Hi Ralph, thanks for watching my video. this video is old a lot of these places get destroyed so fast I doubt much is left. The old resorts of the Catskills are amazing and have so much history.
I would say a lot of people have been in there over the years, which is a tragedy for new owners and just shows that the town of Catskill is not set up to handle all these vacant properties. It’s a great area to drive around and go up to the Catskill Mountain house, which at one point had a trolley that went all the way up there but it burned years ago. Enjoy the Catskills in the fall. It’s a great place. Peace
@PeaceofMindEnterprises thanks so much piece of mind. So many different groups like these types of places it’s sad when certain groups come by to cause destruction. Something else that I think about is why buy a place and tell the town you want to invest and rebuild and instead do the opposite.
Yeah, but we didn’t talk about that back in the day. Getting paid in Cash was always a win-win. They were good people to work for with a great work ethic. It’s a shame where it is today PEACE.
@@PeaceofMindEnterprises thank you for sharing. Such Beautiful place you could tell many great memories were made there. Love all the pools and theatres that are inside.
Stayed here in 1988 with my family. So sad to hear it’s fallen into disrepair ☹️
Thank you for this, camped close by this place this weekend, Wow so sad it's falling apart......
You’re welcome, thanks for watching. Sad to see it fall into disrepair after the new owner promised to fix it and reopen it.

Did you guys showed the 3rd and 4th floor
Hi Majestic, towards the end when the rooms are shown. Just a lil.
So what’s the story now? Someone must be paying taxes on this place? Any chance of new owners restoring this place to where,it used to be?
Last I seen online they would be updating the resort and reopening it as a spa and wellness center. Nothing has been done and it remains closed.
This place was popular with the Italian mafia in the 70's and early 80's.
The owners, the caridi family had a very interesting history.
