    Thanks for the video, I enjoyed this. I still have a 20w valvestate but only the 40w and up had the ECC83. I also had the 30w version of the lead 12 and it was killer. A real little JCM800.

      @@jamescassidy4045 master lead 30 (5010) and master reverb 30 (5203) are models from the same era of the lead12 but with 30 watts power amp.

      Sorry for not replying sooner, but yes you are quite correct. I didn't realise I was wrong until I looked in the 10 watt 'Valvestate' amp and saw no valves at all! Looks like diode clipping, judging by the circuit. I was Impressed by the tones and still own both these amps!

    I have a marshall lead12 reverb from the 80’s
    Sounds great through my Celestion 2 x 12 cab
    But the Master Volume pot does not function correctly and I want to find a footswitch for the amp
