Close ! I had so much fun cooping with my brother against her. We got better and eventually won as Bros. I got mine on solo, not as exciting lol (i mean she IS hard, but fair, quite fun, but the feeling to beat her with your Friend/Bro is better)
I can't name anything more accurate then this, going to the first without getting hit is the best accomplishment, but when you get hit after that, its done, the adrenaline is gone, means you already died before you even died

Techinically it's not even about mechanical skill or overall time spent. You must learn every boss to each tiny pixel of his attacks. Every time will be as first. Especially considering new bosses have a lot of bamboozle attacks and very tricky combos.

@@clankymocha true, they're reactable but you have to actively be constantly thinking to react to them or outspace them, and its damn annoying when a charge attack would be safe but the uppercut hits you (like it did to you here) specially if she also does a full 180 for it. Still the fight is pretty fun but just make that a little bit slower and it would be much more fun imo
She's wet and he has lightning infused sword, so he deals additional damage. Enemies that have wet condition are weaker against lightning and stronger against fire.
I feel like this is the only boss I didn’t really like tbh. It wasn’t hard, it just felt like a re-do of Malenia. The movements, the rhythm of the fight, the fighting style, idk. It just felt exactly like fighting Malenia again. I even did the exact same playstyle and moves as I did against Malenia and won. Maybe she’s slightly harder (arguably) but that’s about it. Other than that I really like the design itself.

Sister Friede, Lady Maria, Malenia and Rellana all have the same rhythm and fighting style to them. While yes, their moves are different and they do different ailments and statuses etc, their general pattern and flow of the fight is the same. Even their second phases (third for Friede) is the exact same change of pace as well. To go from a slower, more melodic based fighting style to an intense rush down of endless attacks. Look all of those boss fights up, they all follow the same formula. You could even call them each the “Malenia” of their respective games/DLCs.

Yes, it doesn't do stance damage, but it powers up the stance damage of your guard counter, tremendously so. The basic gameplay loop ends up being the same.
