  • In part one of this Series the long title being My childhood Trauma when triggered is like the Fire from a Dragon Burning my Present to Ashes in My Mind I talk about early Trauma and how it has impacted me unexpectedly from time to time .
In no way am I an expert on this topic. This is just how what I find traumatic has impacted me. Everyone is different and most certainly others have experienced worse trauma during childhood.
I will talk about this a little more in part 2.#childhood trauma #alcoholabuse

Oh my goodness. You don't need to edit. It takes a lot of mental courage to discuss such personal experiences on a public platform. My childhood PTSD was triggered just this past Monday. It was triggered in a setting where I least expected it to happen. I have been trying to flush out the memories that randomly came back over the 24 plus hours. It breaks my heart to hear you referencing your own family members, and your isolation issues for whichever reason. It's hard dealing with other people's commentaries and judgements. Just know it takes a strong gal to do what you are doing. I stumbled upon your video by accident. Recent events give me pause to realize there are many amongst us who carry our tiny childhood suitcases filled with "dragon" memories that will not leave our sides until our journeys are completed. It's a matter of finding the strength to carry on each day anew. Thank you for taking the time to share snippets. I know you could fill several books' worth.

@@andreasaller535 Thank you… I didn’t realize how hard it was seeing the response I am having. At the same time there will be more . I have always believed there is a reason for everything. My hope for sharing this is that there are others out there who will find comfort in not feeling alone. Like you find this at the right time.
As continue this series I hope it will give others particularly younger people strategies to cope with their own traumas. Everyone has different experiences and life is filled with traumatic experiences or moments. It’s how we navigate it both when it occurs and when the dragon has its flames fanned. Most often in unexpected ways.
