This is one of the few bands that actually doesn’t have a song that is bad at all.
BB always finds a way to be catchy with the instruments and the melody choices, an underrated band that i think doesnt have a bad song is dangerkids

Tell Ben I've been a massive, massive fan since 2004. My favourite band; went to Download 2016 just to see them, have had their emblem tattooed since 2014, and that they've gotten me through some shit times but also really great ones too. Please lol

Interesting coincidence is that it seems like every person that I take to a concert to introduce them to hard rock/metal i end up taking them to see Breaking Benjamin. It is never planned that way but they just happen to be coming to town at that time. I call them the gateway band.

Love this band since ‘06. They won me over with “Diary of Jane” and the rest is history. Dope reaction lady.
Breaking Benjamin is the on band that helped me through middle school to high school with most of my depression and kept me pushing

Nobody's talking about the fact that bb is one of the very few bands that have NO BAD SONGS . It takes true talent, dedication, taste and hard work to pull that off
In 2011 BB was already old-school. Im 51 so I knew them since day 1. They really dont make bad songs.

I saw BB once, with Five Finger Death Punch. At that show, Ben had a cold, and Ivan Moody had an injured ankle, but both still threw down, no holding back. True rockers! Great reaction, Kitty! 🤘👍🤘

I feel like them and Chevelle switched places Chevelle was huge when WWN came out in 02 and BB was still kinda under the radar and as Chevelle stayed to their roots and eventually got heavier I felt people stopped listening to them whereas when Phobia hit in 06 TDOJ was EVERYWHERE and they just went up (in popularity) from there

Ah, Breaking Benjamin. One of my favorite bands from my edgy high schooler days that still holds up.
It's nice to put on a band you haven't listened to in years and find you can still sing just about every song word for word once you get back in the groove.

Fun fact* about "Anthem Of The Angels", it was written by Benjamin Burnley about his own grandfather, and the experience of seeing and interacting with him in the hospital. If I'm not mistaken, it also involves the aftermath, at least hospital-wise, because some parts of the lyrics do sort of lean into the experience of coming into the room to find that your loved one has passed away. I could be wrong about that part, but the lyrics do point that way.

The cool thing about Breaking Benjamin is every one of their songs gives me the same distinct feeling I only get from them

Tonally, I find this track to be a long the lines of "So Cold", because anyone can listen to it and become initiated into the alt/metal scene (or at least genre), and not even realize. If we could get someone on from this song, and then gradually introduce them into more and more hard core Breaking Benjamin songs, at least totally and vocally, we could probably get a bunch of converts.
