    Thanks for the yard stick tip. I've been hand-jamming for years, just never bothered finding an easier way. (Yeah, I know. Lesson now Learned.) Like the previous poster, I left a fair amount of skin and broken fingernail chunks inside my battle belt. The yardstick technique, however, is slicker than snot!! Highly recommended to any and all newbs, maybe even some of the older but still learning types.
    I use my belt/harness combo to hold my home defense setup, carrying just my normal handgun holster & mag holders, plus sometimes a dump pouch at the range.
    FOR SEVERE BACK PAIN SUFFERERS: My personal use of the HSGI belt and a shoulder harness isn't driven by a need to carry lots of gear or be tacti-cool. Rather, I've got extremely bad SI and lower lumbar joints & discs, which causes mucho pain, and by my mid-50s I couldn't stand to wear any belt (even regular pants belts) due to the resulting pain from the pressure therefrom. It's not a perfect solution, as the weight is transferred from the hips to the shoulders, and thus down the spinal column -- so I still pay a pain penalty, either way. Still, the belt/shoulder harness combo is a a vast improvement over any gun belt I've ever tried (and I've tried dozens), allowing me to carry needed self-defense tools when needed.
    Maybe we'll get that fixed someday with the surgery option, but until then, this is a vast improvement

    Well this would have been helpful for me today as I pulled my riggers belt through my skin padded belt WITHOUT the yard stick trick! Let’s just say a couple layers of skin on my fingers are now lost due to trying to push and pull through Velcro and also not removing the end clip. Lesson learned for sure! Hahaha. I will be re doing the belt system tomorrow using this method!

    Is it possible to mount a mid ride safarland holster with this setup? Is there access at the bottom of the molle to the inner belt?

    Is your gear IRR or NIR compliant?

    • @HighSpeedGear1
      @HighSpeedGear1  Рік тому

      It is dependent on the materials used per product. We do our best to use materials with good IR properties. However, that doesn’t always apply to all parts of our products as some materials have different reflective qualities. We don’t make a guarantee that our products are “IR safe," but we can say that some of the materials we use perform well under IR. Hope this helps!
