About that Chinese theory we have something similar to ig in Arabic culture :) women should wear socks and drink cinnamon and ginger to keep to their body warm during the menstrual cycle, although it's 100 degree in our region but its a must. It really minimize the pain and helps with blood flow. You will see your eyes shine or glow. note: English is not my mother tongue. If I made a mistake please just type the correct form of it kindly

I live in Florida we have one week of cold 😞 I hate living here but my husband was born here and I do like going to the beach once a week so I have to make all of my fall comforts inside my apartment.

I watched this video while making potato stew and roasted pumpkin and I stopped to quickly put cosy socks on (the best ones, handknitted by grandma 😊).
Nothing is wrong with wearing 5 year old shorts. This planet has too many clothes that it's running out of space to put them, they're being shipped to poorer countries. It's possible to live a soft life without being so materialistic. Wearing what you already have is most sustainable, especially if nothing is wrong with the clothing.
I don’t think Jillz was dissing anyone who wears 5 year old shorts, we all have a few pairs of those in our dresser drawers. She’s saying to have one nice pair of comfy cozy PJs for yourself as a self care step to nurture yourself. I’ve actually gotten quite a few pairs of high quality comfy PJs from thrift stores in my area, so there is absolutely a way to “not be so materialistic” and still be sustainable in shopping while treating yourself to a few nicer things.
You can do both, if you enjoy your career and feel like it’s a good place for you to be then do it. UA-cam is also a job/ career. People also have individual needs and some people can handle stress better than others. Working is a good thing as long as it’s not too stressful. Just my thoughts although you didn’t ask me ~
