I have been in Bogota many times, great place to visit for a week or two. Not sure about living there. I would prefer the outskirts of the city such as Cajica where the quality of life is much better. If you go there make sure to visit Andres Carne de Res if you like steaks.
Its very grey, the sun never comes out, everyone is angry because everyone hates the jobs they are able to get, traffic is hell. Only good if you are into dining, shopping, in a fraction of the city. Don't do it

And he''s totally out of touch with his audience - talking about DN's earning $150-$200K a year. Bro, most DN's don't earn that, most DN's live in hostel dorms. If someone WAS earning $200K/year, they could like in luxury in most countries in the world. He talks about Carulla (super-market) - I can tell you from personal experience that it is VERY expensive - most things there cost much more than the UK (where I am from). He talks about opening a Colombia bank account, as if you can just walk into a bank and open an account. Nope! You need a long--term visa for which you need a lawyer and lots of red-tape, then you can get a "Cedula por extranjeros" (ID card for foreigners) which will allow you to open a local bank account. He talks about how to not be a tax resident in Colombia by simply staying less than 183 days/year - guess what? Most countries have that rule. It's not unique to Colombia. Oh, and he totally fails to mention the crime situation. It's so common to have your phone robbed in broad daylight that many people (including myself) carry an old phone in public in the event of someone sticking a gun to our face.
I've been retired living here in Cuernavaca Morelos Mexico for many years. Im wondering what would Bogota Colombia give me that I couldn't get where I already am? I pay about $400 USD for a 2 bedroom furnished apartment here.

Colombians were jeans in every city that isn’t the beach-that helps blend in. I don’t think you’d have major security concerns given your physical stature. There is an estimated one million Black people in Bogota. In all of Colombia, you would not seem out of place for your color. But height and weight yes. But those are things that would presumably make you a lesser target. Racism here is so different than in the USA, its almost too difficult to explain. I think your security concerns would be similar to other foreigners, if not a bit improved from gringos. Being careful, being in the right places at the right times. And seemingly, so much petty crime is pretty random. I feel quite safe here the two years I have been here in a smaller city.

Bogota's murder rate is half the level of Philadelphia. Half. Petty street crime is much more common in the bad areas, but in the good areas where rent is $600pm or more, its safer than most US cities. Skin color is kind of irrelevant here as so few black people, I've never seen racism in anyone under 50.

On the other hand, the digital nomad visa is easy to get, if you have income and health insurance. Some people had success opening a bank account just with your passport - but you need a good reason for it. Even with a cedula (id card) and a migration visa, Bancolombia made problems for opening a bank account as I have no income from Colombia. Looking forward to my citizenship...
