As menacing as Mike Tyson was in his prime for those few years it’s hard to believe you could face a more destructive opponent than George Foreman in his prime. Ali lived up to his billing as The Greatest to strategize and survive that gauntlet only to finally put his man down.
Agree. Tyson moved through people, was dynamic and basically psychologically destroyed people. Prime foreman had even more KO power while barely moving. He could knock people out cold without putting any kind of body English into it. He'd just swing an arm and down they go. A wrecking ball of a man.
I was 18 when this fight took place. I was a huge Ali fan, but I knew what Foreman had done to Frazier and Norton, and was afraid he was going to kill Ali. I could not believe it when I read the sports page the next day that Ali had won. When they showed the fight later on TV, I loved every second of it. Ali had become Heavyweight Champion of the World again. Amazing. R.I.P. CHAMP.❤

Then he shouts at George "Is That all you got?" George is tiring and stunned at the courage of this man. Then with 30 seconds left in a round he's lost, Ali still has the strength, the intelligence, the speed and power to explode off the ropes and land some quality sharp combos to the head AND.... at 7:51 he manhandles him like the cool kid standing up to the bully.
