I am so curious how these videos are recorded! It seems obvious that this is being played live, meaning the audio we hear is from the video we see, but I don't see any microphones or pickups in the video.
@@Hongqie those are not cables, but the twisted cord of the tuning pegs! Guqin doesn't have pickups, so these videos are most likely recorded with a hanging microphone (also, the instrument wouldn't have this kind of timbre was it electric)
@@ajf- Well there are acoustic guitars that have pickups inside, that still sound like acoustic guitars. But I think you're right about the hanging microphone, since you can hear the sounds of their fingers so clearly. Boy that is a quiet room though!
this instrument for Chinese people is the way we worship the nature and almighty power. it pursues the extreme combination of idealogical expansion, spiritual cleanse, serenity, then the techniques, and it never should be flamboyant. By adding more modern tunes maybe make it sounds smoother, but you can only say that will be more popular for modern people, especially ones who are outside this culture. This man plays very well, like those true high intellectuals among our ancestors. All members are so good, I prefer not to say who is better, as a product of Chinese culture, it's just this song attracts me much more.

it actually does have pickup inside the instrument and you can see cable plugs underneath on side viewing.

我是小白，我想问一下，演奏者左手发出的摩擦声是故意发出的还是不需要的声音？
我也有同问。。。
古琴滑音需要左手在弦上滑动所以会有摩擦声（加上古琴的声音其实非常小，因为这种乐器原本不是为了弹给他人听而是为了弹给自己和知己）所以就会听到摩擦声了。不过我也只学过一点点可能会说错
丝弦摩擦声比较大一点
