It's not his job to be a midfielder😂 and now he has a call for Brazil thanks Eddie he's Brazilian he only cost 40 million and we think he's f****** brilliant😂😂😂😂😂
Simon clearly did no preparation for this line of questioning as he completely disregarded Eddie's open comments about shadowing and learning from Simione at Athletico Madrid in order to improve his defensive knowledge and that of his backroom staff during their break from coaching. This was well documented in the media and shouldn't have been excluded from this discussion.
Yep talkSPORT it is NOW the Greatest escape youv'e ever seen. Currently Newcastle United are sat 11th on goal difference from 10th on 40 points. (virtually safe in the Premiere league)
Amazingly Newcastle are only three points from safety and have a massive transfer budget for January. Everything depends on the transfer window. Newcastle have also suffered some very strange refereeing decisions.
Been saying this for weeks.Newcastle only needs to find 3 teams worse then them at the moment. Norwich fit the bill and Burnley looked bad what they lost to NUFC. Now take your pick. Watford? Brentford? Southampton? Palace? Leeds? Eddie Howe made them attack more and if you haven't seen a difference to what they did under Bruce, you haven't watched them at all. If they bring in 3 or 4 decent players in January, it should be enough. They need another goalscorer, a defensive midfielder, a right back and at least one decent centre back. Get those and they'll be safe.
I absolutely LOVE rewatching these types of videos criticising Eddie Howe and Newcastle, now look at us, these “professionals” need to hold their hands up and make a video apologising and then they can scurry off with their tails between their legs. On writing this we’re 9th and have conceded a single goal or less in 15 of our last 16 games.
Although its very biased Villas escape in the 19/20 season is easily the most forgotten about due to the fact people just use the excuse we got out of it because of goal line technology. The truth is that game happened 10 games before the season ended and going into Crystal Palace at home Villa had not won a game since January pre lock down and had played 6 games after lock down winless we were 7 points adrift with 4 games to play. We then blew a 1-0 lead away at Everton the next game with El Ghazi missing a open goal from two yards out before conceding and again looked all but down. Until everything changed on the Sunday we never played Bournemouth played at home to Southampton who had nothing to play for and went 1-0 down at half time when the news broke Watford who were well in control of there own fate with a 3 point gap and +5 goal difference on us decided to sack Pearson and Bournemouth ended up scoring a last minute equaliser VAR chalked it off and ended up losing 2-0. On the following day Watford played Man CIty at home and Villa played Arsenal at home afterwards needing a masive goal swing and 3 points to even stand a chance going into the final day. Watford crumbled 4-0 at home and we then went on to beat the fa cup finalists 1-0 to somehow ended up after 3 games out of the relegation zone going into the final day which before Palace we was 7 points behind and +8 goal difference behind Watford easily forgotten because of an incident that happened 6 games prior in the first half.
I think this year might be the one few years in Premier League history where there are so many weak teams in this league. There are easily 8 teams that could easily go down. Newcastle are obviously amongst it but January might just give us the edge to stay up.

Love watching old shows & thinking wow they really didn't have confidence in Newcastle & Howe. Now how wrong they are now.
West Brom 2005, Simon should know this as he was Palace Chairman then and they were the team who were hurt the most as they finished 18th
No one will forget West Brom's and Sunderland
It's not his job to be a midfielder😂 and now he has a call for Brazil thanks Eddie he's Brazilian he only cost 40 million and we think he's f****** brilliant😂😂😂😂😂
biggest escape has to be crystal Palace from simon jordan
Hahahaha
Howe was brought in to build a team and play decent football, and potentially gain promotion next season, not play defensive football..
This aged well 😂
Simon clearly did no preparation for this line of questioning as he completely disregarded Eddie's open comments about shadowing and learning from Simione at Athletico Madrid in order to improve his defensive knowledge and that of his backroom staff during their break from coaching.
“Howe” the tables have turned...... Geordies are coming for the so called big boys . the entertainers are back.
Murphy seems to hate nufc and love Bruce. Seems he is completely wrong again.
Well Simon shows he knows more about football than Danny Murphy. The greatest comeback ever, thank you Simon. 👏👏👏
Sat here in April still laughing my ass off. Mills man....what a chump. Simon, you got it right. Only we have stayed up in style 😂
OMG they haven’t got a clue! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazingly Newcastle are only three points from safety and have a massive transfer budget for January. Everything depends on the transfer window. Newcastle have also suffered some very strange refereeing decisions.
Now they are safe.. good on the Maggies
I’d agree with all of that except we need 2 new CBs not 1.
@@tomjenkins1989 I said "at least one" :D I still think Fernandez and Lascelles can do a job, but neither one should be starting.
Sorry just re read back your comment ‘at least one’
Fully agree. We def need to spend some cash in Jan.
This has aged well 3rd in the league best defence around
This aged well
Joelinton is reborn under Howe. Was the best player on the pitch last night against a very lucky Man Utd!
It’s lovely to look back at these and see how wrong everyone was.
😂 Fun looking back to theses discussions. How far we’ve come and how wrong Danny was.
This didn't age well 😂
I would love Jim to play this back to Danny Murphy shows why he is a pundit not a manager. To be fair Simon wasn’t far off
Ha! This has aged like milk.
with hindsight now,, both Jordan and Danny were wrong
This has aged well Simon and Danny 👀
I think this year might be the one few years in Premier League history where there are so many weak teams in this league. There are easily 8 teams that could easily go down. Newcastle are obviously amongst it but January might just give us the edge to stay up.
Totally agree. I hope the relegation battle goes down to the last day and it’s decided by GD. I hope it’s like 5/6 teams fighting it out for survival
@@RossHolt89 I think Norwich, Watford and then between Southampton/Leeds and Newcastle.
Have a feeling it could be Southampton
@@user-ls1lu7gu4u It won't be Leeds
@@user.--. you only say they cause they beat Burnley last night lol
A video NUFC fans should watch after every season from now and remember where we have come from.
Danny Murphy said Cabbage Heed was the only person who could have saved us from the drop.
And Simon Jordan is usually the one talking out of his a#%ehole
