- In this episode I am quickly leaving North Cape as bad weather is coming this way! It's a fantastic ride back south and this time I stop at Alta to admire thousands of years old rock art. I end my ride in Trømso, a city in Northern Norway with a beautiful setting.

This channel is not just an adventure motovlog, but a wealth of knowledge with beautiful scenery. That's why it fascinated me. This woman is like a space traveler who reaffirms us the beauty of the earth.
Oh yes! The world is her co-star.
Exactly what I was thinking. It's time for all of us to realize how fortunate we are to live on this beautiful planet. It's time we begin taking care of is.
Is there anyone more positive than our friend Noraly? I doubt it.
@@jkmolt 6
beautifully said Jespar. Beautifully said.
The lady is right. When u ride alone, u able to make your own decision. Thats the beauty of being alone !
Yes right! But with a nice friend is always fantastic!
The issue with riding alone is safety and emergency. Better ride in two or three bikes.
I always do my long rides alone. Not because I'm a loner but because I hate to compromise on my journeys!
@Gregory Emmanuel She share it with us. The same thing. Id rather be alone too.
Exactly, no arguments just turn the handlebar and accelerate.
Again, amazed at the quality and quantity of your content. A one woman travel channel. On air talent, screen writer, director, videographer, editor & marketing department!
You deserve a raise!
I found this podcast yesterday....It was an eye opener....There are so many ways to live your life...I spent 27 years in front of a PC....perhaps I will make a plan to get some more quality out of my life from now on

Who liked it before watching?😉
I always do that nowadays! Just knowing that there is a new fresh Itchy Boots episode is worth the thumbs up. You do not even have to see it to know that it is the highlight of the day!

A Dutch women ful loaded with warm hearth, allways positive, charming personality, beautiful in and outside, curiosity and skill and knowledge. Thank you Noraly❤️❤️Greets from an almost closed Finland🇫🇮.
yes. she is super women.
Excessive sugar-coating is always odd
If you don’t like this incredible, intelligent, awesome woman who does all this for us…YOU’RE NUTS! Even her music is appropriate for the scene and not over-bearing like some VLOGGERs…. Noraly, you’re a beautiful soul! I’m binge watching your earlier videos and think they’re great too!
That music fit those roads perfectly.
The last video I was a Geophysicist, today I became an Archeologist.
and tomorrow what?
A mechanic 👍🏼😂
Astronom...camping in open sky
A motorcyclist! duh..
@@PeterOekvist Now that is not a bad thing eh? :)
I was on a wilderness canoe trip in remote northern Ontario Canada once the kind of trip where you had to fly in and be dropped in the middle of a lake by airplane. After crossing lake to river to lake to river in this vast area that has no roads and never did, our guide brought us to a cliff wall with pictograms that were some 5,000 years old. They were had a height just where your arms could reach and of men in canoes. Talk about feeling connected to the past in a very personal way ! We did & I still do.
In France in 1994, cave paintings were discovered that are believed to be 20,000 years old. We were, are and hopefully we will remain human.
Where in Northern Ontario please.
Another thing you could do in Canada without any roads is be flown in with canoes/camping equipment etc. and travel the waterways from lake to lake with portages in between until you reach your destination where you are back to civilization or being picked up by float plane to return to civilization.

Once again you are my bright spot during another “America Gone Mad” week.
Oh, man, really feel sorry for you. Why do people think they are so different while in the end everybody wants the same, just a happy life. Good luck!
Especially, sleepy Joe Biden got elected for the presidency. America has really gone mad and lost their minds.
@@meljenkins1016 Better than that nut case!
@@pandabear153 A nut case that got everything done for the American people. Now you have a crooked president who will fill his pockets.
@@meljenkins1016 Correct Mel. Senile Joe Biden won via obvious voter fraud.
Morning coffee with Noraly, reindeer, breath taking scenery and ancient carving on glaciated rocks. Oh kay, now I can face the day....
Best way to wake up isn't it!
Same here: morning ☕ and Noraly 😊 And yesterday evening I was riding 100+ km in dark through forest alone and it was awesome 🏍️
That's just what I, too, was thinking.
Same, now will get on my bike after. Sadly its remotely as cool as what she's doing.
@Life V4Rider what god (facepalm)
Once again, I am left stunned by the beauty of Norway. This journey continues to enthrall me.
"It's actually a privilege to ride this road twice, to be honest." And to watch this video twice, to be honest! And re-watch episodes from season one, and season two!!
Absolutely! And I appreciate the early episodes even more watching them again.
👍🏼👌🏻
I have been doing that randomly. Yesterday I came across S2 Ep70, very funny! Noraly realising it is impossible to get Dhanno on the boat after all the captains get confused, then the lovely family with the little girl and her grandfather whose shoes are torn!
And three and four and five.
doing the same A her videos are just awesome, B incase i forgot to give the video a thumps up
The cemetery outside my home town in West Central Minnesota is called Tromso pioneer cemetery from the first Norwegian settlers in Minnesota! (My great- great grandfather was a pastor from Tromso)
Would you have any written memoirs/diary entries of their travel and assimilation into the greater North American culture? Would love to know more about immigrants from a different time.
@@saideepakb there are many such books. Do a Google search for "immigrants from Norway to America..."
@@saideepakb If you are also interested in those stories from a Swedish perspective I suggest reading the Utvandrarna books by Swedish author Vilhelm Moberg. The first book might be called The Emigrants in English. The people in the books are made up, but based on much research.
A dirty bike is the sign of an appreciated bike - it's being ridden. Riding in the rain counts as washing. ;-)
ok, i am not so romantic; if it taste salty it's just the "wind" on the ferry
The dirt tells the story...never came home with a clean bike!
Well, the bike is dirty because of the salt on the road, not the ferry. She need to wash that bike fast and dont wait for a rain :/
Noraly l know that you probably won't see this but some times l cannot put in to words how l am feeling what l see it's completely outstanding material it's out there with the best if not for you sharing the incredible journey of yours s1 .s2 .s3 l congratulate you on a beautiful journey 💪🙏

What’s also interesting is that in evolutionary terms we homosapien Neanderthal mix are relatively still the same emotional intellectual animal. What’s changed is the development of our ideas and the social tools/language to convey them.

You are truly a blessing to those of us that are unable to travel the wilds. We all love being with you on you adventures. Be safe out there and please keep the videos coming.
noraly your choice of music is all ways so right for the landscape and the scenery for wich your riding in well done .
I loved the windnoise. It gave the clip an authentic feeling, and your voice was still very clear .
Either Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman giving her the thumbs down since she is doing it all by herself. No chase or support vehicle with mechanics. There is no reason not to like her videos.
Exactly. No over-sized overweight 'real-man' BMW R1200GS with IKEA-sized panniers and Touratech gizmos: just pure motorcycle touring as it's meant to be. Voted.
I'm yet to meet a fellow Noraly enthusiast who even notices the dislikes.... 😄....
They are inconsequential...... Haters --- eat your hearts out -- she's simply the best. That too by a long long shot.
Unfair on those two. Try to understand the thumbsdown as a tool to manipulate the popularity of a story and which ones rises to the top of the Twitter /Facebook etc news feeds. Gregor and Boorman most likely are watching this and giving it a thumbs up like we all are.
Exactly. Those Gregor and Boorman are not real ADV riders. I have watched few of their videos. They have different kind of stuff helping them. They are driving with a caravan of people who help them.
yeah I’m sure they both love her channel as we all do.
All through this video, Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" was going through my head. ♪♫ I see skies of blue♫♪ Clouds of white ♪♫☼...And I think to myself, what a wonderful world♪♫♪ Thank you Noraly for bringing it to me. Be safe and keep the rubber side down. 🏍
An excellent soundtrack for the riding sequences.
If there needed to be words with the music she plays, for this episode, THAT would be the ones I'd be singing too! Good choice Igziabeher. OH, YEAH 😁
This UA-cam channel should be available at all schools for children to watch and learn and appreciate what an amazing world we live in. Great work Noraly !'''
i totally agree...
Norway is so beautiful so you have to ride the road at least twice. Once in each direction 🇳🇴👍
She even said it was a privilege. What a beautiful thing to say
I can understand her humbleness. As I live in Sweden I am blessed to be able to visit Norway often and the last couple of years we have visit Norway a couple of times per year, sadly not this year. I just can get enough of the norwegian landscape it’s breath taking. 🇳🇴🏔
Love the Norway trip so far, still my favorite country in the world
The music is just so perfect for the sceneries. Its very viking'ish and it made me sentimental. So beautiful.
These landscapes are just stunning. One can only be in a good mood. Exatly as Noraly :-)
The best things with riding alone is that you call the shots and it´s a ton easier to interact with people. Great video as usual.
11:40 gave me the chills, what a valley!
Wat een gelukkige momenten in prachtige landschappen met schitterend weer én op de motor! Noraly, proficiat voor je knappe montages!

You will be suprised how good most Scandinavians are at english, you saw the two old ladies didnt hesitate speaking it. With that said, hope you will be able to travel 'up' here soon! Plan to stay for as many weeks as possible, not just Norway is worth a visit, Sweden Denmark Iceland and maybe Finland should keep you busy and excited.
Oh my God !!!! NORUEGA ES MARAVILLOSO !!! Se ve tan pacifico, quisiera vivir ahí. Qué paisajes tan hermosos. Enséñanos un poco más de su gente !
We visited Norway once from the States but you are taking us to new places! So beautiful. There's so many beautiful places in the world. Thanks so much!
Noraly, I also love to ride alone from here in Texas and can explore whatever and whenever. Absolutely love your genuine love of riding and enthusiasm....you are truly a sincere and genuine gem!
For me watching videos like this are aspirational - I aspire to do the same thing as Noraly and take my bike on these long trips, having an adventure. The cool thing is that it IS within reach but I have the same things to deal with as she does... Visas, Covid tests, ferries, breakdowns, budgets, sickness etc...
Itchy Boots is real and that is why i think its is so great, its relatable. There is nothing relatable about having 2 support vehicles, camera crews and doctors travelling with you.
As fondly as I will remember Long way Round and Down - they did it first (on TV) - it was of a time and things have moved on.
There is a saying in the news business - 'don't become the story' and it seems that unfortunately the size of the LONG WAY machine with all it's fixers, cast and crew I feel that has happened. The story is constantly how this huge travelling circus is struggling along when it would be much more enjoyable to see the environment and awesome people along the way. There are only so many times I can see some electric car getting towed along because its run out of battery and care.
Someone like Noraly with the amount of followers and views on youtube is making the decisions you and I make ... Ill choose the previous model CB500X because Its more affordable than the new one... No one is standing in front of her with half a dozen $1500 jackets for her to choose from...
Sorry Long Way! You're awesome Itchy Boots!! :)
Very beautiful background music...it suits the scenery! Love it...safe ride Noraly!
I always forget how beautiful my country is🇧🇻
omg north norway is so amazing i want to go now! :)
Thor: Should I mix the weather up a little bit? Eeh no, I will just watch the next Itchy Boots video. This girl has a wild card from me.
In Norway lowest temperature is -3°C , in Moscow -30°C, I thought that it's autumn when I was there
Different people, different countries, different places, different times, after all we are humans with the same aspirations, same fears and we love enjoying the small things of everyday life. Thanks Noraly for show us these small pieces of our world. 💪🏻

Hello Noraly. Greetings from New Zealand. I follow your channel, love the adventures and the beautiful scenery. I admire your passion, determination and courage.
I found your Itchy boots videos from Sweden and have watched them all (I'm Swedish), then all from Iceland + some others and now Norway. You are a strong, courageous woman!
Watch her episodes from Iran and Central Asia. They're epic
The central asia ones are amazing too!

Your a philosopher in addition to your other talents. The two old ladies understood why you do what you do with two sentences. You go wherever you choose, when you chose. And the speed, the motorbike. Says it all. Beutiful scenery and history. Thank you.
My eyes and ears are deceiving me. I could have sworn I saw a picture of my mother-in-law on one of those rocks.

I loved seeing those sites again. After living in Canada for the past 19 years, I never will forget the impact that Norway made on me when visiting, with a motorbike, from the Netherlands in 1998. I always said I was gonna go again but it never happened (emigrating to the other side of the ocean will do that).

The scenary is just beautiful and the camera is capturing all the colours. What a beautiful ride, what a spectacular journey. Be safe and thankyou for sharing this moment in time, with us all.
The petroglyphs are carved in pale rock (reported sandstone in "The World Heritage Rock Art in Alta," but possibly dolomite or volcanic tuff) over which a glacier previously traversed and later melted. The glacier left behind a smooth surface of glacial polish (ideal for rock carvings), glacial striations (linear groves in the rock surface which point in the direction the glacier moved most recently before melting), concave-shaped chatter marks (from cobbles at the base of the glacier which were pressed down against and gouged the rock face), and long, smooth scours. Classic glacial geology!
I would think it is not sandstone but limestone or a morphed rock from Limestone
when the sun is out Norway is very beautiful !......memories came flooding in !!!
I'm so glad you did get to Norway, when you had decided not to. Norway looks like an amazing place for an adventure.

That section towards the end of this video, with the calming music and beautiful, beautiful scenery alongside the fjord, was one of the nicest pieces of video I have ever seen on any programme and took me away to another time and place. Thank you Noraly.
The shots from the ferry were awesome.... some beautiful scenery in this ride. Thanks, Noraly! Safe riding.
Nothing more attractive to me than a bike with covered in road grime.
It looks like the "salt" from the salt n sand that they put on the roads to avoid black ice
Riding that track again you get to view it in the opposite order. The views are stunning.
Had to watch a couple more times just to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the fjords and mountains. A real treat to see!
Ride on Norally and take us along for the sights!
The paintings and carvings are so cool. Hard to believe they only recently discovered them. Wow. Beautiful countryside you had today. Looked incredible!
I never minded "backtracking", as long as the roads were nice and the sceneris were good, you are headed in a completry new direction and seeing everything from a different perspective. I have watched all your travels and really admire your sense of adventure. As you were getting on one of the boats, I noticed you wearing one helmet and carrying a second. Why do you travel with two? Be safe.
I think it was the tank bag she was carrying.
Yes sometimes backtracking can feel like a totally different road due to the difference in perspective and view ahead!
It was the tank bag under her arms.
It's a bag she was carrying, not another helmet.
