It’s so nice to hear someone actually talk openly about Breast Reduction instead of always just Breast Implants! Bigger Breasts aren’t always worked up to be what everyone who doesn’t have them think they are!
As a man, I honestly don’t care. But hearing what she had to say, this sounded like more of an insecurity towards her looks and how would people judge her body. I’m against doing stuff to your body just to please people in a way or the other. But then again, it’s their choice.
@@mouath_14 until you carry them around and experience the pain and discomfort then we don't care about your opinion. It's not vanity.
@@mouath_14 do you know how much natural, saggy, big boobs hurt?
@@mouath_14 she literally said she had incredible back pain and the clothing struggle is real. The extra attention is more then just self confidence issues.
@@mouath_14 Perhaps when she spoke about the drastic change in her breast size in the span of a year at the age of 12-13 years old, there may have been some insecurities going on as it’s not uncommon for very young girls to feel awkward from all the unsolicited attention a young girl may receive, however past that point it was clearly not about her wanting this procedure because of what other people thought. Not once did she say anything about her peers or other people making comments nor attracting the wrong attentions from makes, etc. Back pain and overall upper body pain is very commonly heard by females as a problem when having very large, natural breasts, and even more so, as she mentioned, on someone who has a very petite body size otherwise.
First time I’ve heard someone talk about the joys of breast reduction surgery! I love it. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and learned just before the surgery that I could get my breast done for free during the surgery. I was so excited and jumped on it. Definitely gave me something positive to focus on during a difficult time. Having the reduction surgery not only allowed the doctor to take out more tissue that could have been cancer and allowed me to get my perfect C breast back. Thankful that today my cancer is gone and I have smaller boobies. 😊
I'm so sorry to hear that you had to experience this but so delighted to hear you're doing well now. 🙏🙏🙏
Hey! This is random but I wanted to put this out here today God will provide!!! Jesus loves you, and he died and rose again to save you and me. He will help you with whatever you're struggling with right now
@@claireetally thank you Claire! He is so good and has always provided. 😊
I had lumpectomy and need to know who can fix them bith to same size? Can't get any info where I am.
@@vikkil2586 hi, you’d would need to find a reconstructive doctor in your area.
I'm a 32K and only 5'1". I've been in pain my whole adult life from this. I'm currently nursing my last baby and so giddy over the prospect of finally being able to get a reduction! Thank you for being so candid about your experience, especially with regards to the pain and scars.
Make sure you research the doctor before you allow him/her to cut on you. I had a not so competent doctor so things aren’t good but it’s still better than the pain I had being a 36h at 5’2”. But I’ve known others now that have had fantastic results. Just do your research and you’ll be fine!!
It’s literally gonna be the best thing you’ve done for yourself like ….EVER!!!
They grow back over time
Blooming heck I’m a 32FF and I HATE IT. I feel for you girl 😱
@@Erin_The_Lotus Breasts are mostly fat so that can increase their size if you gain weight. I breast-fed three kids but never had that deflating balloon effect. I’m considerably heavier than I was in my 20s and 30s but too much of that weight is breasts.
I love how Derik acts when talking your ex boyfriend. Haha. It’s quite funny. GOLD STAR FOR DERIK!!⭐️
Derik didn't answer!!!
Give Derek a GOLD Star. I think it is so brave of Sarah to talk about her breast reduction and being totally honest about how it was for her.
Gold star for SARAH!!! This was something personal that you were willing to shed light on for others so I commend you!!
I couldn't agree more! She went all out on this one!! :)
@@DerikAndSarah
Derick should get 2 gold stars. I mean, there were 2 huge . . . uh, never mind
I had breast reduction surgery 9 years ago after giving birth to twin girls. I have 3 kids...
I wanted to be a runner and my breasts were so big from my pregnancy so I went for it.
I have my body back, my confidence, and most importantly, in the last 9 years, I have run so many half marathons I have lost count! Just finished the Stockholm marathon this last weekend.
Hooray for smaller boobs!💕❤️
And a healthier more comfortable mother! Win win!
@@KLP99 some dude always has to make it creepy huh
A friend had reduction. The grooves cut into her shoulders, the backaches! Eight pounds of tissue removed (seriously). She was so happy she had it done.
Eight pounds! That could easily be a whole new-born baby! 😮
My surgeon removed 11 1/2 pounds. I wish I'd had done it many years earlier. My posture is still bad, but the shoulder grooves are gone. I went from a H cup to a B.
What size did you go down to?
Yeah, the bra straps!
I have a friend who is about 5’2” and was wearing a G. Her back was always hurting her and picking up her baby was a struggle. She got a reduction and said it was the best thing ever. Her insurance did pay for it because she had a year (maybe more) of documented doctors visits for back pain, etc.
This happened to my daughter and honestly it just destroyed her. She became reclusive...wore extremely large sweat shirts...was humiliated and so uncomfortable with the attention....she turned to drugs and ultimately lost her life. People don't easily accept this as the reason why she declined so rapidly..but I was there. I watched my beautiful girl crawl into herself...hide...try to numb her insecurity...it's anything but funny. ( please know I'm only sharing because I want everyone to understand how much this matters. People tend to trivialize this)
Whoa I'm sorry.
@@kadenmahaffa7727 thank you. I only shared because I don't think people understand how difficult it can be for young girls. I had no clue.
I am so, so sorry. Much love.
My deepest sympathy.
I undetstand:( I wanted to kill myself for years, the large breast were destroying me, finally had the reduction, worth it all!! Years later I had breast liposuction and life got even better, I'm so sorry your daughter had to live with that horrible feeling, I was her, I know exactly what you are saying.
I can tell you - I had reduction surgery after having been TOO BIG since I was 10 years old & I absolutely hated it. Had it done after I'd had my 3 babies & I've never regretted it. Wish I could have had it much earlier in life. 👍👍👍
When you suddenly become greatful your a member of the itty bitty club lol
Same. But I'm 6' tall, so I've always thought mine look too small on my frame 😞
However, I've had two kids, and they're still perky 👍🏻
I m still sad.... Can we get at least A or B..... Why our itty bitty don't want to get bigger lol.
@@alison4316 after two kids mine look like deflated water balloons. Really want implants but at the same time don't want to go through all that.
@@nicolebuchanan229 I would looooove implants. If you _do_ get them, don't get textured--they can cause breast cancer.
Itty bitty titty committee
I had a breast reduction and I 100% recommend it!! It changed my life. I hated the way I looked, I hated the way clothes fit me and I was super, super self-conscious. I felt like I never would want to be naked in front of anyone and it was depressing. I had a friend that briefly went before me and I was so Blown away by her results that I made a consultation appointment immediately and moved forward with it. I don’t even remember it being very painful. All I remember is the joy when I woke up and all that extra weight was gone and I could wear a tank top with a little bralette and not being self conscious! Thank you for sharing❤️
Gold ☆ for Derik! I have a friend who had hers reduced. She hated how big she was up top. She's SOO much happier now!
I love when people use their platform to talk about things like these. It could literally be life changing for a young girl or any woman. You help remove stigma and encourage people to talk and ask about it. Really inspirational. You guys are great 💕
I have double H cups and have been considering getting this done for years. Every time I bring it up, all I hear is vane people saying don't do it. It makes me so glad that you posted this! You answered some genuine questions I've had and helped me to be more confident in my decision. ❤ You guys are absolutely wonderful, keep being you!!
Me too..never could afford reduction..but would if I could..now I'm 56 and it's worse than I ever imagined..thanks for this
It's your body, don't listen to those vain people who are projecting their beliefs onto your body. If you're in pain, and it's something you've seriously been considering, you should start researching and discuss it with your doctor. Some insurances will even pay for some or all of it if it's adversely affecting your health! To be honest, I myself have never had anything beyond a small B. I spent half my life wishing I could get implants, and it had been suggested multiple times to me. I decided I'm going to do what's best for me and my body. Once I stopped listening to other people, I started feeling better about myself. So, long story short, do what's best for you and your body.
DO IT! Seriously, one of the best decisions of my life. Make the decision for YOU, no one else. No one else has to live in your body.
I started complaining in 9th grade and my mom REPEATEDLY told me it wasn't a big deal and she'd seen the horrible scars of a patient she worked on in the ER, and I'd get smaller after having kids, etc... News flash: I got BIGGER. I finally had it done when I was 26. I was engaged at the time and I didn't ask my fiance's opinion at all. I told him I was doing it. I'd been fighting with my insurance company for a long time. I finally got a new job and new insurance and JUMPED at the chance when it came! Like she said in the video, LIFE CHANGING!
DO IT!!
I've had people say all's sorts of terrible things to me. Don't listen to them. It will improve your life in every way. You just have to do it. Breath through the fear and nerves. Do it. You will never regret it, I promise. I'm 50 today, got mine when I was in the navy in 97, I was 24. I didn't have anyone to help me at all. Drove myself to and from the surgery. Took 6 weeks of bed rest. By myself. Best thing I ever did for myself. Do it. You will be so happy 😁
I had breast reduction surgery nearly 30 years ago. I was a FF cup, reduced to a C cup. They took 11lbs of tissue away. Best thing I’ve ever done, scars aren’t even noticeable at this point ❤️
Me tooooo! 10lbs. 5 from each tah-tah. Was an F went to a B. Zero regrets.
am a c cup and its so weird, i feel is too big, but now what you had, wow i want you to know you were strong.
I can't imagine taking out 11 pounds of breast. You had to be miserable. I'm glad you had the surgery.
@@keelidavenport1245 thank you, I have to be honest and tell you I had real joy and giggled the first time my boobs jiggled.
@@rowanjoy419 sorry I missed your comment! I’m a C cup now and I’m still overjoyed. It’s really whatever you’re comfortable with and what your frame can carry 🫶
I love the way you work out the events in your life together no matter how personal and life changing. I’m so very proud of you and excited for your amazing future . 👏😍❤️❤️❤️😘
How can I be 52 and just adoring you guys so much?!? And your other Beeston fam too? I found you while in recovery from Covid and I’m doing great! But wanted to share that I explanted my toxic breast implants in March 2021 😬 I had them for 25 years and have survived so much sickness and pain. I’m sooooo freaking happy I did it. I also got a lift (much needed, trust me lol) and holy sheesh it was all so painful but completely worth it. My only regret is that I waited so long! Much love to you guys, keep the goodness flowing 💪
Really interesting to hear and it's good to hear you talk candidly about it. The jokes and connection between the 2 of you is adorable.
Your mom is equally as beautiful as the rest of ya (even having been on baby duty)
I am somehow just seeing this video. I had a reduction done in 2009 and like you and many others said it was THE BEST thing I could’ve done, even though it also affected my ability to breastfeed. I went from a 40 H to a DD. Every time, before my surgery, I gained weight it was the first to gain and last to lose. That’s not the case now! I am so glad you did this video (even if it was weird for you to do) and shed light on this. I wish insurance covered it more often. I was fortunate and Tricare paid 100% for me with minimal proof needed.
I am a DDD and once I get down to my pre-covid weight I am getting a breast reduction!! Can't wait to be rid of the back pain and be able to wear the correct size dresses and bathing suits!
Since you had back pain it could have been covered by insurance. Anytime it's causing you a physical problem then it's no longer just for cosmetic reasons. You could have gotten it covered and so could anyone who's having back pain. The doctor can help you prove that to the insurance company
Poor sweet awkward supportive Derik. My dude is sweating bullets. He's the best 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your mom is drop dead gorgeous and You're an exact replica, what a beautiful family. Thanks for sharing 💪😊
Kudos for sharing so openly, and also for making it clear that you are sharing your experience and not giving advice.
I had cosmetic surgery after a huge weight loss. No regrets at all. It sounds like your surgeon recommended sticking to a schedule with meds, rather than “chasing the pain”, as my surgeon phrased it. I don’t regret taking the effort to maintain a schedule.
Ooooó
Gold star for Derik!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ You guys are so down to earth! Love watching your videos. Such a sweet family 🥰
Awe thank youuu!
Thank you so much for talking about this! I have been wanting to get one for years, but I’m trying to figure out when I will have time for the surgery and recovery (plus who my support person would be since I live so far from home). I really appreciate the candid answers and I’m so glad that you don’t regret it at all and your quality of life significantly improved! Much love! ❤️

Gold Star for Derik! He was so brave!... Love for your fam guys, thanks for sharing and being so fun.
hahah yess thanks! 😊Of course!!
I used to have JJ cup, and had a reduction down to a full C/small D. Life changing!
JJ!?! 😮😮 God bless you. I’m sure that was a literal load off your back.
Currently I'm a 32JJ... I think I'd cry tears of pure joy if I were anything smaller than E.
OMGoodness, just like my daughter!! She wore 3 bras too! Her grandma paid for her to have her breast reduction. She's so, so much better & happier now.
Any video like this that can help people, is wonderful. This can be a painful and awkward subject for many young girls, and having a platform to tell them, look it is okay, and this is what happened to me. Thank you for making this video, you will probably never know how many people you have helped. New subscriber love your videos!
I am a young 80 yr old (recoving from hip replacement) and married 46 yrs no children. I found your story compelling. I was thankful that Derek was with you during this discussion. I love your vlogs and the unbounded love you share with one another and the littles. Wow, what a better world this would be if we all experienced this. My favorite was giving Jack his 1st skateboard!! Thank you for being you!!!❤😊
Normally a 32G and currently pregnant and no longer fitting my bras. Thank you for this video. I've struggled with back and neck pain and it's even more of a challenge now.
Gold star for Derik! I love watching your families videos. Please keep up the good work!
Gold star for Derik! ⭐
From the outside looking in, many people would wonder why someone would want to get a reduction but don't understand what that person may be going through. Thanks for sharing your story and explaining. I could imagine how much back pain it could cause and see how hard it would be to dress one's self properly.
I watched your channel for the first time today….you are adorable. When you were sharing your breast reduction surgery, I immediately thought of my daughter, Summer. Her story is so much like yours. She wore the multiple bras, just like you. She was a cheerleader, and an amazing dancer. I was so proud when she put herself in front of audiences to dance and cheer. She had enough self-confidence, without a moment of embarrassment. When she was 15, I took her to a consultation for breast reduction. She was so petite (5 feet tall, perfect figure everywhere else, but her bra size was 32 DDD). She had the surgery, and was (and still is) 32 C. She has 3 daughters, and it’s looking like her oldest, my granddaughter, Mia, might be facing the same thing. I’m so happy that both you and Summer healed perfectly. She was able to breastfeed all of the girls, and she produced so much “leftover”, so she pumped and donated it. I didn’t even know that was a thing lol. I’m so glad I pursued that option for her. It was hands-down the best parental decision I have ever made.
Thank you for being so honest about this. Love you guys!!! Y'all are such a light! 💛💛💛
Very proud of you Derrick for surviving this discussion. You've earned a gold star 🌟
Derick deserves a gold star.and another one for being a super husband and dad.
Extra gold star 🌟
Hey Derick.. I've been watching you and your interactions with your beautiful wife and then with little Jack ever since you came on to UA-cam, and in my opinion, you deserve a night sky filled with bright and beautiful golden stars!! I wish more young husbands and fathers would follow your example.
But now in all fairness, I have to pay equal attention to Sarah, because I see just as much love for you and Jack coming out of her too!
Yep..all in all I'd have to say that little Jack is a very lucky little boy!

Gold star for Derik and Sara. Thanks so much for sharing. I needed this.
Golden star to both of you! It is so brave to talk about personal issues like this to help others. Just the fact that you're talking about it makes others with similar issues feel that they're not alone.
Loved watching this. I'm in a similar situation except for I was an A cup and got breast implants thinking that I needed them to "feel like a woman" and now that I've matured and found my husband I cannot wait to get then removed. I'm 32 weeks pregnant so I have to wait until after I finish breastfeeding, but I seriously cannot wait. I am so ready to get them removed and I know I will feel like a completely new person!
You two, now 3, are just absolutely precious! If im feeling down, I just open your channel and before long, I'm laughing! Thank you for sharing your joy.

Your mom is an awesome guest. She added so much! She's so generous for taking Derek when he was crying during the video, too.
Lol Derrick is the dad...Jack is the baby. I had to laugh 'cuz I was picturing Sarah's mom carrying a crying Derrick out of the room.
I meant Derik. Autocorrect changed the spelling.

That’s great you take the time to explain all about those situations and are not comfortable talking about it ( if seem comfortable) great job love the channel you guys are great
I just got a reduction 2 weeks ago!! It’s already the best decision I’ve ever made. I was in a ton of pain and went through some hoops to get it covered by insurance. It took longer to get it approved and I went to a chiropractor for 5 weeks and got a note from them. But if you’re thinking about it DO IT
So happy to hear this! Thanks for sharing :)
I never paid attention but I didn't see big boobs on her???
I cannot get enough of you guys. And Jack!!!!!
My daughter has a similar story to urs. She was 17 when she had hers done and she had triple Es and she was in so much pain . She had trouble doing the simplest tasks because they were so heavy and she could never enjoy life. She was always mad at me because I had big breats as well so she took alot of her frustrations out on me cause she thought I passed them on to her. I had lots of talks with her and explained how things like this work. So your videos that u do on topics like this can really inspire and help others that are going through this or have gone through it because listening to someone else can give them that courage . I watch ur family all the time and the love that u 2 have for each other is inspiring even after years of being married and having a baby the way u two look at each other and how ur faces light up gives people like us hope that there is really loving, caring, down to earth, respectful people like yourselves out there. I watch alot of you tubers and u guys are my favourite because of how genuine u guys really are.
thanks - my daughter needs this, so I greatly appreciate having some of my questions answered! Gold Star for Derik! ⭐

I have 2 children, they went back to a smaller size than before after the first one. After the second child, large and have stayed that way. Had a friend that had it done for backpain. She is so happy to have it done. Thank you Sarah, for sharing and the encouragement. Thanks Derik for being supportive or Sarah.
I had mine at 39 best thing I ever did. Hard! And wish it had been sooner. You are an amazing woman. Once upon a time summer prior to 7 th grade….fall on 7th grade I suffered ridicule from then until 20’s. I feel your pain. A fishing trip on rough seas made the final decision for me. I am sooooo. Glad I had it done!
As a child my best friend wore a DDD in 5th grade. She was not even a heavy kid. She ended up being a K cup. She had a reduction for her high school graduation gift. When she woke up she said oh my gosh 😳 you turned me into an a cup. The dr said no honey I could get you smaller than a D cup. The funniest part was I had almost zero boobs. No joke an A cup was to big on me. We joked that she ended up with my boobs by mistake. I finally got implants when I was 21, for the same reasons you got a reduction. I just wanted to be able to buy clothing that fit. I am happy to say I am now a perfect C cup.
How awesome to hear someone talk so positively about getting a breast reduction! I also was a triple D cup through high school. I didn't have a chance to get mine reduced until I was in my late 20's, married, and already had my first child. The Dr. I had did the same operation as you described, all except that I didn't hear you mention anything about drainage tubes. I had one on each side, and to this day, those spots are tender if they get pushed upon (I am now 51). STILL, I would say that getting the breast reduction was one of the best things I have ever had done! :) Thanks for being so open about your experience!
You have a wonderful team of family that could help. I had one as well and never, regret doing this. Idid nothave any help afterwards but did ok. I now have no back or shoulder problems.

hahah thank you! 🙌
I had a breast reduction for my 30th birthday present to myself and I’m now 61. I had very little pain and was back to work in 2 weeks. The most painful part was having drain tubes removed. My insurance did pay for it all because of my back pain and dips in my shoulders from bra straps. I was in 7-8 size pants with 38DD boobs in 7th grade! I wanted a reduction for years and finally did it and I have had absolutely no regrets!
Your family is amazing!!!!!!! I love all of you guys!!!! I am so glad I found you!!! I definitely want to get rid of my boobs completely!!!!!!! I just wish I could do it financially!!!!! Gold Star for Derrick!!!!! I love you guys so much!!!!!

A friend in high school had this problem as well. She had to wait until after graduation to make sure she stopped growing. She was stooped forward and in a ton of pain but was still an athlete. In college, I almost didn’t recognize her with her standing upright and she said she was so much happier and no more back pain.
