Hi! The Queen - I´m going slightly mad. For me one of the best The Queen songs. No one can sing like Freddie Mercury. One of the greatest voice ever! 🎵🎤 Freddie died at the age of 45 1991. The Queen & Freddie Mercury´s music will live forever! 🌠 Today 5 September 2022 is Freddie Mercury´s Birthday Thanks for your The Queen & Freddie Mercury reaction! 🙂
Thank you Psyche, lovely to see this again. Saint Fred and the lads very much ploughing their own furrow. Who, but Queen, would do this? Glad you enjoyed it.
HEY BEAUTIFUL PSYCHE, THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING OUR BELOVED FARROKH’S BIRTHDAY!! ….This song actually reflects that Freddie’s AIDS medications were causing him to experience hallucinations. (There is many-a-day when I also think of this as MY THEME SONG, tho: I’m going slightly MAD!! …I think I’m already there, actually.)😸
We're assuming its about that Roger said when he turned up to the studio Freddie had been in his own for 2hrs saying ive been here do long im goung mad! And had started this song. Yes he could have been concious of possibly getting AIDS related dementia No one has said he did
@@bluebell3720 Farrokh was still his birth name; fans use the two names interchangeably all the time. (Not sure why using it would merit a negative comment? Farrokh is just a cool name.)🖖
First, daffodils are my favorite flower and I've loved this song since I was a teenager and before I knew what was really going on. Love and miss you Freddie, but most of all I am glad that you are out of pain!
Happy Freddie Birthday .. Psyche!! You look beautiful as always! 💐💐 I love this video and Freddie’s sense of humor describing the slight madness caused by the effects of the HIV drugs! Freddie commented that he & friend Peter Straker were up all night coming up with clever one-liners! My favs? “I’m one wave short of a shipwreck” and “I’m knitting with only one needle”. 😂💖🎼
@@debramoore7513 HEY DEB, I just left you a comment over on the GoldRushParanormal site, on the video he did a year ago with the Freddie spirit box s ession.... THAT IS ALL A NEW THING TO ME! I was wondering if you've watched more videos like that one, or if you have any "wisdom" to share on all of that? I'm honestly trying to wrap my head around it!!
I’ve always loved Barbra and the BeeGees. 👍👍👍. I happen to love ghe band Queen, along with millions of others, a band that originated in 1970-1991, when the lead singer died. RIP Freddie Mercury. But they’re new also repopulate from younger people now, especially after the Biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, the song being one of their most groundbreaking songs (try to react to the original Queen official video vs live, it’s worth it) and the video let to the development towards MTV, which didn’t exist in 1975 when this was released as a promotional video. Also, secondly, if you do any Queen video, people will come and ask you to react to the Live Aid full concert set from 1985, the best live performance ever, for a benefit show for famine in Africa at the time. 72,000 people at Webley stadium, awesome Queen and Freddie Mercury performance, all around. Don’t cut it up--we Queenies hate that, lol. Enjoy!!
@@psycheinc-theSLC keep doing what you do! Watch video, THEN comment. People that keep stopping the video to go off on some weird tangent really irritate me. More Queen too please. If you have not yet, find "No one but You"
Did you notice the Xray lights at the beginning? Do you wonder why Freddie is spinning in the chair at first? This storyboard was ALL Freddie. And *imo* this was his goodbye to the band. All the puns are about not being 100%. Diminished capacity. John = the fools hat (whimsy joy) and the yo-yo representing good days bad days through medical treatments, Roger = getting frustrations out (wring your neck, bonk you on the head), Brian = transformation and communication with different species (staying connected after he's gone). The couch = represented society's treatment of aids patients. Slightly Mad (angry, crazy). When the outside tempersture rises and 1,001 daffodils begin to dance in front of you ... oh dear? [what do you think that means] you're dead and just realizing it too late. outside temp rises (it's not, you're body is cooling down) flowers dance in front of you (they're not. they're growing 6.ft above you) He's driving only 3 wheels, but what about you dear (tsk tsk tsk, don't judge other's failings - look within first) And at the end he lays in the field where he will lay down in his resting spot happy and content admiring the rest of the band from there as they continue on. I've finally done it - I've gone slightly mad (he's responsible for this) this helps the survivng band members cope with survivor's guilt. I could be completely wrong. This is just how I see it. And he's singing in a calm controlled way, nice and deep register. Not sounding angry, reactionary, or like he's got a chip on his shoulder. He's in full control and command. I love ❤️ his voice in this and his choice of 'look'. Simply Spectacular 😍 ❤️
This is the 2nd to last video Freddie ever made before his untimely death. It's a very funny song. You can see how ill he is, but it didn't matter. I love the song. ❤
Freddie came up with all of it. Pure genius.
Hi dear Psyche, only Freddie was able to make a joke out of his illness, it's so bittersweet. Good music, wonderful vocals, funny video, I love it.
