Ah, you get the axle loads up on the dashboard (0:52), that's handy. Was a bus driver in Stockholm (Hornsberg) a few years in the 1990's. Buses going from Hornstull over Västerbron to Fridhemplan in the mornings was always jam packed and the Police suspected that they were heavily overloaded, so one morning they were standing with scales and everything on the last bridge from Västerbroplan towards Fridhemsplan. It takes a bit of time to get a bus up on the scales properly, the passengers quickly got impatient and one man said "No, I'm on my way to work, it is very important and I don't have time to wait for this", so he used the Emergency Opener for an Exit Door, pushed it open and went out, and so did almost everyone else. The bus was nearly empty when it finally came up on the scales.

Ofcourse I try all the solutions there is before calling for help in a situation like this 😂 Just because it's not in the video doesn't mean it didn't happen! Yes, I am aware of how to get un-stuck with a truck like this. Sometimes it just isn't enough! Yes, this is a pretty normal truck configuration for this kind of drive. Yes, we have tandem drive trucks here too. Yes, I have driven these kinds of trucks and drives for about 4 years. I know the procedure. No, my company won't buy a brand new tandem drive gravel truck just for this one single day drive. That would be crazy. Thanks!

yea, shit happens when going ''off road'' so to speak. Got stuck once driving down a fire access road meant to take weight of 32 ton fire truck, wait'ed for 2 hours for the recovery unimog, was stuck 10 meters from a traffic light on main road through a city called Næstved in Denmark at a home for seniors, lots of locals waving and snapping pics haha ;-). The groundskeeper was very nice and brought me and my buddy dinner, the next day he'd had called the company hired in the first place, and had them improve the road after we had ''tested'' it.
Great vid as usual. I do similar work but with an artic into horse sand schools. I usually get asked can you get it back as far as you can,and I always say as long as you've got something to pull me out. Usually the load (28.5 ton) is enough to push me forward to get going. I always on soft ground lock the trailer suspension out so the material wont get stuck under the underider bar and make the drives light. Last time I got stuck in a 6 axle artic,a 3ton mini digger gave me a tug, enough to get going! Stay safe.

Hi good video and you did all you could thumps up for that. But remember learn from others experience. I have driven many trucks in 15 year. And i tell you multilift aka hooklift truck is pretty much unstoppable. You must sink full truck in deep mud to need a some one others help to get unstuck. And yes what Jimmy Van Til told is troth You can bush your self out with your container. No need to dig with shovel. 1. You free the continent so it can roll off 2. you roll off contention until back end touches ground. 3 apply pressure bay continuing roll off the container. If you stuck little bit then this will bush you out. But when this seems not to move the truck. then now is time for step 4. engage lowest forward gear truck has and try to move forward at the same time keeping rolling off the container. let the weals turn to not worry about it. This way you can bush you truck forward about 4 to 5 meters. Then stop apply brakes drag continent back on and repeat until your out. This way i have never been stuck. And did get one other drivers truck unstuck who had broken all his downing ropes including steal on before i told this method. Every bit info you get helps learn it. And be exellent.
Anyone, no matter how experienced can get stuck. When I was young I used to help out on a farm near Swansea, Wales. One day I called in and Emrys wasn’t around. So I went looking and found him a mile away in his fields stuck with a TVO tractor up to its axles in mud, and utterly disheartened. So I suggested I go back to the farm and get the Fordson and some chains. He said...would you do that for me? Back I came, he chained the tractors together and bingo. I couldn’t do a thing wrong after that. I was a short 10 at the time. :)
Thx for the vid. The best thing that happened to me this year so far. Love your way of taking even unfortunate things easy. Continue the good work. And please please talk. It's so good to hear your voice.
Hi Kittn! I drive concrete mixers and pumps for a living and one thing came to my mind what you should consider places like this. Have you lifted the container high enough so that the load is pushing you and should the lift axle be lifted a bit or fully before you try to go forward? Ofcourse you shouldn't tip your truck over and that's why you need to look the surface how staright or bumpy it is so that you can estimate how much you can lift the singlewheel lift axle. And then few comforting words.. You are not the first person to get stuck with Scania. You will get used to it. ;) So make sure you always have your spade and tow chain with you.
If I can give you some advice here being a long time tipper driver. If you get in a situation like that, let the load push you out as it empties. If that doesn't work, picking up the lift axle will put more weight on the drive axle and diff lock will also help. Another thing that works is to rock the truck backwards and forwards to give yourself some run up room and then floor it! Alternatively tell the customer where you can tip which might be the same as where they want you to but might stop you getting stuck unnecessarily. Good work anyway
@@ji6050 how do you know both wheels bogged as you can only see one side? As to the rest of your comments your mouth is obviously bigger than your brain, I suspect your American and everyone in the world knows what a bunch of numbties you all are!

A golf cart would have gotten stuck in there. Stones were too thick. No traction whatsoever. I worked for a garbage company here in Alabama. Drove a roll off once in awhile. We had Mack's. Trucks like your's are usually in the scrap metal business here in the US.
In europe those "nose trucks" are to big. We don't have the room to have those extra meters. Also we have a max length of 16.30m with truck trailer of 18.00m with a truck with a wagon or 25.25m with truck dolly and trailer so we can not have a nose on the front
I work in road construction. I drive a tar/chipping spreader, but when I’m not doing that, I drive a 6x4 or 8x4 tipper. You are correct in your written comments. Normally, if a stable roadway is being built, soil will be removed, 0/150 will be put in and compacted, only then will finer chippings go in, like 6/10 or 10/14. So, unstable ground, plus your truck being a 6x2, it is no wonder that you got stuck. Is that a 500 badge on your Scania? That’s a lot of power for 26 tonnes!

We had a 200 foot driveway that would get our car stuck after every rain because there was so many mud holes . we poured a base of river stone then covered that and smoothed it over with gravel - never got stuck after that
It would be a 4x4 if it was meant for driving around at construction sites, or hauling heavy loads, like in Kiruna. What would've been better would be 4x4 that you engage when needed, so the truck only goes with 6x2 normally.
@@luckycharm5251 This was 2 deliveries total :) And this was the best truck available for the job ^^ I had a tandem drive truck at a previous job, was nice
It doesn't make a big difference with a twin drive axlea, when jou have only one axle driven you have more down pressure on the ground than with a twin. Also a twin driven truck uses more fuel the a single. But sins she have a hook truck she could pushed herself out with the hook arm. Maby when she had lifted her rear axle she had a bigger chance of getting out
@@TruckerCassie All you can do is drive what your given and when its not the best tool for the job and you get stuck as the odds were not in your favor in this situation, there isn't much you can do about it and I expect your boss realizes the short comings of that type of trucks ability. I was intently watching the drive tires since your tittle gave it away and yup ... down she goes LOL.
Subscribed, nice video. I have got stuck before so all good, it happens to all of us. At the end I saw that the suspension was risen and I think you should have done that first so all the weight was on the drive wheel plus you engage the diflock and force manual gear and pull out in first gear and very slowly. You want power/torque and not speed.
First time to watch your videos. this one was great. How long have you been driving trucks? What is the best truck you have worked with? Thanks for the video. (Mississippi gulf coast, USA)

You have really good videos. :) I cant understand why truck like that can be gravel truck. Axles up and there is no problem. We have 8x2 and 8x2*4 trucks and no problem. Sisu lifts axles up also when its loaded and that helps you alot.
Great video.. if there is a next time just put the truck in N and using your in cab controls act as if you were going to drop the bin and let it push you out :) stay safe and keep truckin
Hello my name's Stefano how many Times did you get stuck in sand by your truck ? I would Have liked to be' with tour passenger an help you put under the tires something
Razzorkittn, I've watched a few video's from yourself and a couple of others in Sweden and it just blows me away how the companies you drive for spec trucks with one drive axle for pulling trailers and expect it to perform in icy snowy conditions or like this example with soft ground. Its hard enough to deal with a 6x4 that has four way lockup depending on the situation and I know here in western Canada drivers would flip their lid to be supplied with a single drive axle truck. Do these single drive axle trucks have the ability to lock the differential at least ?
6x2 (wth diff lock) is the normal if you're not off road, even with 60+ ton truck and trailers. Steerable tag axle is pretty common. In slippery conditions you can lift the tag axle and get higher pressure on the drive axle and better traction. Works well.
@@lokis7230 Thank you for answering ( I assume you're from Sweden or northern Europe ) and so at least they are utilizing a diff lock then. As to lift axles or non powered axles on the rear of trucks is very uncommon in the area of Canada I am but do see that in eastern Canada and in the USA. In saying that there used to be straight trucks ( not pulling a trailer ) that were lighter duty that had a lift axle but they quit making them years ago due to no demand for such a unit because of going on soft ground and getting stuck. Same goes for super single tires as that is a rare thing here in this part of Alberta as they don't do as well as chained up duals in the mud nor on the highway on ice. Oil field and logging ( and farming which I do ) make up a lot of the truck traffic on the roads that are traveling on both paved and then gravel roads, bush roads ... and the mud and muskeg is where the oil field goes often !. In fact there are a lot of what we call tridrive trucks in the logging and oilfield industries here, that is basically a 8x6 so a non powered steer axle and then 3 powered drive axles which can be all locked up which you don't do for tight turns though !.
@@charlesb4267 you have to understand the difference in roads though, in Europe the roads are a lot smaller than the usa or Canada. The tritruck would not work in Europe because they would have a bigger turning circle. Also in Europe people are more thinking about the imfaierment and sins double driven trucks use more fuel they are not using it mutch.
@@larsmeijerink5471 I should have specified that the tridrive trucks are not a unit that would typically transport loads across North America, its more unique to this area of Canada due to the off the highway portions of their route for oilfield and forestry. Down in the southern states I have seen in trucking magazines and videos, single drive axle tandem tractors that have come on the market in the last few years in an attempt to reduce fuel consumption but its just not a concept that's valid up here with our conditions and lack of road maintenance on the highways. But I understand where your coming from with the reasons why its done differently in Europe and yes tridrive trucks do NOT turn a tight turn when loaded LOL. There was a time that quite a few cabovers were on the road over here in Canada but that went away years ago and rare to see in a highway tractor configuration ( but do see it for body job trucks such as a garbage truck etc ).
@@charlesb4267 we do have triple back axles in europe also but they most of the time have one drive axle and two steering axles or two drive axles and one steerable axle. The company I work for has trucks with 5 axles the two frond ones steer two behind that are drive axles and the last ons is steerable en liftable. Those trucks are used for asphalt and are aloud to weigh 50000kg. But the rest of the trucks and trailers are 2 axle trucks with 3 axle trailers (walking floors)
@@TruckerCassie That got me thinking, does this company or most of them for that matter pay you by the hours you are working in a day ( stuck or not ) or by the load etc ?. At least if you get paid by the hour it doesn't feel so bad to be sitting for a bit when the situation goes sideways .... or dowwwwn !
In 2014 i started play Euro truck simulator 2 and i drove in all Europe and specially Sweden and my favorite truck is Scania and my dream was to visit Sweden and drive trucks on it's roads and in 2017 the dream came true now I'm in Sweden for 2 years now but i didn't drive any truck yet i hope i can complete my dream.
Hi pretty lady, so you don't get a truck that only you use then, so which is your preference, and what sort of run's. Do you do long distance with over night stop's.
Don't know if I'm right but it looks like a 6x2*4 with tag axle steering, so yeah only 2WD there. If I'm not mistaking. You almost never see a hook lift with 4x4 unless it's from the army in Scandinavia. And in Europe f.ex they almost only have single axle tractors, while Scandinavia uses 2. But, remember, 2WD is probably more economic and it works fine in 99%? Of the times.
I drive with a truck and trailer (walking floor) and only one drive axle, I drive a lot on gravel roads and don't get stuck mutch. In Europe a tandem driven truck is most of the times to heavy and uses to mutch fuel so people don't use them much. A have a 4x2 truck and 3axle trailer with a max weight of 50000kg legally
Single drive automatics.. they might be nice to drive on the road but useless on anything else. Double drive with diff locks and good mud tyres along with a manual gearbox and you wont get stuck anywhere.
You were driving a hook lift. From hiab? Äller lastväxlare in Swedish. I learned about this from reading Trailer magazine! Didn't you dig two holes with the wheels to dump more gravel? 😁 I'm so glad you drive a Scania! I, absolutely, LOVE SCANIA! Maybe you've been there? Nice video, although the text you added didn't fit my mobile screen. 😱
Driving a hooklift is fun. And then you got the pleasure of driving a Scania V8, a thing can only dream of... And getting stuck. You don't wanna know how stupidly i stuck trucks already... You might have put your Difflock in before starting forwards, might have helped you :)

Also a twin driven truck uses more fuel the a single. But sins she have a hook truck she could pushed herself out with the hook arm. Maby when she had lifted her rear axle she had a bigger chance of getting out
lars meijerink twin drives means both axles drive. Not just one.
Nice to see you lifted the tag up soon as you knew alot of driver dont do this
Wow that looks tricky! Btw your hair looks sooo good in a Ponytail :)
You can use the bucket to push yourself out, just tilt and slide it off...just dont unhook it, you can pull it back on once your loose
I hope this isnt offensive. I started to watch your channel because I think your stunning, I continue to watch because I really enjoy your content.
Thank you🇱🇷⛟🌷
Been there, more than once 🤭,,and your right sure does feel good when you get out. 😁👍
You have really good videos. :) I cant understand why truck like that can be gravel truck. Axles up and there is no problem. We have 8x2 and 8x2*4 trucks and no problem. Sisu lifts axles up also when its loaded and that helps you alot.
Great video...and great job!
Been there done that....14 yrs on hook loaders , just use the bin to push it out....5 mins sorted.....👍🇮🇲
loving the nightmare before Christmas tattoos. Hope you got Frankenweenie on there somewhere :)
Me myself is going to college in Sweden and i am probably gonna be invested in trucks. I always been invested in trucks cause i think it looks fun.
Hi,is there a demand for truck drivers there? Is the pay good?? Done all that your doing in the UK.
Hello, hello do you just ride around Sweden or do you travel outside?
There is an art to use the hook loader to push yourself out of this situation
Great video.. if there is a next time just put the truck in N and using your in cab controls act as if you were going to drop the bin and let it push you out :) stay safe and keep truckin
It happens to the best of us luv getting stuck like Chuck..😁👍🏻
Hello my name's Stefano how many Times did you get stuck in sand by your truck ? I would Have liked to be' with tour passenger an help you put under the tires something
Nice vid and job, everyone can get stuck now and then. Love the tattoo's as well. Keep up the good work and vidz......🤘🙂
Wow, sorry you got stuck. It's easy with a single screw truck like yours. Love the different camera shots. Where was your furbabies ?
If nothing different happens, it's just another day.
No seat belt at 4:04! You're FIRED!
Slow down there chief
@@the_jydefar_6996 slow down? Don't want her getting hurt or ticketed silly
Getting stuck is all in a days work👍
Is it the same with Scania trucks as it is with Saab cars, that you need to set the gearbox to reverse gear to be able to release the key?
No, I've never heard of that :D
Very nice, very intest with your job 🤗 iam your fans from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Hey lovely video very much enjoyed it! xx
WHERE IS VIGO? your Swedish accent is so cute!! I love it
Nice story. was the wheeler there or did you have to call someone? Just another day in trucking.
I had to make a phone call yes xD
Lol exactly! First time getting stuck was scary. These days it's like "Oh c'mon I don't have time for this" 😂
@@TruckerCassie That got me thinking, does this company or most of them for that matter pay you by the hours you are working in a day ( stuck or not ) or by the load etc ?. At least if you get paid by the hour it doesn't feel so bad to be sitting for a bit when the situation goes sideways .... or dowwwwn !
oh, the truck only has one drive axle it seems. that is an easy way to get stuck to go on soft stuff without awd or even 4x6...
good job that is not the easiest places to go take care
I'm a simple man, I see a neat girl in a truck, I click on it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now I know what my girlfriend means when she said she only had two scoops of ice cream.
Your tattoos are absolutely amazing 🥰
Thanks for this stuck clip !!
watching this make me want to go back to Sweden
Looks like good artwork sleeves.
Kul video! Trevlig helg!
Tack detsamma! :D
Hi pretty lady, so you don't get a truck that only you use then, so which is your preference, and what sort of run's.
Do you do long distance with over night stop's.
What are the red buttons on the left doorpost used for? Or are those led lights?
It indicates if the hook is active, and/or flipped up (which can be hard to see if you don't go outside the truck) :)
BTW It's pretty crazy to send a truck without 4x4 or 6x6 on unmade road. Only single axe is driven on this truck?
Nice stuck...
Tips: when you edit your comment to fix a typo, all likes you may have had, disappears. 😱
Your driving is so beautiful
happens to the best of us
Driving a hooklift is fun. And then you got the pleasure of driving a Scania V8, a thing can only dream of... And getting stuck. You don't wanna know how stupidly i stuck trucks already... You might have put your Difflock in before starting forwards, might have helped you :)
She seems like a sweet heart love the accent I’m from Alberta
@Moonshine Buck She certainly isn't driving in the UK. Maybe, try Sweden, or the Scandinavian or Nordic countries.
