That van needs to be on show at a camping/caravan show, you've taken everything to the next level. And yes the fridge looks cool 😂😂
I’m watching from Costa Rica, Central America. I am retired mechanical engineer, 82YO and loves fishing however that is in the past for me. I fished inland waters of Wisconsin in the states where I was a very happy fisherman. I enjoy watching you as you are my kind of person, happy (as much as possible) you do things right and you fish very well. I will post more.
Hi Arthur.
Welcome! And thank you for joining us.
I love to hear everyone's stories of where they come from and how our channel helps or reminds them of days gone by.
I hope you'll stick with us as we have much, much more to do.😁👌
All the very best from Bonnie Scotland, sir.😁👌
Another great video.
Thank you, Danny.😁👌
I always enjoyed my small boat compared to the larger one I had. Just the feeling of being more connected.
Your absolutely right, and if the weathers too bad, you can just go back to the harbour.
With the bug boats...not so much.🌬🌬🌊🌊😂😂😂😂😉👍
That's good powerful music Barry.
Thank you very much indeed.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.😍😁👌
Thanks so much for taking us out on your boat! As a land-locked person, I once had a very memorable boat ride from Ventura CA to the Channel Islands. OMG it was Very Choppy. People on deck got soaked, and I wondered how my ancestors from Scandinavia ever sailed to North America - lol. I appreciated when you said that your camera didn't pick up on how choppy it was, and I believed you immediately. I am really enjoying watching the Lyndsey B come into manifestation from the beginning. And once in a while, like today, I skip ahead.
Thanks so much for posting!
Hello Val.
Thank you so much for your very wonderful comment.

Good to see you back again, that was great, Lynsey B realy is amazing, she seems so small way out there but handling things no bother. The colour of the sea and the sky was like a painting, realy beautiful, it was great to see those 2 big lobsters, and very wise not to take chances, I loved this video, great to see you back again

Oh, that boat, is a little cracker. Very, VERY proud of her.😍😁👌
Have a great weekend bud
All the very best 😉👍
Great to see you back ! Just heading out in my Cygnus 19 , weather been terrible here in Cornwall.
Hi David.
Thank you very much indeed.
It's good to be back.
Yeah, getting to the time of year, where you have to pick your days.😬😬😬🌬🌊🌊🌊😉👍
Stay safe.😉👍
No the best weather Baz , but we've all been to sea when we need to move gear or just because we need to earn a penny. You've built a fine sea boat man , she coped well. Glad your ok, was starting to get worried !! Stay safe 👍
Hi Jack.
Aye, your right there pal, she's a cracking sea boat, and I reckon she could handle more, if the occasion ever arises, only to steam home in, not go out.😉👍 saftey 1st and all that jazz.😁👌
Thank you so much for the kind message bud, really appreciate it.
All the very best pal.😉👍
Nice to see you back skipper. How many meters is the difference between high and low tide there at your harbor. I like to now. 🙂
Thank you bud.
Really appreciate it.😍😁👌
Its can be up to a 6m range, when the tides are on a spring, so quite a bit of water, In and out.😁👌
Have a great week ahead.
All the very best.😉👍
Good to see you.
Thank you, it's good to be back, let the work, begin.💪😉👍
She skips along a treat Barry, nice and dry too.
Hi buddy.
Hope your doing well?
She certainly does bud....small, but, mighty💪🌬🌊😂😂😂😉👍
Safe fishing pal.
😉👍
@@onemanandhisboat just the weather lately certainly took a turn for the worst here with the S and SW winds, so mild too I wonder if that keeping the wind up
It most probably will be.
Never known it so warm at this time of year...could be a windy winter bud...after all, it's been a cracking summer.😉👍
@@onemanandhisboat true enough there just have get out when it’s possible 🤞🤞🤞🤞
You should get yourself a nice helm seat...
TBH, it would just get in the rd.
There looks a lot of space, with her design and all, but once the gear is aboard...not so much
😂😂😂
Plans to increase the fleet sizes next season, as we shall be working different type of creel.😁👌
Thank you so much for your comments.
All the very best.
Baz
Morning Baz. How are you finding the boat then now that youve had some time to settle into it? Anything that you would maybe change regarding the way your built her etc? Cracking Vid Again
The boat is FANTASTIC! Absolutely love what she can do, and the fact, she wants more.💪😁👌
Actually no, I wouldn't change a thing, the only thing I would say, I wish I had done a better job on, is the hatches...definitely room for improvement there, but the rest of the boat, totally happy with, she's a fantastic little tank.💪💪💪😁👌
I hope things are going well at your side of the water?
Have a great weekend bud.
All the best.😉👍
@@onemanandhisboat Thats cracking to hear that alls going well. She looks cracking and am sure she will keep you happy for years to come.
All good north side of the forth. Boats coming out water for winter so plenty work to be done to keep me busy lol.
All the best 👍👍👍
Just wondering how long do your pots last when you rubber and rope them up like that ?
Hi jack,
You'll get years out of them. Some of those pots are 8 years old....sometimes they are hard on the upkeep, especially the rubber, but the time and effort is well worth it.😁👌
Hope this answers your question.
All the best.
Baz.😉👍
@@onemanandhisboat that’s great thanks baz, we use the same pots but 34” here but we don’t rubber the bottoms up and they do about three seasons and then the welds on the bottom bars go so I’ll probably start rubbering them up 👍🏼
I have the plastic trays on the bottoms as well, saves the bars getting all bashed and scored...makes the creel last 4 times as long.😁👌
Mind you, when I bought all the gear for it, it was relatively cheap, god knows what the prices would be now, for the plastic trays and the rubber 😳😳😳 you know how EVERYTHING has increased in price.😉👍
@@onemanandhisboat well worth spending that extra bit of time and money on by the sounds of it. Oh yes I know what you’re saying😉😂
Shes a fine vessel ,is she a cygnus 19 or a 21 or a different boat
She's a GM 21 bud, nothing but a Cygnus for me. I'm afraid, fantastic sea boats, all of them.😍😁👌
@@onemanandhisboat what do you expect originally built in cornwall before the mould was sold off ,where are they making them now ??buccanear kingfisher treeve 3 other good grp boats built originally and building In cornwall I was watching your video for quite a while and thought wheres your engine box to then realise you got a sealed deck good idea especially with being an open boat ,what engine you got ??let me guess beta ??lovely boat you have there keep up the videos
@@Cornishepilepsywarrior1984 all the best boats all designed by Gary Mitchell...where would the inshore fishery be without that man's fine design 😍😁👌
Yup, Beta 43hp. A little workhorse of an engine.😁👌
@@onemanandhisboat yeah Gary's a nice bloke I have met him when I was young lad working at buccanear boats I don't know if Gary's still with us ,keep up your videos I'm enjoying them
@Cornishepilepsywarrior1984 oh he certainly is, still going strong and still getting a sail out on his Cygnus 19💪😁👌
All the best bud.
Great to see you again Baz,it's hard going on a rolly day and slack fishing and we wonder why do we do it.fish on Baz🦀🦞
Hi Richard.
Your absolutely spot on....however, my whole season has been like this, I'm VERY confused...these creeps worked when I had the Rockhopper. 🤔🤔🤔 makes you wonder.😳😳😳
Thanks for the kind comment bud, really great to be back.
Safe fishing bud.
All the very best.😉👍
