Thanks for the video, I enjoyed this. I still have a 20w valvestate but only the 40w and up had the ECC83. I also had the 30w version of the lead 12 and it was killer. A real little JCM800.
Sorry for not replying sooner, but yes you are quite correct. I didn't realise I was wrong until I looked in the 10 watt 'Valvestate' amp and saw no valves at all! Looks like diode clipping, judging by the circuit. I was Impressed by the tones and still own both these amps!
I have a marshall lead12 reverb from the 80’s Sounds great through my Celestion 2 x 12 cab But the Master Volume pot does not function correctly and I want to find a footswitch for the amp

@@jamescassidy4045 master lead 30 (5010) and master reverb 30 (5203) are models from the same era of the lead12 but with 30 watts power amp.
