I believe its Volvo's 'Dynamic Steering' as they call it that takes most of the strain out of turning the wheel a bunch of times especially when trying to reverse into the tight spots. Your dog & Cat are so sweet, I bet they're missing the Chiwawa you had too. At least you still have them to cuddle up to, to keep you warm on those Cold Sweden Winter nights! Take care out there!

A friend of mine flew his Hot air Balloon from Öland to Gotland back in the 70's. On a last gasp of breeze he landed on the water and surfed into the beach! Crazy Swede or what!!?X
@TruckerCassie We ended up calling him Husvagn Hansson because he tied his balloon to a caravan- which then dragged itself across a horse racing course!! Front page of all the papers!!! I think you are in very good company!!!!X
I love driving but was always driving small cars. 2013 i got my big car oooops SUV. Mahindra Scorpio. Life changed. View of the road changed etc etc Truck driving is wow. you are doing it and i am happy about it. I have watched almost all your videos. keep driving and a safe journey

Derfor har jeg også altid været prof glad, når jeg har kørt, lastbiler, busser, kasse- og varevogne, handicap befordring, giver mere sikkerhed, end Dem der sidder nede i Deres små cokart og racer af sted i blinde. Det er altid godt at sidder oven på hjulene, frem for nede mellem hjulene. Min egen bil har været vw autocamper. Med behagelig hilsen fra danmark😺

Greetings from Scotland! That was a really cool place with a wash facility for windows and mirrors! They should have more of those everywhere, great idea! You should definitely visit Gotland and do a video, Cassie. It's a great place!

Regarding your comment about weekly rest in the truck. That rule only apply to a full week rest, aka 45h. International truckers can take two reduced weekly rest in a row, meaning they can be 3 weeks on the road, but then have to get all that rest back at once at the end of the 3 weeks. Let's say you do 2 24h hour rests in a row, you then have 2*21h to get back to normal, so you have to spend almost 4 resting days at home. Of course that's the law, but most of the trucking companies of eastern europe don't do that.

I wonder, with all these cars with rearviewing camara's, why do Trucks not have a couple of them on their aftside? Lets say one near the trailer attachpoint, one from the roof for an overview?
Some trucks have rear cameras, but none of the ones I drive have working ones, sadly :( The last truck I drove actually had a camera up on the top of the "box" in the back. That was pretty neat :D
@@TruckerCassie Thanks for your reply! I had an introduction driving lesson on one of the latest Mercedes trucks; it suprised me that for over € 20.000,- extra you got worse sight! I liked the mirrors as you could widen your angle of view by moving your head forward. These electric mirrors lack that.
