I may recall when we learned that Ross was the father of Rachel's baby, and once again Joey's eyes bulged when he realized that. However, it took a while before it dawned on him, despite the fact they already established the person who owned the red sweater slept with Rachel and was, therefore, the father. Here, however, he actually had to piece information together, and he did that in mere seconds. This is definitely one of Joey's brightest moments.

@@vardhman I figured it was referring to whatever other plots were going on in the episode. After a little Google searching, I found that the other plot involves Ross stepping away from the friend group because Emily didn't want him to see Rachel anymore. That somehow leads to Rachel and Phoebe deciding that if one of them is ever "phased out" of the group that they would both go and form their own group. But Phoebe only agrees if they take Joey with them. I guess her remark in this clip is Phoebe thinking that Monica and Chandler are aware of the plan and want to keep Joey in their group. At least, I think that's the gist of it based on the episode summaries I could find. haha
And Phoebe’s “they don’t know that we know that they know we know” and Rachel,” and Joey, you can’t tell them!”… his response: “”Couldn’t if I wanted to.” So perfect in delivery!
Yeah, I love that chemistry between the three, since Joey is Chandler's best friend slash brother, and Monica to him is a mix between a big sister and a hot friend.
Friends is just a timeless classic. Even in 2021 this show still makes me feel good. With what's going on with Covid at the minute every time I watch even clips like this, it just takes me away.
YEEEEEES!! It STILL brings tears to my eyes from laughing so hard when I watch it. I'm trying to figure out a way to make that reaction my ringtone on my phone.
0:46 When watching that scene retroactively, you can tell that when Joey started talking to Chandler about the eyelash curler, he looked like he was about to high-five him on hooking up and not mock him for using an eyelash curler. His facial expression and body language fits both scenarios perfectly, so no wonder Chandler misunderstood his intentions.
The episodes where the Chandler and Monica love affair is found are some of the best of the show. Unforgettable reactions and performances of the crew, specially Matt and David
Don’t mind adding Ross and Rachel behaving more maturely, including treating each other with more respect and dignity. Feeling like a “breath” of fresh air vs season 4. The only disappointment being you of course would have loved to see Ross/Rachel back.
Decided to rewatch this in Matthew's memory. I've made up my mind not to cry, and that I should be happy that he existed to make us all laugh. Thank you, Matthew Perry. You are loved, and forever will be.
I notice that later in the series, Joey starts to get more mature while being in a relationship with Rachel. This moment right here, was the fastest mystery solving he ever did the series! One more thing, "In London!"
Still kinda find it funny that Ross could’ve found out through the prank phone call that Joey made to Chandler, “hello Mr. Bing, I love you” because Chandler could’ve said “I have a girlfriend.”
Matt LeBlanc is an exceptional actor that was typecast early in his career - if you haven’t seen “Episodes” yet (which was co-created by David Crane, one of the creators of “Friends”) it’s worth every minute. Also, 1:15 is one of the best lines of the entire show.

Can I just say how brilliant it was that the writers had Joey, of all people, figure it out first lol. And he had to put two and two together, which is very unlike him. Just amazing writers.
Right? Now, looking back on it, it reminds me of the scene where Hank is sitting on the toilet and realizes who Heisenberg is.
Anything related to sex, Joey’s an expert with haha
Ross: “I went to that tanning place your wife suggested.”
Chandler: “Was that place the sun?”
what has this got to do with the video?
I love that he says "your wife" instead of "my sister"! Makes it even funnier!
ahahhahahahahah
wrong video, mate lolol
Trust me its funny

One of my favorite scene/moment in the entire show...just look at Joey's face when he does find out....
You can see the light bulb 💡
Oh it's absolutely my favorite. Nothing else on the show ever made me laugh that hard. Comedic genius from both the writers and Matt LeBlanc.
Rewatching these hilarious moments is so hard now. Rest in peace Matthew Perry. Thank you for always being our friend, Chandler Bing. ❤
The look on his face when he figured it out was priceless. 😂😂😂
1:40😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Joey is so sweet. He was shocked but happy about them and still promised to keep it a secret when he was dying to tell someone. I love him.
Joey: "IN LONDON??!!"
Gets me every time
"They tryna' get Joey" kills me every time 😂😂
3:06 😆
No, they are trying to “take” Joey which is even funnier 😂
@@vardhman I figured it was referring to whatever other plots were going on in the episode. After a little Google searching, I found that the other plot involves Ross stepping away from the friend group because Emily didn't want him to see Rachel anymore. That somehow leads to Rachel and Phoebe deciding that if one of them is ever "phased out" of the group that they would both go and form their own group. But Phoebe only agrees if they take Joey with them. I guess her remark in this clip is Phoebe thinking that Monica and Chandler are aware of the plan and want to keep Joey in their group.
At least, I think that's the gist of it based on the episode summaries I could find. haha
@@marcw6875 Good work!!
Joey figuring out that Chandler & Monica were together is hands down THE BEST SCENE of the entire series. I never get tired of watching that clip.
And Phoebe’s “they don’t know that we know that they know we know” and Rachel,” and Joey, you can’t tell them!”… his response:
“”Couldn’t if I wanted to.” So perfect in delivery!
Phoebe seeing them do it is the best scene of the series and Lisa kudrow's acting skills are just😍
Nah the Phoebe vs chandler sex battle is the best for me
Chandler's face when joey finally figures 😄😄
He was like: oh shi... he found out 😳
1:47 - 1:49
Can we take a second to appreciate Phoebe's teleportation skills
Nice catch 😂
🤣
She jumped over the sopha. Only possible, sadly not funny as yours, explanation.
@@canaldenomegenerico2114 jumped over the sofa, then quickly switched spots.
her hair was stuck to the camera, so when they turned quickly to joey she got drag by her hair and thrown onto the couch
One of the most iconic scenes ❤
Totally agree!! 👍👍
@@LukeKetchum7003 I couldn't agree more!
IKR!
👍👍
@@The_Beast_666😅
I love how Joey cares for his friends and always asks how’s everybody doing. Small things make a difference
2:55 Joey's reactions are seriously adorable in this scene. Btw Joey is far and away the best supporter of Mondler 🥺
And Phoebe for Roschel☺️
@@rengasri_4 Right on the nail.
2:52 That damn smile
The funniest part is how chandler physically controlling joey.🤣🤣🤣
1:59 😆😂😂
In London!!
Whoever's idea to have Joey be the first in the group to find out about Chandler and Monica and have to keep it a secret is a genius 😂.
Yeah, joey was my last guess to figure to it out.
All of them have funny moments like this when they figure it out too 🤣
Yeah, I love that chemistry between the three, since Joey is Chandler's best friend slash brother, and Monica to him is a mix between a big sister and a hot friend.
And for Joey to be the only one that actually deduces it out of the clues, and doesn't just stumble into/across it like the rest. Genius!
Friends is just a timeless classic. Even in 2021 this show still makes me feel good. With what's going on with Covid at the minute every time I watch even clips like this, it just takes me away.
this show is fucking gold i been rewatching since the reunion and this shit is laugh out loud comedy bruh
IN LONDONN???
man that's the funniest part, i laugh it every time I watch.
The writing involved on how Joey finds out is absolute genius
The head-tilt at the Donald Trump story, the bulging eyes and the "OOH! AH! OOH!" will always be one of my favourite scenes of this entire series 😂
Totally normal about Trump and the elevator...until "EYELASHES" come to light. XD
Joey was like, wait, where did I hear that story? Then the eyelash curler he was like, OH, CHANDLER TOLD ME!!
That part cracks me up bc if I put 2 and 2 together I would've reacted the same way. I also relate to Joey bc I get excited easily
1:36 joeys face he knows something is up
He let that go the first one about DT elevator however he could not resist on eye lash part. He knew he figured it out.
*The "OOH! OHHHHH!" when he points between the two of them always makes me laugh so hard I cry!* 😂😂😂
And the eyes. That was so funny!
YEEEEEES!! It STILL brings tears to my eyes from laughing so hard when I watch it. I'm trying to figure out a way to make that reaction my ringtone on my phone.
Kills me everytime. Probably my favourite bit of any episode of Friends.
@@what31601 DITTO!!!
Man, that deduction technique by Joey is actually a top notch 😂
2:18 gets me every time.
Joey's moment of glory in the show! Where he figured something out before everyone else!
Matt Perry's facial expressions here are brilliant. All three actors were so, so good
Joey is the Sherlock Holmes of Doing It.

1:42 Joey is the best 😂😂

He put the same face when they find out that Ross' was the one who was with Rachel (when their relationship started) 😂
Chandlers face right after is hilarious too lol
The episodes where the Chandler and Monica love affair is found are some of the best of the show. Unforgettable reactions and performances of the crew, specially Matt and David
Defo the best of the show, combined with Ross' mental breakdown.
RIP Matthew. Thank you for all the laughs. We will miss you ❤
Season 5 was spectacular only cuz of monica chandler relationship.
Don’t mind adding Ross and Rachel behaving more maturely, including treating each other with more respect and dignity. Feeling like a “breath” of fresh air vs season 4. The only disappointment being you of course would have loved to see Ross/Rachel back.
It's what finally got me to watch the show regularly. Ross & Rachel always just made me cringe.
I HAVE TO TELL SOMEONE!
1:39 Joey’s reaction is so priceless🤣
Wrong timestamp my dear friend. 😊
It’s @ 1:44 to be precise!😉
@2:08 when Junior finds out that mom and dad are getting back together but the rest of the family isn’t ready.
Decided to rewatch this in Matthew's memory. I've made up my mind not to cry, and that I should be happy that he existed to make us all laugh.
Thank you, Matthew Perry. You are loved, and forever will be.
Matt Le Blanc doesn't get enough credit as an actor. This is some stellar comic acting!
The way Matty hugged Courtney you can see he really cared about her ❤
Friends forever.
2:07 Monica and Chandler look like two parents who have discovered their son's secret.
Innit the opposite? A son who found out his parents' secret?
02:19+02:20+02:21+02:22
he is badly underrated as a pure physical comedian, he is the straight man who lets the comedy flow around him
Joey was such a good friend. Took no end of embarrassment and even kept his mouth shut when the other friends started to find out
The moment you realize Joey is the smartest person on Friends.
Trust me its funny
ua-cam.com/video/1BqmIogwrpk/v-deo.html
You mean Matt leblanc?
I notice that later in the series, Joey starts to get more mature while being in a relationship with Rachel. This moment right here, was the fastest mystery solving he ever did the series! One more thing, "In London!"
This show you can still go back to at anytime and enjoy it and still laugh .classic 😃
2:19 best moment ever.
1:51 in an alternate universe Chandler got carried away and accidentally murdered Joey.Hes now doing 25 to life.
Oh Pheobe..."They're trying to take Joey!" my favorite line of this whole thing, lol!!!
This entire show was gold comedy from start to finish
They should make a reunion special
They did
Still kinda find it funny that Ross could’ve found out through the prank phone call that Joey made to Chandler, “hello Mr. Bing, I love you” because Chandler could’ve said “I have a girlfriend.”
omg yessss i always thought that
@@jenna8535 Glad I found someone who thought that too
Out of everyone, I never thought it would be Joey.
Matt LeBlanc is an exceptional actor that was typecast early in his career - if you haven’t seen “Episodes” yet (which was co-created by David Crane, one of the creators of “Friends”) it’s worth every minute. Also, 1:15 is one of the best lines of the entire show.
Joey had the best reaction of them all, in my opinion. His face of realisation never gets old!
Joey's scream while tackled to the bed is the greatest thing ever
So hilarious! Leblanc really is underrated. He's a pretty talented entertainer.
Joey figuring something out is just the best thing haha!
1:43 😂😂😂😂
"In London!!!" Had me screaming on the floor!!! After so many years, this still hits all the funny buttons!!🤣🤣🤣
The delivery was so perfect.
Joey: I have to tell someone
Monica and Chandler: NOOOO (pushes him back on the bed)
Thanks for telling us.
If you wouldn't have left this comment, I would have never known.
1:07 His voice was shaking😂
I just love Chandlers face twitching the moment he realizes "SHIT, he's going to figure it out!"
