    My safariland basket weave leather 94 buckles belt lasted 16 years. I got a Uncle's Mike's basket weave leather belt with the plastic buckle and the buckle broke twice. I went 2 years ago with my Wilder condor Tactical belt with the cobra buckle it is SWEET! I put all my Safariland basket weave pouches on the belt! It still fells soft and light.

    Been running Wilder's handcuff pouch on my external vest for a couple weeks now. Absolutely unmatched in terms of construction and quality. (Also, that's not how you stage a TQ 😂) Great review and great to have you back!

      @@Six60Four I've seen some truly mind-boggling ways of people staging those things before lol. You're good! Just wish Wilder came out with a pad that'll fit a regular 2.25 inch duty belt. Using the HSGI suregrip pad right now on the inside of my duty rig and it's working alright, but you do get that slight velcro tearing noise when walking around so I'm feeling like it's not as secure as something like this. Either way, keep up the good work!

      @@voodoo2GPC Wilder does have a 2.25 duty belt pad, if I'm not mistaken.

    The Kore Essential Battle Belt has by far been the BEST duty belt I have ever worn. Micro pals webbing, 4" worth of 1/4" adjustments WHILE WEARING the belt, it is cut specifically for you and your pant measurement instead of sizes of small, med and large so it fits EXACTLY how you want it too, weather that be lose or very snug and you can go between those two at any time with no hassle and without removing all of your kit! The belt is extremely rigid due to the multi layer system having a plastic center, the nylon has a subtle sheen to it that looks very professional while wearing duty blues and is thin/light weight so it doesn't dig into your hips and back while driving. I have worn it with full duty equipment such as taser, asp, mags, 2x cuffs, pistol, keys, TQ and it holds everything perfectly. I have also worn it in conjunction with an outer carry vest so only running mags and pistol and holds everything tight to my body without having to move the buckle around or do anything crazy to get it to fit properly after removing all of the gear that was on it prior. Has been one of the best investments I have made in my 7 years on the job!

      And in 5 or 10 years it breaks! Nothing is better than Safariland Sam brown 94 duty belts. I had a Bianchi belt that came apart. I had uncle Mike's the plastic buckle broke twice. Our Dept. Does not allow.nylon or Kore belts. Plane black or basket weave. I been on 25 years now going on my 3rd belt and 2nd pouches. We use Condor belts with Cobra buckle on SWAT. My friend had a Kore belt the locking device that locks into the cut outs had broke. He had it 6 years on gang and tactical units. He went back to Condor belt!

    Thanks for another great video. When you mentioned the benefits of the way the weight is carried by the belt it got me wondering about how much your belt would weigh fully loaded?
    Have a great one and a safe one and again thanks for putting in the time and getting these videos out.

    • @Six60Four
      @Six60Four  5 років тому +3

      The alternative uniforms we utilize (as shown in this video) weigh less than our traditional duty uniforms. The equipment is the same, so that weight doesn't change, but this belt is designed differently. The WT belt "sits" off of your hips and back because of the padding. It feels like the belt is sitting off of you - which is a positive. A traditional duty belt is tight and pulled very close to your inner belt with belt keepers, so you feel it no matter what you are doing. Traditional belts are also more rigid, which makes them more noticeable when wearing. I hope that helps!

    Hey. Great video as always, but your time stamp should not be all the way closed in your tourniquet. Undoing the time stamp during and emergency can be difficult, so please only halfway shut it. Keep up the great work and stay safe!
    (If the Velcro catches onto your shirt get a different holster that covers the Velcro)

    Wish I would of bought the next wider belt kind of a pain with this little buckle to clip also wish the magazine pouches rotated cant stand them straight up and down had to put my old leather mag pouch on. After 30 years wearing a police duty belt this sure does feel good wish I had this years ago. No more stuff digging in my hip from all the crap In have to wear now.

    Great review! And you most certainly don’t suck at videos!
    BTW, for a non-LEO, what is a foxtrot kilo review?
    And, what kind of inner belt do you attach to the “outer” belt?
    I also appreciate how detail-oriented you are. Who thinks to cut off that extra cord and burn it to make it look good?
    Great job!

    How does the kydex clip-on gear hold up in a fight or rolling around, etc.? I know a lot of gear these days stays secure when you want it to and doesn't come off when you don't, but there's always a handful of batman belt accessories that are just ornery.

    With the velcro keepers, do you slide your inner belt through all of them or just the 2 "front" ones? Seems tricky to slide the inner belt through the back ones as well if solo.

    • @Six60Four
      @Six60Four  5 років тому +1

      You wrap the Velcro around your inner belt in the front and back while the belt is on. It’s not as bad as it sounds actually.

    Any idea if these pouches would stay on the belt if you were to get into an altercation with a subject? That’s my only concern because the pouches don’t lock or strap onto the belt. Don’t want to lose gear during a fight. Thanks.
