quality
Love your videos bro! Watching all the way from Bahrain!!!
I'm always repping my Canadian Tire water bottle I raced with at 2017 ITU Worlds in Penticton.
Canmore looks beautiful!
Awesome workout Paula!! U should do a instructional gym workout vlog series - have u ever thought about putting those together????

Loved it.

Great video guys! even in these conditions training is always possible ;-)

Haha that's amazing. Glad you liked that, I was stoked it worked out. Good luck with the ironman goal, that's quite a journey ahead!
Hey guys, another great vid👍 how long you looking to stay in Canada? Doesn’t it start getting pretty cold and snowy up there?
The opening shots, my dude.
Saludos dese Chile 🇨🇱 🤗
Couldn’t help but notice all the x country skis in the garage!
Great video!
Thanks!
Nice routine. ✌️🇨🇦✌️
That intro was so sick
Thanks 🙏
Hello! Love the videos, i am a new runner and I am struggling to get my breathing pattern down in a more efficient way. Have any tips/can you make a video on this? Cheers, SV
Great intro. Can I ask which music subscription you use, thanks
Canmore is such a beautiful place
Does anyone have tips to improve transition times for sprint distance triathlons?
What is the music just after 1.09.....awsome tune...
I gotta know what city in Canada this is. It’s looks really nice
Canmore 👌
Love it.
Does Paula use a particular yoga app for the stretches? I need a new routine.
What's the music at 2:42?
..... we're actually enjoying it.
Yeeehaaaaaaa
That intro 👍
Great video, looks to be a beautiful environment to train, albeit a few warmer months of the year. Curious what breed of dog Flynn is and how old?

Hey Paula which type of Nike running shoe are you wearing on the treadmill. Thank you !
A relative from estonia Rait Ratesepp broke the world record times for the ultramarathon , 180 km cycling , run a marathon and swim 3.5 km every day for 40 days , averaging 11 hours each day approx !
Watch that lateral lunge knee drift Eric. Fire your adductors so your knee stays over the ankle. 👍🏻😁
Very cool video, thanks and hi from Ukraine ( Odessa) Sergei ✊🤗
Wow what a stunning place and neighborhood. Are these houses 1 house with 2 different two car garges, or on each lot is this 2 different houses?
They’re duplexes haha that would be a big house!
hugely off topic but could you give me an estimate of what these kind of homes go for in canmore ca? id love to live in such a region!
I was also looking for a CT treadmill, which model did you get?
Hi Eric and Paula nice gym workout. Actually I have a treadmill in my garage that just broke very sad. Garage isn’t “heated” but we do have a little space heater in there. Haven’t needed it yet though
You guys need to save some energy for the love times
Hi guys, maybe you mentioned it somewhere, but what treadmill are you using and would you rate it?
music from?
#technogym Eric and Paula need a treadmill!!! :)
Hi, great vid. Can you pls tell me what model total gym that is?
It’s the C990. We’re not signing off on it yet, but with a little Wd40 love it’s been working 👌
Eric Lagerstrom sorry I meant the total boulder gym slide machine for the swimming drills etc. Thanks!
@@ThatTriathlonLife aahhhh...this international good old wd40....👍
It is what you make it
De que vive esta gente? 🤔
can you show us the full day of eating again ?
Yeah we'll circle back around to that at some point. We did just do a vitamix (blender) eating episode a few weeks ago if you want to check that out 👌
@@ThatTriathlonLife yeah already seen that one, great video ! goodluck for both of you
awwwsome dude
What was the breakfast you made in the video?
leftover potatoes, eggs, rice, peppers. Sort of a "leftover hash" I guess you could call it.
Also do you do this workout everyday or is this an every-other-day thing
We do some version of it every other day-ish. I like to do just a couple of them before every run to activate core
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Why were you in quarantine?
Returned from Usa To Canada and it’s mandatory for anytime entering Canada
❤️
what is your paypal so i can help donate to your camera?

Um. Don’t take this as a knock on Portland. Or your place there. BUT. Why don’t you live in that amazing cabin ALL the time!!!!
Haha because 8 months of the year it's 15 below and snowing. When we're done with triathlon as a profession, we'll look to buy our own place up here
Don't forget to lube the treadmill belt...
Running is for idiots... i am very idiot 😂
Honey, do you know you look and sound like COBIE SMULDERS ?
ah no, I actually don't know who that is
@@ThatTriathlonLife look it up, shes an actress, plays robin sherbatsky, and maria hill in the avengers
Healthy people in quarantine? Kinda pointless 😂😂😂
