How can I see the engraved Zeiss logo? Does it need to be illuminated with specific light or I can see it in normal light?

Fantastic video! Mine just came in yesterday and I noticed that if look close enough under bright light, I can see both the Zeiss watermark and the double Z logo followed with "VI353". Do you know what the "VI353" means? "53" indicates that it is made of Trivex 1.53, which is correct. I just can't figure out what the "VI3" means. Thank you!

VI3 = ZEISS SmartLife Single Vision Individual 3 lens
53 = Trivex, Transitions, Polarized and NXT Sun Optics

Does the Zeiss logo stay on the lens or is that removed when the other markings are taken off? And if it can be removed, can it also be removed if you have a duravision coating on it?

Zeiss logo stays. It's a mark of authenticity. If the logo not there then it's not a Zeiss lens. Cool right? And don't worry about the logo mark it's doesn't affect the vision.
