It wasn't "missed" it was deliberate... to extend watch time.
My rule-of-thumb is to never click channels that have "BRIGHT", "SKY", or "SUN" in the channel name. They are conglomerate "content farms" and fact-checking is not a thing.

The little holes in aircraft windows have nothing to do with regulating the pressure in the cabin or allowing aircraft to fly high up in the sky. The outer window panes are robust and allow the aircraft to be pressurized so people don't get hypoxia and pass out. The inner pane is plastic. Its main purpose is to prevent passengers from scratching and damaging the critical outer panes. They also provide a slight insulation barrier by trapping air between it and the cold outer panes. The little hole is there to allow the air between the panes to balance with the changing pressure inside the cabin during climbs and descents.

The rear-view mirror tip is wrong. It's just the opposite. The tab is pushed forward toward the windshield for Daytime use and pulled backwards away from the windshield for Nighttime use. Another thing is when adjusting the mirror, always set it to Daytime before adjusting it, even if you're adjusting it at night. In that case set the mirror to nighttime after making the adjustment.
If you were to adjust the mirror the opposite way as described in the video, it won't keep an accurate adjustment when you change between day and night settings.
Interestingly, later in the video the go over the rear-view mirror again and that time they got it right.

When I read your comment, I had to stop and think for a few minutes to figure out which way was which! Lol. Interestingly enough, a lot of people don't know how that feature of the rear-view mirror works, or that there is more than one layer on the piece of equipment than just the mirror. A layer of glass is also part of the makeup and between the mirror and glass, moving that little tab changes the angle of the reflection coming into the vehicle. Another random fact for the fans! lol.

    • @RWBHere

Back in 1981 my driver taught me about that in my first driving lesson. Many people simply forget it because of sensory overload during those early lessons.
My latest car doesn't have the tab. Instead, the mirror is photochromic (or a similar word), which makes it adjust automatically, dimming bright light reflections at night.

The lettuce/ paper towel works just as well with a clean bath towel. You can get two lengths of lettuce, then roll the towel so it resembles a large roll of paper towel. Takes little fridge space, since it doesn’t need a container,I and keeps the lettuce crispy fresh for at least a week. Plus, no paper chemicals, and you can use the towel afterwards.
Also, for folks who use a coffeemaker with a filter, Walmart has brown ones, so you aren’t getting the carcinogens contained in white filters.( worse when hot liquid is run through the coffeemaker)

Okay, but that doesn't explain why it was called a fruit loop. Also, mating rituals in the '50s and '60s are insane. Like Betty Jean likes Bobby Ray 'cause she blinked twice, spun 2 times counterclockwise and farted to the left. Had she farted to the righy, it means you're friendzoned.

The F and J keys are sometimes referred to as the 'Homing' keys, which is why they get marked.
The laptop I'm typing this on actually has a similar marking on the W key, which is used for playing video games. For a PC gamer, WASD are normally used in place of the arrow keys for movement, since the right hand, which would normally use said arrow keys, is instead usually occupied with the mouse.

    • @suntexi
      @suntexi 2 роки тому +6

You use your sense of touch to find these keys. This is why it's called touch-typing. There's also one on the 5-key on the numeric keypad so you can centre your hand to touch-type numbers.

The issue with a keyboard has nothing to do with the size, how high it is or weird shape. It's how you hold your wrists. If you arch your wrists as you type it's easier on your arm/hands and avoids carpel tunnel.
I've worked on computers since 1974. I barely have carpel tunnel. I got it after I retired, not while I worked lol

With just my nose closed (and not drawing breath) for 35 seconds. Coin edges @23:01 were "worth a clipped coin" or "pinched penny" until they started milling the edges (those are those dents all the way around), making it easier to tell if it had been tampered with.
