This video rocks. You edited it and put it together so well. With that said I love this bike. Got it as a 2 year sober gift to self. It rides smooth gets a pretty good range and if ya mess with the settings and tweak them a bit. I got mine on 9 PAL and made the default tire size 28 inches in the advanced settings and throttles up to 28. Actually going downhill had it a whopping 52mph. Almost wiped out towards the end. But alls well that ends well. Recently purchased the Fiido D11 as a commuter bike. I’m thinking it might be time to start a collection of Ebikes. So a month later what do you think of the EB7. Like 3 pros and 3 cons after a months use. Now subbed and you have a blessed day and be well.
It looks great bike. The fold feature is great to transport unfortunately live hilly area so wound be good to test how it does in hills. You really give feel of bike which is appreciated.
Looks like targeting the Lectric 500W market, all the way to 20" x 3" tires and mechanical discs. Doable and usable. I like the dual suspension, fenders, rack, 59.5 lbs and the $849 price tag! Last year I got the G-Force T42 version with 750/1100W, 20"x4", folding hardtail for $899. It's been a hoot!
@@MrCentralDriver thanks for the info. i have a truck and all, but my camry is my daily, and i would probably go ride around after work, and it would be convenient to take my car out instead, especially with the gas prices.
@@MrCentralDriver ahhh that would explain it. I got the 2.0 version it doesn't have a glitchy display but I do prefer to see a percentage as a number instead of just bars
Similar but Fiido is 250w and this is 500w. Fiido says 18mph. I hit 27mph in this. Also smaller tires 20x3.0 vs 20x4.0. All ebikes are very similar but have some differences. Biggest difference is this bike is 899 plus my discount and the fiido starts at 1000 with worse specs and lower top speed. Oh and 36v vs 48v on this small bad boy

I am deeply frustrated after purchasing an EB7 bundle pack from Jasion, which revealed unacceptable discrepancies between the two included bikes. Firstly, one bike was missing the essential specification sticker that denotes its class. More aggravatingly, the bikes' speeds differed significantly; one reached the advertised 28 mph while the other topped out at only 20 mph, despite Jasion’s claims of uniform performance on their website and marketing materials. This blatant inconsistency is not only aggravating but downright deceptive. Upon contacting Jasion to address these issues, their response was not just insufficient, but also dismissive and disrespectful. They initially claimed the maximum speed was 20 mph, contradicting the advertised specifications and the performance of the other bike. They then insultingly offered a $70 front basket as compensation for a grievance concerning a product worth over $700. When I demanded a replacement for the underperforming bike, they refused, citing concerns over resale value, even though the bike had less than 10 miles on it. Reluctantly, I agreed to install a new controller they provided, hoping it would correct the speed issue. This required me to dismantle a brand-new, expensive bike, a task that was ridiculous and highly inconvenient. The effort was in vain; the new controller failed to resolve the problem and introduced new error codes instead. Throughout this ordeal, Jasion’s customer service has been abysmal. They offered only repetitive, unhelpful one-sentence replies and delayed responses, clearly trying to evade providing a real solution. Their lack of accountability and failure to honor their 14-day satisfaction guarantee is a testament to their disregard for customer satisfaction and legal obligations. I have since initiated an A-Z claim through Amazon, which has acknowledged the misleading nature of Jasion's advertising and the severity of my issue. This entire experience has been a financial drain and a significant source of stress and disappointment. If Jasion continues to mislead customers about the performance of their products, as detailed in numerous consumer complaints, they may face a class action lawsuit. The disparity between the advertised and actual capabilities of the EB7 bikes, combined with insufficient and dismissive customer service, highlights a pattern of deceptive practices that could lead to legal consequences. It's crucial for Jasion to rectify these issues promptly by aligning their advertising with the true performance of their products and improving customer support. Failure to make these changes could not only erode consumer trust but also result in significant legal challenges under consumer protection laws. For anyone considering this product, I recommend steering clear of Jasion. Their unethical business practices and poor customer service indicate a company that does not deserve your trust or money. Instead, consider a more reliable brand like Lectric, which values customer satisfaction and maintains integrity in its product claims.
Yeah .. I did not have that experience at all. I had to reach out to Jasion customer service and they replied within 24 hrs. My EB7 ST is perfect. It's pretty much the luck of the draw if you're bike computer is set to the correct speed or not. All of their bikes pretty much have the same hub motor and same capabilities. They will adjust the settings according to the model, and according to the local laws. There's one for the actual speed, and one for tire size, which also affects the speed. But it's easy to look up instructions online to adjust those settings. This bike is possibly the coolest gadget I've ever bought. It's definitely the coolest bike I've ever owned.
Love the format of these older reviews! Seems a bit more thorough especially with the ending and wrap up talking to us.
Glad you enjoy it!

Top quality Vid Dude For 899USD A Very economical purchase! Great Review Jon!!
Even cheaper with the discount 🤗
I would still change to a BMX handlebar, it looks a lot better and the seat change to cloud9

I like the width of this tire. I'm not a huge fan of the 4 in. just riding around the neighborhood. i'll have to check this one out. 🚲✌
Prefect trunk bike. Good Job ☝️🤟👽🚲🎬
"Normally, the controller is here, and normally the key goes in the keyhole. Abnormally, you can find that stuff, uh, under your hat?"
Hey! Could you show how to lock the stem of the bike in place? I have the eb7 st and the thing doesn’t not lock😅
is there a way to turn off and on the battery percentage i have the eb7 st and it doesnt come stock with the percentage there already... :(
I agree this is a good starter bike very lightweight easy to monover around and not a bad price plus no need to change the handlebars 😅😊
Now we add 1500w motor lol jk
@@MrCentralDriver now that would be so good 🤔
rory - is there an ebike video that you have not commented on lol?
would this fit in a back seat of a midsize car like a camry?
I actually think it would no problem it’s small

try pedale assit 5 with-out the throttle you should get to 28 if you keep the trhottle on you keep the 20m/h limiter
That’s the only mode I rode the bike in was mode 5. They state on the website up to 20mph throttle. It limits you
Looks like it came from the same factory as the engwe. Also no way they are getting that bike to 28mph
I’ve hit 27mph on it so far
I noticed that my speedometer is way different than yours it's more like a emerald shape and it shows the bars but not the percentage
Did you get the upgraded model with fenders and bike rack? It has different things than this one
@@MrCentralDriver ahhh that would explain it. I got the 2.0 version it doesn't have a glitchy display but I do prefer to see a percentage as a number instead of just bars
Rebranded fiido????😃

Fiido m1 pro is 500w. Some things have been changed but even the frame is exactly the same. I honestly don't mind but thought I'd point it out😃
Not bad for folding bike and Price. :) Great Review.
Thank you!

Have you change the grips on the bike and if so how
No I did not. I don’t own the bike anymore sorry.
Is it worth paying the extra bucks for an engwe pro over this bike? Which do you think is the better bike?
For the bike rack, fenders. More range. Stronger build. Yes. And 28mph without pedaling is nice
Engwe also has a new bike up on indigogo
I seen a video somewhere to make it 26 mph with just throddle
I’m sure there is a way

Haha in person they look normal
There is version 2 with fenders and cargo rack.. 999$
Yeah they just posted it up after I was done. I talk about it on tomorrows vid
Anybody in the Fresno area that works on eBikes hit me up I need a front motor installed....no eBike snobs
Same build and specs as Lectric XP Vs2.0, rather get that with US customer service response.
Those are nice bikes also. Both good picks.
