    You could always use Gesso on each page so you could continue using the book as it is pretty cool looking. You could even glue two pages together, then gesso the pages (gesso just Incase you don’t know what I’m talking about, is a substance artist use to prep their surface before they start to add their medium, ie...paint, ink, etc..prevents bleed through for the most part) it may remove your lines though. You could draw your own, go with out lines, or your arts and craft shop should sell a stamp and ink that will put the lines back for you. Your book is awesome I love it. Look up mixed media art journaling and you can see Gesso in use, and see some creative ways to art journal, just from seeing what I see here in your book. I honestly think you would enjoy it. :~) Thank You so much for sharing your Tarot Journal with us.

    You just gave me so many ideas! I keep my tarot journaling on a 3-ring binder instead of a notebook, I like to add and reorganize it depending on the focus of the month, etc.

    Merry Meet. What about taking the guts out of the cover, create your own signatures to sew into the cover? Beautiful cover. Shame they couldn’t use better quality paper to fit the beauty of the cover. So. Much great information! I’ll check out your shop. Creative Blessings! ~Rain

    This is so fantastic! I love how organic and uncomplicated you make it. I tend to get caught up in "I must work through my journaling in order" when that's so not the case. I totally took some notes to add some spice to my own style. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Love it. These ideas I wouldn't have come up with myself. I also live that it's not 100% perfect. Everyone's videos show perfection and I'm scared to write my own stuff. But I'm more comfortable now because of you. I hope that doesn't sound rude lol.

    • @FablesDen
      @FablesDen  7 років тому +3

      I know what you mean! Don't worry it doesn't sound rude. I was intimidated by the well-lit, perfectly designed stationary videos, too. But for me, I don't really need my journals to be perfect. Having that said, I do want to point out my illustrating skills have improved since then LOL I was looking at some of the stuff I drew and I was severely cringing. * shivers *

    • @dnlmrgn
      @dnlmrgn 7 років тому +2

      Fables Den Lol! My biggest problem was an empty BOS for so long because I have horrible handwriting and I can't draw. But I've used some ideas and convinced myself I'd make my own book one day so now I'm not terrified to write in my BOS

    • @FablesDen
      @FablesDen  7 років тому +1

      BOS = Book of Shadows right?? Took me 10 seconds haha. You can get some cute stickers and do some paper crafting maybe! Lots of way to decorate something. Don't need to stick with drawing if you feel iffy about it :D (but seriously though, I didn't think I can draw--I mean I didn't think I was terrible but I never had any confidence until recently. UA-cam has so many tutorials on easy doodles! Like this one--this channel inspired me to get into creative journaling and bullet journaling. :) ua-cam.com/video/aVa7H0qrABk/v-deo.html
