      These are still not my favorite for CrossFit/heavy lifting, but at the end of the day, I get their utility for some athletes/lifters, and after they break in they do feel a bit better. #stillthicccccthough

    So glad I took the time to search out your full review. I am currently waiting on my Trainer + to come in the mail and your first review already had me thinking I had made a mistake in buying them. Now, I am excited again to get them! Thank you for updating! :)

      Awesome - and noooo, I never want my content to give you buyers remorse. It's all part of the learning process and we all interpret gear a little differently!
      But yeah, the Trainer+ and Court Trainer both took a bit to grow on me due to being used to the OG Trainer, but they're solid shoes. Keep me posted on how you like them!

  • @scriley1974
    @scriley1974 11 місяців тому

    If you own the Trainer +, inspect the top eyelets. They're made of plastic (instead of the OG's metal eyelets) and the shoestrings wear through plastic eyelets, into the surrounding Super Fabric. No Bull replaced my shoes (warranty), however, those plastic eyelets are a definite design flaw.

      Yeah, I’m personally not the biggest fan of it either, but I do think it could be beneficial for those with wide/flat feet that need a bit more support from their shoe’s midsole, IMO!

      I haven't personally, but I'm curious if anyone else will chime in here.

      @@thatfitfriend Hi Jake- thanks very much!!! I’m a US10.5 - Width 104mm - Length 270mm. I tend towards over pronation. I Normally wear ASICS standard width running shoes. (Gel sonoma 5 trail running) No idea for heal drop- As these shoes won’t be for running I’m probably looking for a transition shoe; too flat might be a bit extreme. Really like the idea of very durable. Im 41- won’t be lifting crazy heavy but will be trying to build up some strength with squats / deadlifts slowly after a few very ‘off trained’ years. Weary of the CrossFit shoes and I don’t think the stiff midsole will work for boxing/HITT/functional circuit - my ASICS are ok but I tear the uppers around the base of the big toe and I don’t feel too stable during squats and lunges - hope that’s descriptive enough- appreciate your reply- keep up the awesome work 👍

I do a combination of weightlifting (mother over 250 so far), HIIT workouts, and functional training.
