Background
Healthcare workers (HCWs) are vulnerable to getting infected withSARS-CoV-2
Preventing HCWs from getting infected is a priority to maintain healthcare services
The therapeutic and preventive role of ivermectin in COVID-19 is being investigated
Based on promising results of in vitro studies of oral ivermectin,
this study to look at prophylactic role of oral ivermectin
Methods
Prospective cohort study was conducted at AIIMS Bhubaneswar
Two-doses of oral ivermectin, 300 μg/kg at a gap of 72 hours
Primary outcome, COVID-19 infection in the month following
Of 3892 employees,
3532 (90.8%) participated in the study
Ivermectin uptake n = 2, 384 (67.5%)
Non uptake, n = 1147 (32.5%)
Results
Development of symptomatic infection
331 participants, developed symptoms
131 in takers
200 from non takers
Ivermectin takers, 6%
Non takers, 15%
Testing positive, 201
Ivermectin takers, 2%
Non takers, 11.7%
Implications for transmission
HCWs who had taken two-doses
(Single dose did not reach significance)
Significantly lower risk of contracting COVID-19 disease during the following month was 0.18
Adjusted Relative Risk 0.17
1.8% reported adverse events, mild and self-limiting
Conclusion and relevance
Two-doses of oral ivermectin (300 μg/kg given 72 hours apart) as chemoprophylaxis among HCWs
reduces the risk of COVID-19 infection by 83% in the following month.
Safe, effective, and low-cost chemoprophylaxis have relevance in the containment of pandemic

My whole family had covid here in India. Our condition improved a lot after we started taking this medicine. We all recovered in home isolation. Almost every doctor is recommending this medicine now in my state.
Hopefully labs there are making it on a high scale now. It's been unfortunate to hear what's happened in some areas. My husband and I are in the Carolina's, US. We were able to get it from our doctor.

@@TheColleenneelloc Yeah, over here it's about selling a product and hiding anything that might be competition. My husband researched Ivermectin and we had to bring it up with the doctor. If we didn't the doctor wouldn't of done anything. Even then I'm sure many doctor's would of just said to take the gene changing vaccine. Meanwhile, some countries came up with a dead cell vaccine, Cuba and somewhere in Indonesia. From our understanding. We can't get that one though. It's not allowed. Politics and pharma wanting to sell their gene changing brand. I don't know. We're working with Ivermectin at this point.

If government personnel at every level were not compliant in this endeavor, there would have been a standardized protocol in place for the PCR testing for verification and audit purposes of every aspect of PCR accuracy being performed on the public where the epidemiological data supplied to the government adversely affected the public. You need to listen to the video with Dr. Pierre Kory regarding ivermectin. Positive information regarding alternatives to expensive drugs and vaccines has been censored. There was just a recent study by JAMA regarding children wearing face masks which was pulled because it didn’t fit the Liberal narrative.
These alternatives aren’t being studied for the most part because they are cheap. There’s no money to be made. Besides, you don’t need any studies when you can see and hear with your own senses that people get better after taking various supplements and cheap drugs or they don’t get sick at all. I don’t need a study to tell me that if I walk into on coming traffic I’ll get hit by a car, do you? And we don’t need studies to tell us something works when one person after another gets better! When you have pharmacists and politicians telling doctors that they can’t prescribe a drug that has safely been used for decades, SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG!!

This is why we need double-blind, placebo-controlled studies to determine if a drug is useful or not. There are several studies that are controlled on HCQ and ivermectin and they show no more effectiveness than placebo.
Well, Asprin has been safely given to people for decades, but it would be foolish to use that as justification for using it to treat a gunshot wound. right?
My husband and I took ivermectin. Complete recovery after 2 weeks. 92 year old grandfather took it as well. Felt much better on day 3 after we gave it to him. We begged his doctor for mercy. He was bedridden for almost a week before his doctor reluctantly agreed. Complete recovery!

Excellent talk - very simply done - well organized and easy to understand. The study did seem to offer up a rather low dose regimen. FLCCC says to take weekly afterwards and other add ons like Vitamin D, quercetin, Zinc etc. Perhaps, even better results would have been gotten. Nevertheless, still got good results. I am sold.

@Luther Blissett what the hell is your point? Yes it is used for horses but it’s also for human use. My girlfriend and her family tested positive for covid last week, called a doctor for a telemedicine appointment and got ivermectin prescribed that day.
People love to fight the establishment and at times they are right to do so. There's also plenty of times where they just make the problem worse. Did they get it prescribed? If not how/where did they get it? If it's the version for livestock did they consider the dosage? Did they even consider the drug interactions that might have? Would they admit to taking it to a doctor so they'll know not to prescribe other medications?
It's not the people that do their research that worry me. It's the people that don't. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

A couple of judges in New York State, ordered doctors to give

All the mainstream media has been told to behave as if Ivermectin doesn't exist. Not just no discussion, nobody is allowed to even mention the name. Many thousands of people have died because Ivermectin was withheld. That's a crime against humanity. I really don't know how the editors and presenters can sleep at night. If Ivermectin's efficacy had been discussed in newspapers, news TV channels etc. when doctors first found out how effective it was at saving lives, people would have been asking why it wasn't fast tracked to get official confirmation and approved for use with Covid.
We all know why, of course, my point is that because it was hushed up everyone wrongly thought that vaccines were the best and only way of dealing with Covid, there was no pressure to do the right thing. I can't see the point in getting vaccinated as well as taking Ivermectin. God knows there have been so many horrific side-effects suffered you would have to be mad to voluntarily agree to being injected with the stuff.
Before you say that you haven't heard of many people getting horrific side-effects you must realise that you are still being lied to. There's no way that we are being given the true picture of the number of people who have had shocking side-effects. One extremely fit guy immediately got pains in his foot and within a few weeks he had his leg amputated from just below the knee.
He is not keen to have the second injection.
Imagine if the mainstream media were allowed to do their job and report responsibly on all this. People would then realise how they've been the victims of a terrible fraud from the start. It would be inetersting to know what they were all threatened with to make them all comply with just reporting the propaganda.
Of course those on UA-cam would not want their channel to be taken down or de-monetised, but what about the newspaper editors and radio stations. What were the threats made to them? I just don't know how they sleep at night. Knowing that they were complicit in the death of many thousands of people that didn't need to die.

Even if mass vaccination DURING the epidemic (something not tried before) may itself push the virus into v-resistant mutations and make it more dangerous, according to vaccinologist Geert Canden Bossche, who claims top experts agree with him in private but are too intimidated to go public. This is a huge circus.

It seems to be fairly positive news but this social media content which shows only the positive studies whilst ignoring the rest is not going to impress anyone in an actual position of responsibility is it? I want to see an explanation for why these larger, better studies always show it to be ineffective. Is it dose related? Because Lopez-Medina wasn't just giving two doses, it was 5x 300mcg/kg/day, with no effect at all on patients who were still only experiencing mild symptoms.
You look around at this crap on social media (supposedly from decent actual medical/biomedical sources) and one channel is saying yeah it's amazing but it has to be prophylactic, and then the next channel has some piss-poor pointless anecdotal tale about how it miraculously cures long covid (when the virus which it supposedly inhibits isn't even present). So which is it? Why the confusion? Presumably an abject lack of evidence that can be called in any way conclusive!
It's hard to disagree that in the middle of situations like we currently have in India and Brazil and Mexico and Indonesia (and even half of Europe still), the burden of proof for rolling out a drug that's understood to be safe can be lowered on the off chance, while more evidence is obtained, but at the same time you can hardly blame the people in charge for being underwhelmed and disinterested in something that mysteriously becomes useless whenever you run a large double blind randomised control trial can you?
If you worked anywhere close to these fields you'd know that this stuff happens all the time. That's why the requirement that trials of a certain standard are always run exists in the first place, before drugs are approved and dished out. You can prove anything you want if your experimental design is bad enough.
I certainly want to know why these other trials failed if it's not simply for the absense of bias before I'm remotely interested in this. It does seem positive in that there aren't many trials that are showing negative effects of this (that would negate the many positive ones) but unless things are randomised properly and controlled with real placebos you can never claim that your positive results aren't just a consequence of human emotion and bias getting in the way. And again, when that is taken out of the equation, if a drug does actually work you the good quality data will highlight its efficacy, not completely obliterate it like we're currently seeing. Maybe it just needs to be given at the right time at the right dose and better metrics obtained which will prove that, but maybe it's just a load of BS and this is all a waste of time and resources.
Many including myself have been warning you for months that there is a scam going on. Big Pharma don't care about your health - they only care about bringing in money through their "vaccine" programs! They will go to great lengths to prevent alternative treatments coming to market. It is a generic drug, this is the prime reason it is not being pushed. Watched interviews with other experts talking about early treatment. It is not only ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine that are being censored. Apparently any posts about ANY forms of early treatment have been censored.
