Okay so I watch all your videos I have been a 3rd gen Dodge guy all of my life I started off in the second gen and now I'm in love with the third Jen's I have two of them that run and one that I use for parts and today I'm driving my truck for my daily job and I'm watching your video and every time your truck would beat or ding as you were clearing codes and stuff I kept looking at my dash thinking I had a problem lol
I can afford a lot of things I don't buy. Only put credit on things that'll pay for themselves. The difference is a 90k truck won't pay for itself. It'll be something I have to pay for out of pocket. Can I afford 2k in payments a month? Yeah. Will it keep me from making money elsewhere? Also yeah. I'm good, man. Took me time to learn but this is the year to use debt to make money. Tired of paying cash for everything. Keep in mind a business making 10 to 15k a month can afford the payment but there's no need if all it's for is to prove it to the world. That's called ego buying and it keeps many people poor

Dang, I feel pretty lucky. When I had my 06 cummins, in the 7 years I owned it I never once had a check engine light or a fault code with 250k on the truck.
I don't think my last 06 ever had one. This one just loves giving them out 😂 It's all in how you take care of them. Dodge's get a bad name because they're just cheap enough the younger guys can own them. I'm going to do what it takes to reverse all the crap its' been through but it isn't going to be overnight. At least it doesn't leak oil anymore! 😅
@@CPSteveMiller exactly, I’m just wrapping up an engine build on an 06 that threw a rod because the guy just kept driving when he lost oil pressure 😳 maintenance is key, and as you’ve proved quality parts make a big difference as well although they aren’t cheap….

I only get community posts from a few channels and yours is not one of them. Not sure why. I personally love 2nd gen 12 valves for some reason. Maybe its simplicity and its like an old farm tractor. With that said I was looking at trucks and prices this week and 2nd gens are thru the roof. I would love a mint 12 valve but I've found 4th gen Laramies with under 100k cheaper than 12 valves with over 100k. So if I bought another truck it would probably be a 4th gen. I should probably buy a new cab for my low mile 12 valve.

I had a customer ask but it'll be 12k just for the parts including motor. Labor is 150 hours according to two separate vendors
