- They're like different, but the same.
I really can't call one " better" than the other.
Thanks for watching!

This is the best comparison I've seen yet. Lots of good info. Nice work.
Thank you! Or, you're welcome! Or, something! 🤣

Because it's what we like.
Going "over-the-table, and getting in-depth".
Nudge-nudge, wink-wink, say no more.
I have the hsgi and I use it for work, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, patrolling the southern border. It’s a nice pad, if you’re not going to sit down for extended periods like most people on patrol do.
The belt pad rides up. They claim it is grippy and keepers are not needed. Couldn’t disagree more in my experience. It ALWAYS rides up and I have to readjust it when i get out of my ride. I can try to push it down in the back when I get out but it’s easier to unbuckle my belt and reposition it. You can see how this can cause issues while working for example a traffic stop. As far as I know there are no keepers out there that fit the width of this pad.
I will be purchasing the wilder pad as it has a way to attach to the inner belt and stay put. Nothing wrong with the quality of the hsgi, it just doesn’t work for me on patrol. It will be relegated to my shooting belt when I train off duty when I am not constantly having to exit a vehicle. I’d highly recommend it for that type of role but not for daily patrol. The concepts of these belts are awesome having the ability to “lock” you gear in and never having to worry about positioning it or having it move on you.
Thanks so much for the real-world feedback! I ended up picking up a newer Wilder, and it didn't come with the keepers. Definitely check first before ordering.
@@SapperGentleman I saw that myself. I was dissapointed.. I might have to look into modifying my HSGI. MIght have to learn how to use the wife's sewing machine! Great review BTW!
@@rocket5557 That's an outstanding idea! It doesn't need to look pretty, it just needs to work. You might even be able to find a local tailor that can do it.
Rad man thanks for the belt low down!
I’m your size so this is the exact video I needed to see, thanks!
Glad I could help! 🤘🏼
I waited 2 months for my Wilder Tactical belts and too damn big couldn't tighten it anymore. Damn sure hope its not another 2 months to exchange them.
Always with the moves... lol
"Testing" 😜
Is the wilder tactical belt the minimal wide or just the minimal belt?
Two separate pieces.
It’s just the standard minimalist pad, not the wide minimalist pad
33" waist ? I've got some suits from high school if you're in need
I hover just below 32 inch waist, would it be recommended to get medium or small for wilder padded belt?
Yep, a Medium oughta do ya 👍🏽
I'm still annoyed that I accidentally clicked on multicam black instead of regular multicam for the belt when I ordered it.
Didn't even realize it until the thing showed up
Ah, I'm reminded of the FDE mag release I ordered for my BLACK G19 🤣
So, are you selling that multicam black one then? Or is it already well used?
@@ShawsOwn lol I guess I can sell the belt itself it's just been collecting dust
@@pdxmarine1430 hit me up at my UA-cam name plus yahoo mail. Hopefully that's not too cryptic. I would be interested in buying it, I don't mind the black camo. Email me and let me know what size it is. Is that cool to ask?
Is that a mid ride UBL you are running?
Yep. I've replaced it with a G-Code Optimal Drop.
How do molle pouches work with this belt style? Just like a belt loop since there's nothing to weave through? Do they shift around?
Correct. The vertical slats help keep your gear from moving around. 👍🏽
