Gucci is what poor people think rich people wear. This is just what I’ve heard, though at McDonald’s did have a coworker who saved for Gucci things. Make of that what you will.

@@sreejamalka2863cause that's how all luxury goods work lol. They're not expensive because they're expensive for produce. They're expensive because people will pay money to signal they're rich.
Like Walmart socks and Gucci socks are often made in the same factory, one just has the Gucci logo on it and a single pair costs 70$. That's just an example I made up off the top of my head, but that is how it works a lot of the time.

@@user-lp5wb2rb3v personally I paying for the quality. There is a big difference in the durability and craftsmanship that goes into a luxury bag. On the other hand I am messy and would rather trash a cheap bag and buy a new one but my luxury ones are safe and saved for special occasions

@@ronjavonessen what OP wants to say is basically another corporation who sells a basic generic product and raises the price just based on their MARKETING and mostly targeting the female customers.
Basically brands like Gucci, Prada, LV, Apple, etc
like the cost to make a top of the line iPhone is around $300-$400, but Apple charges $1100 or more for it while lagging way behind it's Android counterparts in features.
That is basically how most "LIFESTYLE" brands operate. You buy them mostly for SHOW OFF and not actually any value they add to your life.

I learned it back in 2018. So many bags have long straps. There is a Chanel belt bag but could only fit just your card and lipstick. But what I did was use my small classic bag and now it fits more stuffs than wasting money on the belt bag that is absolutely tiny, just for fashion or a belt styling if you do not want to carry much. Personally, the Chanel belt bags are absolutely more of a go-to look that you can wear with a coat because most coats have pockets, so you have cash and your phone in your pocket and the belt bag is more of a fashion statement and just place the tiny stuffs you need (cards, lipstick, small scrunchies, etc.)
I have a mini ‘80’s Chanel, which was one of the first bags that Karl made when he came to Chanel. It worked a lot like this though the chain came through holes on the top of the flap. I wore it as a crossbody before cross bodies were ever heard of. R.I.P Karl. We miss you (and your sunglasses and beautiful fans ;))

It really is a key chain. You have to have a vet tiny waist to wear it as a belt bag. Gucci now makes Marmont belt bags so that you don't ruin your Supermini.

Most small bags can do that... no matter the price. Mine literally has an extra pearl chain for if I wanted to wear it small and it was 14$. If anything, having to cross it multiple times looks ugly and cheap.

okay i don't care what feminazis come for me, i LOVE it when a man who is straight can tell me how to wear clothes better than I can. Makes my whole damned day. At the end of the day, I wear clothes to feel confident and pretty but I also do it for my husband so he can enjoy me the way I look knowing I put in effort for him. So when he helps me out and tells me that he prefers shorter earing, or stockings under shorts or long boho maxi dresses on me or the color black for lingerie, makes me thrilled knowing we've picked out something we both like together and i can stroll around feeling confident, sexy and knowing my hubby is happy to :)
