Thank you for helping a young woman like myself change my break pads, I wouldn’t of been able to learn how without this exact video because I’m also cheap I can’t afford to buy alot so for now I got my break pads, my snowflake (jeep Cherokee 2000 sport) hasn’t had them changed in years! And now she’s got new pretty breaks ❤❤ thank you
Awesome, I'm glad I could help. I would like to take a minute to tell you that Jesus loves you. Read John 3:16. & Accept his free gift of ever lasting life in in him,if you haven't already. It's way better than going to the other place. Never think you're too far gone ! Accept, confess & repent . No one is promised tomorrow! Jesus came to save us not to condemn us. Bless you 🙏 ♥️ Hope to see you in heaven.
Just a heads up @ 4:20 he compresses the pistons a C clamp. I recommend hitting the pistonnw/ some penetrating oil just to lube her up as well as use a 1x4 piece of wood or something to collapse it evenly & avoid damaging the piston, but most importantly especially if you have added brake fluid ad the brakes wore down & even if you didn't it helps to remove the cover for the master cylinder to relieve pressure especially if topped up w fluid you won't be able to compress the fluid so remove some before it runs over. Also a good opportunity to grease the zerks!
Great video, but just wanted to leave a little tip for future reference and I’m pretty sure this guy knows but he had the camera, but try not to ever let the caliper hang on with that break line. NEVER let it hang. You can leak out all the break fluid and even worst damage the break line. So just be cautious with the parts you’re working with. Farewell
So I have the same Jeep and about 4 years ago I changed my pads for the first time and I did not pay attention I put them on the wrong side and even manage to bolt it all up so tomorrow I'll be doing my brakes again finally and I will put them on correctly this time surprisingly enough they've worked fine for 4 years ass backwards got to love a Jeep
Brian Dedmon wow dude ! I can't believe you were able to bolt them on backwards. But hey you must have done something right they lasted 4 years . LOL. Well good luck doing your brakes again tomorrow. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for watching. And subscribe if you wish. I'll sub you back.

Good catch on the correct pad placement.

You are welcome ! Thanks for watching my channel.
Great video Thanks! I have to say tho that first pad you changed out looked like it had a good 5000 miles left on it though.

What size is the c clamp that you used?
8 in"
are the rear brakes not pads ?
I know most of the rears are drum brakes but some of them have discs if they bought that option.
