I used to teach Women’s Self Defense. When out in public I’d advise be aware of everything around you when you’re out. But don’t become paranoid. Just start checking around you as a matter of course.
If you are walking quickly as if you know where you’re going, you are less likely to be bothered.

if i was a car designer/maker i would but in a sensor that if the lock fails the alarm would sound backfiring the tactic on the criminal.

And to prevent tail gaters: Drill a hole in an object that could cause damage to the vehicle behind you, like a tool box for example if you drive a pick up. Secure it to the bed to prevent it from actually falling off, but loose enough to make the tail gater think it will, and strike their car. Watch how fast they back off and give you room. HAHAHAHAHA.

How does a thief take a car if a person has the keys? Even if the door was not locked (because of a coin) the car shouldn't start without the keys.

I'm the exception. I don't trust nothing or nobody nowadays. You leave money or anything on my car, I'm in my, car pulling off, then checking to see if anyone is following me while I'm headed straight to police station. I had someone leave a duck on my jeep handle, every thought went thru my mind, is there a stimulate on it, is something in it to get my location. I Google it and says that is what other jeep owners do. But hey this world to crazy to trust anything
