Missing from Eric's 20 min tubeless setup tutorial: Impossible to get tires on the the rim, sealant everywhere, bead won't seat, rim tape has a leak somewhere, valve not properly sealed, bloody fingers, hours turn to days, days turn to weeks, a deep dark anger slowly fills every crevice of your mind, lashing out at loved ones, pushing away help from family and friends, what have you done to deserve this? bike never gets ridden again, you never feel love again, all you see when you close your eyes is tires and sealant, slip into madness, never recover. who have you become? was it worth it? Should have been a golfer.
Hi, a bit late for the weekly fix today. but as always worth the check-in! Great bike segment at the end. And as always great music edit. Although lost my shazam on my phone although I thought I recognized the track I couldn't quite identify it. We still have no snow here. Well unless you live in Scotland which is a bit further up our island from where we are at! Anyway great watch, stay safe see you both next week, much love from the UK.
Every video is getting better and better.. you´re amazing camera man Erik.. love your both stories and can´t wait for every Sunday to watch your program....
Between your ski videos and those of the DeBooms, I just bought (another) set of skis yesterday for doing some uphill skinning, then down the groomers at Sugar Bowl in the Tahoe region. My own triathlon life is now taking second chair to skiing. :)
Great video. Incredible weather!! Slightly jealous....but x country skiing here is keeping us happy. Pinch flat while tubeless??? What-chew-talkin-about-Willis???
Weather is crazy right now 🤯 literally bottoming put the tire on the rim on something sharp and cutting the tire. Happens all the time on technical trails and chunky gravel. Not an issue on buffed out gravel/dirt
to shoot the skiing at time stamp 3:45, were you using gopro 360 or what type of stick to allow camera view to go from view behind you to moving the camera to front and record ahead of you?
Eric, quick general question. Now that your TTL brand is getting well established, any thought about changing the name of the channel? I am fascinated by these aspects of UA-cam and brand building.
The process of transferring everything to a new Google account scares me because you can lose everything. It’s not quite as simple as just renaming it, unfortunately. But it’ll happen at some point
I figure this is as good a place to ask as any. I am a cycling newbie buying my first bike and have two options. Giant Defy 1 or a Marin Pasubio. Anyone tell me which is a better option?? Thanks!
Classic. Snowboarder forgetting the poles... (coming from a fellow snowboarder and wife that gives my husband shit for forgetting to load my gear. LOL)

👆yes! Sending you thoughts and prayers 😂
😂
Most of that is with normal tube tire changes also. I have the bloody fingers to prove it 😂
Try getting a tubeless to seal when it's dark out, muddy, and you've been riding for 5 hours.
😆🤣 yes!! Exactly like that!! 😂
I love Flynn's comment at 0:02 - like he's saying "let me out- it's going to be another great day!"!
You guys are the best. Coffee rides the best
The best!
Eric, whenever you retire from triathlon, you should consider being a bike mechanic. I love seeing your expertise and love of the process!
Haha thanks, I’ll add it to the list of retirement jobs :)
Love the OG glasses - good things happen when you're in charge, Eric :) And I'd take those gravel roads any day over the snow covered ones here in TO!
the music in this one is just such a great vibe, awesome editing as always.
Really feeling the disco lately 👍
The ski trip was some very cool video
Such beautiful scenery and music at the start of the video. I love your indoor training space!

The drone shots are impressive! Very well done.
Thanks!
Epic and awesome still pictures for this weeks vlog. Brilliant! Bring the noise!
This is good video! What are the names of the songs used?
That ride footage is some of your best work! So good!
Thanks man 🙏 stoked you liked it

The M-Frames are Oakley’s greatest glasses of all time.
Wow Eric, what a video! Enjoyed it a lot, good mix with your storytelling and an amazing drone shot on the gravel road through the trees. Keep ist up!
Awesome guys!!!🤩 Hugs from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Always a pleasure to watch the videos! Great work.
Awesome, thank you 🙏 stoked you dig them
Absolutely! Keep up the good work behind the computer and in the pool, on the bike and in running shoes 😁
I may have missed it but can you post the gear you guys use for the hike up with skis? skis? Boots? Skins? Love the video!
We use skins on touring skis and occasionally have to boot pack certain steep sections. We stay mostly in-bounds. I hope that answers your question :)
Using the "Lighter Fluid" method of seating tire beads is much more exciting!
New follower from Spain 🇪🇸 👌
Alright! Welcome!

haha sorry!? Have fun :)
Great video as always. Keep them coming. You're very talented, Eric!
Thanks Kate! Will do
Amazing
Another great episode. Thanks Eric and Paula!
Our pleasure, thanks for watching :)
Great bike session. Love it!
Great work guys 👌
TTL tri team would be dope. Ambassadors/ people to rep your gear more at events. I'm ready to help organize!!!!
We’ve talked about it a lot. I think next year might be the year
Amazing video !!! Paula I love your earrings!! Where did you get them ?
I bought them for her in Canmore at a little shop on main street
Another awesome video!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
So about those zwift mats. Level 50 unlock or how do you get your hands on em? 🧐
Haha we got them from Zwift.. I just assumed they were available for purchase

great video!
Can you talk more about how to get into backcountry skiing?
If we get another good snow day, yeah! It's been super icy lately
TTL cycle kit 👀
5:16, a castelli TTL edition? Sounds good! 😁
🤘
That was scary between the trees (drone footage)
Great video! Which compressor are you using when changing the sealant at the end?
Thanks! In this video I was using the shimano PRO air chamber

What are you using more often for a Workout on zwift and why, the Erg mode oder free ride?
Hey Eric, I spied Castelli TTL jerseys this morning. Have you set a drop date?
Working to have them in March 👍
Whatcha drinkin there Eric at 11:42!? Wild Turkey!🥃🥃
Perfect Manhattan made with Broken Top Whiskey

Who is operating the drone??
How does one get a pinch flat with a tubeless tire setup?
Only thing I can think is if the pressure is too low the rim can slice the tire sidewall.
Yep, this. We’ve got lava rock mixed in to our gravel roads and trails and I’ve sliced right through tires
Classic. Snowboarder forgetting the poles... (coming from a fellow snowboarder and wife that gives my husband shit for forgetting to load my gear. LOL)
😂
Pretty sure you guys are singlehandedly responsible for all the skiing FOMO I am having this year.
😬 sorry!
wow you guys need to dance some salsa before going skiing! You got to loose those hips and knees!
Hey guys do you need to pay if dont use the chairlift??
Nope, definitely not
I keep forgetting Paula is Canadian and then she saying something like, "It's 13°C but sunny" ....in a perfect American accent.
Who said “that triathlon REAL life”? 😂
100% Linsey
Great video, per usual!
Thank you! Cheers!
