@@letsif IDK if you've ever been to nyc, but I find It'll be almost impossible to trap a cyclist in Manhattan. Radio ahead only works if you know where the perp is heading, i.e, perp is heading west bound on 23rd street. But by the time you say that he is heading north on 5th ave, then heading east on 42nd. All I'm saying is It will be hard. If you think cops can coordinate that well, then color me surprised. I think it's wasted effort.
@@nikolairose2739 Their going in a straight line. So, easy to block.
@@letsif Don't forget you are watching a video, after the event. How would the police know that they will be going straight?
Awesome video !
Would be even more amazing if we could have a speedometer !
As much as I love cycling I just can’t watch reckless people hurting other people. You can give any excuse you want about the sport and you can be mad about this message but the truth is. Someone got hurt bad at that speed. What if it’s a baby or a kid or a pregnant woman? Y’all praising this kind of races as normal until someone die.
no one is saying this is normal lmao. I as an average cycling viewer, think this is wild. I think they know it too.
@@nikolairose2739 These UA-camrs are normalizing it by posting this content and not even commenting on the crash. I like these videos too but responsibility needs to be taken
(Sorry for my english, i've used google translate) Ok to go full speed between the cars, ok to go to a red light ... but still yelling at the pedestrians and cutting them off at this speed is really nonsense ... People have died here at Paris, overthrown by scooters that were slower than you ... Yes I did say dead. I love this practice, and this video is crazy but way too dangerous for pedestrians
People died from scooters??? 😂
We need crash updates man. That was fing wild. The commenters will be all over that
was that him screaming????
@@boli2016 yes
@@boli2016 they hit a pedestrian that's not a male voice
Reckless actions at the end…but great vid though 😂
I was enjoying the video until I had to see that and then there was no comment on the crash at all... not cool
Hi!
Very cool walks.
A beautiful city.
Thanks for the video!
What a nightmare! An accident waiting to happen and it did.
Yall should all be arrested for the number of traffic laws broken, putting pedestrians in danger, and the fact this makes cycling less respected by others putting everyone at risk.
What happened to the pedestrian? Im guessing they definitely broke something
So much adrenalin , but i will not manage to keep it up with you guys . Absolutely amazing video and race.
lol @ the dude with brakes who appears to understand the basic race strat of drafting. you sir, are an outlaw in a world full of rebels.
Your whistle scared me lmao
Dude, this was unnecessary, you all could just have done that in a safer way
Come race it next year and show us how
@@TerryB hahaha lol. What I mean by safe is doing it in a crit that has less cars and people around.
@@TerryB That's not at all what he's saying you fucking clown. I've raced competitively before - you're legit going to harm/kill someone someday at this rate.
@@TerryB Maybe this year you'll cycle following laws and not almost kill an innocent person. Absolute tools like you are putting us cyclists to shame.
@@TerryB Nobody needs to come there and show you. Use your reason. There are ways to race without putting pedestrians at risk or getting drivers jailed after they send you flying. Oh, what could those ways be? You are the reason people hate cyclists, mate.
the breathing is the best part
I'd be curious to see you average power through this. I bet it wouldn't be far off from a moderate cat 3 crit.
props to the camera man who's running while simultaneously filming the race
What is this Tour de France People are talking about? THIS is the real Shit!!!
Great race !
omg the sign at 30:01
I'm so fuckin done 😂😂
12:22 a sardana, ancient music of Catalonia, plays in the background. Yep!
What happened at the crash?
Alternate title: A race of self-entitled cyclists overtaking cars down New York's most famous street.
hypnotic , raw footage as always Terry. Incredible riding including all of the participants and main group! bigup yo
37:01 what happened there? i mean i get that the guy crashed, but any idea how exaclty it happened?
My guess is that he hit a pedestrian.
I don’t understand why you guys think it’s okay to put other people in danger just to have a race. If you had two more wheels you’d all be in jail riding/driving that way. Find a place that doesn’t put others in danger. This is ridiculous
YEOOO I WAS WAITING FOR THE ALLEZOPI sign
crossing every red light, dangerous situations anytime. I hope they won't hurt anyone.
These guys are nuts! 😂 Did i see a damn pexie? 😂😂😂
I got out of breath watching that climb 06:30
Who's watching this after reading windbreaker?
no wonder you implement guidelines for this. how rude and egoistic bikers can be (on the road!) just blows my mind.
Trauma surgeon’s fever dream right here
what happened to the crashed pedestrian? do you even know? or care? do you feel with someone when you hear a terrible scresm of pain and fear like that?
4:58 That dude in green, he's like literally gone in seconds ... crazy!
Winner, first Place
Why don't these dudes race early in the morning when there's less traffic?
traffic is part of it, sometimes large races are deliberately done during rush hour, its part of the culture
NY rider energy is unmatched!
And if one day you run over a child? Do you realize how dangerous this is what you do? I also go by fixie, in my case through Barcelona and I would never think it would happen to circulate like this. If you crash with a car then yourself (it hurts) but if you run over someone what? Could you live with it? Here this year 4 people have already died run over by bicycles or electric scooters. You don't live alone
electric scooters, now theres the problem
how do u guys ride that fast for that long?
wtf All traffic lights are red, but no brake 😂 high skills
or plain stupidness
Did you use a DJI Osmo Pocket on a stem? I'ts so smooth!
This is absolutely disgusting behaviour. You're getting into many near accidents with cars, cyclists, and pedestrians, and running lights and weaving around like jackasses. And at the end, some innocent person just trying to lawfully cross the street got hit.
never seen so many traffic violations in one video
Wow, these guys make SAFA Brian look like a saint.
Was thinking the exact same thing haha
Check out safa’s first vids on his channel from years ago it’ll change your mind. Guy’s flying through Mexico’s highways traffic on a descent… and a fixed gear bike… supertucking
Runner here. I just started cycling. This is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen!!!
second half of that race was SWEATY!
30:04 In New York there's always someone being cheeky.
11:20 yea.. open that door all the way
The driver looked before opening that door too.
🚀🚴♂️What a battle man ⭐🚴♂️
