Greetings Decino, very interesting "behind the scene" playthrough. From a casual player viewer, the tension of the discovery and your adaptability are great compensation for the lack of "perfection" in the run. And 20 minutes of Decino are always better than 5. A must for the eventually upcoming short episodes.

Im glad to have found this blind run. It definitely helped me greatly with how you found the secrets and all the monster closets. Even with other wads made by other creators seeing how most hide things is very useful. Seeing you do 100% kills 100% secrets has brought a new life to my folders full of wad files I've accumulated through the years. I've been currently messing with trying to do all kills and secrets with TNT.WAD on UV. Let's just say I wouldn't want anyone to see my LMP's right now, not that I'd be saving any at this point anyhow.

The blind run was great! The unknown element adds tension to the run and adds some real kick to the video. I enjoy the practiced runs, but going into every fight knowing you’ll be fully prepared and ready means there’s no tension. That 5:51 moment when you were backed into a corner and survived with a double kill on hell knights was pure gold.

It is surprisingly refreshing to see you struggle and panic in a blind run. I understand that video editing can be (and usually is) a time consuming process, however, I'd like to propose an idea that may provide us with both your blind and practiced runs. What if you uploaded your blind runs, in case you finish them on the first try, but also keep them even if you fail them, so that you can show us the "screw-up moment of the day" in the proper run?
    Example:
Let us say that you died on (4:25). However, your next run was a successful one. What if you added a small window in the corner of the screen showing screw-up right after finishing said moment, just to show us your initial reaction? That way we get to see the "highlight" of the failed blind run without you having to redo it (which would be, you know, kind of impossible).
    What do you think?
EDIT: And I know blind runs have their drawbacks - since you don't know the level, you have to explore, and that also means you have to wall-hump the living heck out of the walls, waste rockets on insignificant fights and then shotgun two Arch-viles to death for like two centuries, and such. That's why I don't think you should even abandon practiced runs, but those blind ones are nice in case of spicing things up from time to time.

Solid stuff. Generally inclined towards the Master Plan runs, even when things go a bit awry like in the prior mega map, as it seems to better foster the overall analysis and Moments of Appreciation---but this definitely worked well enough bringing some improvisation into the mix especially for a shorter level like this one.

Though the way some secrets get designed, finding them all by then doesn't always work since some get locked out from being accessed if a map has a point of no return.

you say it ;D, really this secret uncovering part of this blind play-through was GREAT!
imagine this would become a new thing for the Doom-Community.
Moders build crazy maps with much secrets, where you have to figure them out to exit the map!
Its like Portal but not abut portal-puzzle, but about interesting designed area-secrets & how to figure them out,
plus maybe some rocket action with power ups, so to get to some places you have to stack up to survive some necessary rockets jumps,
that would be Doom-puzzle! Pacifistic runs are already a thing, so why not to play in a full puzzle oriented way, with adding traps & so,
that would be really interesting to watch if i think about! but surly very hard to make interesting and fresh maps in a big number,
and also the charm would be heavily limited to the first try, because the figuring out is the game-fun,
so if you figured out how to to do the secret path, its then hardly to re-gain this experience, but even then it could be more
focused on beauty of the map & if not any longer concerned about monster-placement and the shooting action,
but only the movement and secrets.

It IS possible to grab the Soul Sphere with a tricky strafe-run from the 2nd step of those stairs. That's how I've got it. The official way is a bit too cryptic. It's fine to have a switch that has a hidden purpose, but in this case the dots are a just a bit too far away for the brain to connect.

Blind run is cool. I also got stumped at the last secret.

After Anagnorisis this had to be a breather level regardless of its contents - but we got a special peak under the hood. :)

If you play continuously, it's an even bigger breather because you get to keep everything from Anagnorisis instead of getting another forced pistol start.

A First Demo Attempt. Interesting change to the format of the previous videos. And yeah speaking of long levels, 19 is coming up soon!

Really liked "the first time play". And what a beautiful design. Maybe you already answered this: why you never check the map? Even when you´re lost

@@decino no, I mean, you almost NEVER check the maps. In all the series I've seen, you rarely do that. Not a bad thing, just curious

Should the lights at the beginning room blink like this? Deserves an epilepsy warning or something

Decino, I need to translate his answer. For some reason this individual is offended because me not suffering from epilepsy say that those light could be a problem. Also he thinks I'm showing off and saying this in a very rude manner. I don't think I should really pay attention to him, but keep in mind he may bother someone else

I know what he said. There's always bad or offensive stuff to read online. People need to learn that comments like that are purposely hurtful to get a reaction out of them. Best is to learn how to ignore it.

@@decino You know, in any other place I would make him eat his words. But the local community is nice and peaceful, and I just don't want to ruin the comfy atmosphere because of some random stranger

@@alicetretyakova3971 I gotcha. Ignore and they'll stay away. I don't wanna play policeman and discuss with viewers which comments are offensive or not. Being offended is always subjective. 99% of the comments are nice anyway, the other 1% are epic trolls. The only comments I remove are mostly spammy ones. If I notice a certain viewer keeps posting low quality, low effort, vulgar comments I block them, but that's a last resort.

Yeah, I think it's intentional -- I'm pretty sure they used some Boom feature where textures can scroll vertically very quickly. Nonetheless, yeah, it's a bit much for some folks
