For instance, Chandler meets Rachel in season 1 (1994). Then, in the same flashback episode, he meets her again.
Then in season 5 (1998) he meets Rachel when they were young, at the Thanksgiving episode.
Those are 3 different meetings in just 4 years of show.

antred11 I think if you are used to being beautiful it can hard to accept aging and being perceived as less beautiful - especially as an actress there is a lot of pressure. If you were always average or ugly you are used and it doesn’t bother you so much because no one ever valued you for it. Obviously a lot of less attractive people get very upset and focused on their looks too but I think that is why attractive people can be the least secure.

My dad knew two guys, twins, that acted really feminine and everyone, including my dad thought they were gay when he first met them. Both were straight, turns out they grew up with a single mother and they unconsciously copied her mannerisms. They said they didn't realize they were doing it until it was already a firmly ingrained habit and basically too late.

Chandler was so freakshly handsome in the early seasons especially till season 4. Every girl dreams of such a partner who is so handsome,humorous, caring and good at heart. Idk why got addicted in the later life and ruined himself in that manner. He otherwise could have a promising career with a lot of potentials.

He got divorced 3 times, had many failed relationships, lost the girl that he truly liked, and the first marriage ended in a cheating period so yea he has the right to let out his emotions

Continuity error. This video was taken from season 1, the Thanksgiving thing is almost in the final season... it is strange, though, this episode is memorable.
I'm not sure why people keep bringing that up. Was that her first time supposedly meeting Chandler? It may have not been their actual first time meeting, and she could have still found him attractive. Even if she assumed that he was gay.
When Shelley said, "Hey, gorgeous..." I thought, yep I agree. I ❤ Chandler.
I have the same problem. Girls always think I’m gay and so I’ve asked some girls why, and many have said “Well you’re cute, easy to talk to and really nice.” So being nice, attractive and able to hold a conversation makes you come off as gay.
You probably have some innocence about you so they see you like a "brother" type..which isnt bad. They just dont see you in that "light" idk your age but its usually a maturity thing. A lot of men who start off that way and then mature with more strong masculine energy but still kind hearted and gentle. Are the best husbands. So basically.....practice being more Assertive. Say what you want. Be willing to go after what you want in life. Mean what you say. Show up! Take ACTION. Dont sit on the side line. Take risks. Dont be afraid of rejection. Not just with women but in life. Be a leader. Honestly if you study leadership and practice it in life your good

It's funny because in the pilot, Jennifer Aniston actually did think the character was gay at first, and the only way she found out he wasn't was because someone on the show told her he wasn't (or at least that's the way she made it sound, the the first part is a fact)
