0:57 the fact that truck got that close to the DC car without hitting it is crazy
you can hear the relief in his voice
@@EpicCorn0yeah the little laugh was probably just relief and shock.
Brilliant ! He knows it too ! xoxox
I had one of those once. Mate and I both braced for a tailspin impact. I don't know how but I pulled at just the right moment on the wheel and it was as close as that. Poor old mate in the passenger seat told me later there people at a nearby bus stop watching and OMG :O as it happened because they were expecting the smack too.
(I was turning across a broad intersection and it looked fine until a car came breezing at us full tilt)
The fact all 3 missed him, pause at 0:55 and you think there is no way he’s not getting hit 🤯
Bad drivers all round. Lack of skills. Lack of attention. Lack of awareness. Lack of care. Lack of patience.
common denominator....
All heavily vaccinated
Most of em are lack of attention and driving to fast. Or a combination of both of em
@@Raz0rking I always thought the same until I lived here where Thais (most stupid race ever encountered) can seem to ride with phone in 1 hand, ciggie between fingers and still safely navigate insane traffic.
....lack of brain cells.
That’s common. Even by the dashcam drivers.
Recording near misses, crashes sometimes they are involved in that they could have avoided but chose not to because the “I’m in the right” mentality.
the amount of ignored red lights is scary
Thinking the same thing myself..perhaps Aussies are colour blind?.
@@robarnold4104 probably some kind of colorblindness attack.
Likely immigrants. They don't need to take a test here and drive like shitheads in their own country
And here I thought it’s a third world problem. The amount of people running over a red light is just mindblowing. Maybe Aussies think RED lights are merely a suggestion instead of a command.
These videos must be faked.
Everyone knows that only cyclists jump red lights. 😁
This particular episode made me realise how much better roundabouts are than crossroads
thats not the problem at all. idiot countrys like america and australia are still not smart enough to place the lights in front of the junction instead after it.
even when watching the video i feel surprised everytime when there is a car coming from left or right(only if i look at the light trying to see if it is red or green.). you know why? because you got your eyes allready after the junction to see if it is green or red. human are only able to focusing at one point.
place the junction lights in front of it and crashes would go back in no time.
as long as this is not fixed roundabouts would not help at all....maybe a bit.
but the biggest problem is the bad placing from the lights.
5:10 that dog is a terrible driver
At least he looks regretful.
It was so calm😊😊
He look shifty af
I hope the dog was ok. No harness and belt, so could have been badly hurt and just not show it.
😂😂😂
26:35 "oh I can't see a thing, better overtake anyway"
definitely but also shows the main reason to turn your lights on in wet weather, its not so you can see its so you can be seen
Full scale plonker, that bloke.
Utterly moronic move.
I think he was following too close and thought he’d run up the back of the truck it he didn’t overtake. Still would have been better than a head on collision.
@@vokunmaarwolfe4783 Lets not victim blame...
I love how its gotten to the point where one accident now has multiple cameras filming from different angles, lets go!
Exactly! It gives a way better look over the situation!
Action Replay
The verbal responses by the drivers to being hit is pure comedy gold. Love Australians!
It’s great that there are so many people using dashcams, we are starting to see multiple angles of the same crash.
It’s fucking fantastic! Not the accidents but seeing it from different angles.
Yeah but i have a dash cam because I'm worried about everyone elses driving. Half these drongos are the cause of the accident and still send in the vids
They also choose to cause accidents because they have dashcams though. E.g. 19:20
@@metalgear292 Yeah, that was a dick move, could've easily throttled off
Was just thinking that too
literally GTA, stolen cars, running reds, driving over pedestrians, collapsing street lamps, this compilation was wild.
Was going to say that this looks like the GTA edition!
@@stevie-ray2020 Was thinking of Final Destination until much later in the videos, I changed my mind.
Not literally.
People are driving better in GTA 😂
Too many dumb drivers.
My faith in humanity takes a nosedive every time I watch these clips.
you could prevent a lot of accidents if the lights would be placed in front of the junction instead behind it.
i never drove on american or aussie roads. but even when watching the video i miss the car coming from the side all the time because my eye is focusing on the streetlight after the junction. the attention is somehow behind the junction instead at the location of the real important things.
in switzerland you pass the greenlight way before the junction. after passing the light you can pay full attention to the junction(traffic from left/right.)
i allways ask myself how stupid it is to drive like this with the lights behind the junction.
15:25 That camry was doing at least 100 in the 60 zone in the inside lane.
If you watch it slowly, when the DC car turns in, the camry hasn't even passed the 4wd but is approaching it fast.
Then you add in the time the skid goes for and the speed it was carrying when it hit it.
Was thinking the exact same thing
Yep , that what it was , the boy hero trying to be cool only to find that it’s gonna cost him
When I was learning to drive, my dad would often say "this guy doesn't know what he is doing, let's just give him space to figure it out".
These wise words come to mind throughout many of these videos - if you don't understand what the guy in front is up to, better to wait until everything becomes clearer...
No. It's my lane and if you want to take it from me then I'll meet you on the side of the road.
The 2 I heard a lot whilst learning to driver were It's no use being right if you're dead right, and give way to your right and the dick head on the left.
My grandfather always says, you don’t just drive your car but theirs too
And I always teach my wife, this guy doesn’t know what’s he’s doing, let’s wait in his blind spot, it’s an opportunity for insurance claim.
Its better to have the idiot in front so you can see what they are doing

I came here for this comment!!! Holy smokes, they saved that kids life! Mtfkr ran the red light!
5:50 Lights are out and you've gone full barrel into the intersection, sped up from 60-69kmh. Genius.
Adding “car is suddenly pulling to the left, might be about to pull a quick u-turn” to my defensive driving skills list.
I've seen that happen many times in videos and a couple of times in real life.
I had one once were the woman indicated left, pulled over, stopped, put on right indicator, then waited till I was right beside her to start her u-turn, thought for sure she had seen me, the road was wide enough that she could have done a rolling u-turn.

Pretty sure he still did a runner. I'm sure I remember seeing in the full clip that he walked away at the end without leaving details.

@@Jack_WolfeIt works better if they brake, before they break their vehicles. 😅
@@Jack_WolfeI think you're on the money, mate.😂
16:36 Sending yourself into Dash cam Aus is a whole other ball park haha.
Madness. Not seeing the red light is one thing but not seeing the other car waiting at the red light as a clear indication to stop is another. Life time ban from driving that is.
Last one is a super example why you should turn on your lights when driving in rain and on these kind of roads.
It's also why you don't overtake unless you're absolutely certain it's safe
Incoming driver:
Put on your goddamn lights you complete and utter tool
And to the the idiot dash cam driver:
1. If pouring rain don’t overtake truck in front of you, getting someplace a bit later is better than not getting there at all
2. Don’t overtake in those conditions with a trailer (can’t see don’t overtake)
3. And even though it doesn’t show it, it was probably happening. Don’t follow so closely to a truck in any conditions let alone the pouring rain with limited visibility
19:41: was anyone else just a little bit disappointed that the Tesla wasn’t involved?..

That driver who ended up in the jungle was pretty funny.....
And not a local either - they'd know where and how fast you'd be able to take those corners without ending up down the embankment.
IIRC, there's another set of bends some 30min up the road where a dip compresses your suspension... That's a fun corner if you don't back off before entering...
Lucky when overtaking to not run into the oncoming bus, but when the video continued you knew the luck for them had all been used up.

@@andreweaston7695 I think the point was he sounded legit concerned, as opposed to the guy at 7:00, whose first instinct was to try and escape, then realised his car was rooted, so did a runner instead, leaving the passenger in the car.

Here's a tip: If you can't see what's coming, DON'T pull out and if you CAN'T see a two tonne object moving on the road hand in your licence.
Agreed, but in the last clip the oncoming guy was driving in the rain without his headlights on which greatly contributed to that brutal wreck. Still the cammer should have been more careful and perhaps not tried to pass in such conditions.
Here is another tip: if you drive a black car you should ALWAYS have your lights on.
@@rogerwagner6940 Yes i agree and maybe if the cars grey as well
@@krissimons1339 This is true and yes you should always drive to the conditions. Overtaking on single lane roads in the rain is never a good idea.
There is a road with a give way sign that I drive on a lot, and the oncoming cars are blocked by a huge brick wall, so i literally just have to go and hope. At night at least you can go based on seeing headlights but during day time its really hard. And sometimes pulling out of places, there are cars parked on the side of the road that block your view so you cant see what’s coming until you’re already in the road, just slowly inching forward
That last clip is why I ALWAYS drive with my headlights on.
So many of our turns are blind corners. I'm a delivery driver in the Brisbane area, and there are a lot of places where you literaly have to be IN THE ROAD to see if anyone's coming. I'm certain it has caused numerous accidents, especially in low visibility times like at night and/or when it's raining.
I swear there are roads all over the world that are designed to cause crashes.

@7:25 so let me get this straight, he crashes, tries to drive away, realises he can't so he just... walks away and leaves his passenger in the car? what a dog act.
Looking at it from a more positive perspective:
Causes a crash, triggers a flight response, comes in time by senses (or due to passenger), and then takes some distance to cool off before going to talks. If they really wanted to get away, they would not just walk.
Very likely a stolen car.
@@gregschmidt62 or drunk / drugged up
I was thinking the same. That car could have burst into flames at any second and he leaves his passenger to fend for themself. Classy.
I'm not defending him but the passenger seems grown up enough to take her own desicion :) if she has 0 situational awareness that's not his fault. I actually blamed them both for not leaving the car quicker.
I love the videos where we get the same crash from 2 different cams. This one is a real treat because there was 2 this time!
I see an entire episode of one accident edited with the clips from 10 front and rear cams of cars nearby.

Very good video! You have a new subscriber from the USA! Thank you
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Here's a tip from courteous, well-trained drivers in other countries like Germany (and I've seen professional Australian truck drivers also do it here). If you're the last in line of traffic that has slowed or come to a stop on a motorway or similar, turn your hazard lights on. Could just wake up the (potentially distracted) driver behind you enough to pay attention and avoid running up the back of you. Avoiding a crash saves a lot of inconvenience (and potential injuries) for everyone!
Yep, thanks to these dashcam videos I do that any time I'm stopped on a high speed road.
I usually pump my brakes rapidly to get attention when slow or stopped with cars approaching.
That's a great tip, thanks OP! I will start to do that
Yep always. I was lucky enough to be a coach driver in Europe for 8 -10 years trained by contiki . Very rigorous and intense training as we were mostly young 20 somethings. Bides well for life back in NZ and now Aus. Also my lights are always on day or night .
@@LuciferMorningstarDanny Same with me for the daytime lights on. Unfortunately turning the lights on manually in a Tesla is not as straightforward as in other cars (it's tucked away in a menu) but I do it anyway - it's just part of "putting the car in drive" for me now.
I wish they would give us an option to just have them always on.

He sped up when he had ample time to slow down on said yellow - and - you must attempt to break at a sight of a possible collision, so as to do your maximum to either avoid the collision or lessen it's impact. Said "okay" and made absolutely no attempt to break. Any insurance company that views this video would see he broke 2 road laws in the lead up to the collision and place a big part, if not all, of the blame on him. Road laws must be followed at all times.
@@TopFix Very clearly said "okay" to the blue car before the ute pulled out and he collided with said ute.
@@edenbeechey2037 No he didn't, he clearly said "okay" as in "okay so this is about to really happen" aka, "this guy is actually going to turn into me". He broke 2 road laws, didn't slow down on a yellow despite ample time and also did not attempt to break when he could've. Any insurance company that views that would place part of, or all of the blame on him.
23:38 I feel bad for that nissan itself man
The stoplight at 20:20 was like "Did you think I forget about you?" xd
20:20 I must continue my duty! I dont know why, but the way the traffic light snaps back has me dying.
More like: "Oi! You guys! STOP! Don't worry what these guys are doing."
23:36 - "Street King" lol. Evidently their coronation came from a cereal box.
poor car, its life didn’t have to end there.
Looks like they already had an accident with those repairs, but what are the odds they would crash into another P plater.
if anyone sees that dude, remind him that he now has to change his number plate.
@@brucewillis542 It must be particularly embarrasing getting into such a stupid crash when you're running around with such a stupid (and demonstrably false) rego plate.
"ST" actually refers to a turbo Skyline. Ie, 'R33 GTS-T'. Or he could be going for street king, who knows... regardless, he deserves a slow clap
As a Sydneysider, I am so fucking sick of these huge trucks driving two inches off the cars in front. Yes, there’s a lot more infrastructure being built than even a few years ago, but most of the drivers are utterly appalling, far too aggressive and always in a hurry.
6:28 can we just admire how the car here took almost no damage when it was hit? sturdy as hell that one.
As someone who works in smash repair, every time one of these videos comes out I'm a little more grateful to idiots keeping me in a job 😂
you're going to be a busy boy or girl with the way this country is churning out drivers.
There is a LOT of twisted metal this month!
Little work to do with the brutal write offs !
"Sir, the bad news is that you need a liver transplant immediately. The good news is that it's Friday night and it's raining."
As I vehicle accident accessor, you know Monday morning gonna be busy after weekend rain.
It's getting to the point that nearly even the dash cam owners need to have their licenses revoked immediately. 80% if not more of these were avoidable.
Yes, it seems so many here just love to pass judgement. I'm sure you've never done anything wrong in your life, mate.
Yeah it's clear they're not paying attention at all and just speeding into a crash
@@grooviechickie if that makes you feel better... Not the point of my post and you're just looking for a rise so here it is. Get over yourself and appreciate what I stated.
@@skyworm8006 Yes the defensive driving aspect seems or appears to be completely lost on some.
Easy to say as an armchair critic. You can see how some werent easily avoided if you watch a couple of times. It is disappointing how many people cant read the body language of idiots about to do a U turn though. But they have probably never seen it before.
Perfect video to watch right before my licensing test
Probably should show this all Learner drivers as mandatory!
26:50 Why you should have lights on, and why you don't overtake in low visibility
This channel reminds us that we have reached a new zenith in car safety technology, and a new nadir in driver skill.
Absolutely, so many of these could have been avoided with basic defensive driving skills.
Why does everyone have this fantasy that drivers in the past were better?
@@Cheepchipsable They weren't, there were just fewer of them to hit each other.
@@Cheepchipsable they/we were more scared of what happens to our bodies in a crash back then. less walking away occurred from +50kph crashes back then.
So many of these would have been fatalities with cars just a couple of decades older. With Darwinism overruled, driving standards are only going to get worse from here on.
18:55, had we not seen those plants fall DC driver may never have known.
Yea you can sorta see the car as the DC driver drives past, but if you weren't looking, you'd never notice. Lucky lucky crash driver. Not the first time someone would have crashed off the side of a road into bush and not be found for days or more
What an idiot. This entire episode should have been titled "drive to the conditions". If it's wet, it's slippery. Slow down - speed limits are not targets, especially not in the wet.
I’m in Devon. The village of bradninch near me had some awesome pictures … 🤗
