It always amazed me on how this company does that marvelous job even when they came here to Indianapolis to implode a Hoosier dome or AKA RCA dome. They are the best
3:55 you can see tons of camera flashes, especially in the right side background right after the start of collapse. if you look close in other clips sometimes you can see the flashes up in nearby buildings
3:26 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 That fireball implosion is brilliant combination. Is that same were used for Hollywood movie of "Demolition Man" of old building warehouse where +30 civilian inside killed short after John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) single-handed, both the cops arrested Spartan because it was setup for Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes). By the way, how soon you can shown the implosion Hollywood set of "Lethal Weapon 3" & "Demolition Man"?
3:10 Very unusual to see flames like that in a controlled demolition. Wonder what was up with that? These guys certainly have demolition down to a fine art.
It was for a hotel grand opening and it was a pirate theme named treasure Island and the same owner bought the hotel and plan for show where they went against the dunes and cannaballs were launch but not really and it was layer replaced by the bellgio
It's interesting how some of these are so gutted there appears to be nothing but a bare shell left, no windows and no other non-structural components, while others, especially some of the demos in Las Vegas look so intact there may still be pieces of furniture inside. I assume the state of the building at demo depends on how fast the owners want the building down and out of the way. I don't do demos, so I'm guessing.
I was underneath the drone in the Tropicana video, I high-tailed it out of there on my ebike but still got some of the dust. My name is Bicycle Bob and I approved this message.
On buildings built today, about 35 years. The majority of the buildings in Las Vegas and Atlantic City NJ, they're 40-50 years old. Peoples taste in the rooms they rent change. All of the newer construction is the bigger, better and more glitzy. They're built as entertainment venues with casinos and high end restaurants inside. All designed to keep you on the property, like Disney Land.
What are the first set of explosions doing, versus the secondary charges that actually bring the structure down. My name is Bicycle Bob and I approved this message and I watched the Dunes blown up from the Tropicana, I just watched that one go down and have the detritus to prove it.
I too would like to know what the first set of explosions do, then there is a 1 or 2 second pause, then the second set begins. Obviously the 2nd set is what brings it down, but what role do the first explosions have? Also, why is there a short pause between the two?
@TheLoizeauxGroupLLC Would you please explain, why is there quite consistently a delay (of typically 8 - 10 sec) between the initiating charges and the actual demolition charges going off? I mean - why a delay? It is so consistent that I am sure it has a specific function. I just wish to know, exactly what?
Watching the daytime takedowns in particular, I have a new theory - the first stage blasts are just to scare the birds off, so they're not hurt by the "real" ones. (Otherwise you *know* you'd see pigeons "riding it down"...)
NEVER GETS OLD
Superbly done Loizeaux Group! 😊
Thank you!
The addition of the drone to your videos really make it spark
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the videos!
I get the feeling you guys don't like hotels. You've leveled so many! 😛 Beautiful work!
Thank you!
What amazes me is these guys go all over the world
Funny how half the list is Demolitions in Las Vegas lol
Plus, almost all the implosions shown happened in the US lol
That's because there's a new hotel/casino build every 5 10 years on the same property waste of building materials and landfill space
@@k-lo6170 Not really. Some are just over 35 years old.
Drone footage adds a whole new dimension to your work - keep it up.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the videos!
How many BILLION dollars did we watch get blown up in 12 minutes?????
Awesome! That one at The Dunes hotel was spectacular! and the pigeon at 6:35 San Diego, “hells bells i’m outa here!”
the Frontier Hotel has to be one of the coolest demolitions I've seen.
It’s kind of sad seeing these great Vegas hotels with a rich history get blown down, but great work on all these demolitions
Are there any hotels left in las vegas?
Trop got recently imploded
0:53 Was this ever finished in the first place?
It always amazed me on how this company does that marvelous job even when they came here to Indianapolis to implode a Hoosier dome or AKA RCA dome. They are the best
Your video archive is incredible!
Thanks for watching!
5:10 never knew Disneyland had an implosion
Anyone ever notice that CDI NEVER shows up in the “Demolitions Gone Wrong” videos??? They’ve perfected the Art!!!

Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
6:08 And this is how I found out the coolest hotel I've ever stayed in was demolished 😢

7:54 The coundown visuality is bad hern
I don't know but half of the demolitions are in Las Vegas. So Beautiful!
Makes you wonder how many children were made in these hotels that are now distant memories.
😂
💀

Stop bragging about yourself the video is not about you 🙄🙄
What's the average life expectancy of a hotel in Las Vegas? Not long, it would seem ...

Around 30-50 years is the average lifespan of a Vegas hotel
what's the building in the thumbnail, i never saw it in this video
That building is the Days Inn in Bridgeport, CT. Imploded in 1999
Great reminder, don’t buy a time share
Cdi try released all your old videos demolishing old structures outside america like compilation or something
hey loizeaux
was the dunes the first building you imploded back in '93?
Yes! Here is the link to the project video

Did someone else do Dunes South Tower?
I’d like to understand the science more

*Nobody* drops them like CDI. Second-best is in a different area code.
Thanks for watching!
Mini boom boom then BAH
"Asbury Park Hotel" looks like it was in the process of being built.

👍👍👍👍👍
Only in the United States, how do you do this in a built-up city?
