To those new to fishing: Notice the length of the rod. I have different actions (light, medium light, medium) for different species, but a 7 foot rod will give you more "sweep" when casting lighter rigs and especially for setting the hook and picking up any loose line fast. A QUALITY 7 foot medium to medium light rod with a fast action is about as close as you can come to an all around rod for panfish, bass and walleyes, etc. I even use the medium for vertical jigging on the Great Lakes.
Definitely more of these videos been watching the lindners since I was a kid I like this style ya know it’s hard to cover everything out on the water but here you can sit down and go over everything
Al and Ron were the O.G.s of finesse fishing. Every time a bass angler casts a spinning rod, they're giving a nod to them and the old InFisherman crew.
I've been fishing leftover Senko worms for jigs for years. I also use old tube pieces for my Senko rig instead of an o-ring, which allows me to match colors, if not at least as close as possible. No waste here!
People are missing out if they don't fish these little guys. I just hammered the walleye out in Lake Erie during the spawn. I was outfishing the hair jig guys about 6 to 1 or more.
Ned rig🤣🤣🤣 I started fishing cut senkos like this 20+ years ago. Was just using a split shot as the weighed head. Have caught numerous bass in the 8lb to 11 pound range this way.
I have been trying this year fishing the Ned rig…. I can’t catch anything but the bottom. I snag. I guess I’m doing something wrong because people love the this rig

You can't beat the classic Ned setup!

Bet your using broken up tails of worm to. I'm a fan of both. 👍
@@roggiedale You know it!
Was fishing here in Montana on the Missouri river catching Walleye on the Ned, and ending up catching 3 large Pike as well.
The ned rig was definitely magic last year on the Mississippi river for smallies. One of my favorite baits.
Hey James it good to see you back in front of the camera.
Great fishing tip. Thanks for sharing.

great stuff.👍👍👍👍👍
Neds just work!
For sure. I would rather power fish. Some days, the fish will only bite the TRD. Thanks for sharing your great tips and videos. Well done.
Great video!

Try a lighter jig
Also purchase the ZMAN Ned jigs
with the lead bait keeper (non grip pin) and Texas rig it
I think your barn door is open there 😬
