Thanks for the update! I've lost about 40 pounds this year and have at least 50 more to go. Being in my 40s, the effects of carrying this weight for years can be seen everywhere. I'd love to do something cosmetic once I hit goal and am thrilled to hear that you got the results you had hoped for in such a noninvasive way!

Thanks for an update video. You look fantastic. So glad you and your family prevailed through all this weather. I live in Houston and my heart breaks for all those being evacuated. My husband and son are part of disaster recovery team so they are working tirelessly. Just found out our sons place is being evacuated😱 he can't come home because he can't get to us either. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

Thanks for sharing, so glad you made a point of clarifying what the procedure is all about. Your weight loss probably occurred because of your determination, healthy eating and a decrease in your caloric intake verses expenditure (which you explained had a lot to do with portion control etc). I was so happy when you stated that as this is the best way to loose and maintain a "goal" weight. NOW as simple as it sounds it also is very hard to loose weight as there are many factors that influences weight loss and this is what makes it a challenge for many individuals but you were successful!! Exercise will help in any weight loss program but also just great for overall health as we all know. So glad you are starting a program and would love it if you could take us along on this endeavor with you. September is my month to begin again also. (didn't mean to go on so much....)
Hey Marnie, thank you for an update - many on YT seem to try it but don't update further down the line. To be fair, if a friend had this done I'd ask her how she felt after several weeks and if she felt it had been worth it, I wouldn't expect her to show me and nor would I ask. Your word should be enough. Full support from me that's for sure. Glad to read you are all good in your town. The Houston floods are so like our old Queensland ones - just horrendous. I've been waiting for you to do this video for a while; I've been considering the procedure for quite some time thanks to a 20lb weight gain -courtesy of Hashimoto's😣. I don't mind the number on the scale, it's the stomach pooch I can't stand.
Thank you for sharing your story; ignore the haters. If you don't want to show pictures of your body, you don't have to. It's your channel, your body, your decision. Period. Walking around in a bathing suit and taking posed pictures are two different things. Thank you for sharing your story❤.

Hi Marnie, without trying to sound unpleasant, I got to say a don't get it, so you tell us you fell confident and that you are able to wear a bikini but you don't show us pictures of the before and after, we don't have to see the whole body picture if you don't want to or if you are uncomfortable about it but images of the particular áreas will be in my opinion a way to support the info you aré giving us, of course you do you and that's you right, I trust you when you said you are please with the results and I am more than happy for you but in this ocasión a little bit disappointed.

The people here can be incredibly cruel, and it just doesn't make sense for me to set myself up for attack. There are plenty of anonymous before and after pictures on the internet to look at if you want to see them. I'm just not comfortable putting myself in such a vulnerable position.

I totally understand when you say this procedure does not cause weight loss. I had a tummy tuck about 14 years ago. I have had three C-sections and from losing weight my tummy skin hung a little bit. I had my surgery weighing in at 119 pounds and after the surgery I weighed the same. It was skin that was removed not fat. Some people just don't understand.

Has any one gotten rid of their chin fat with this procedure? If the skin may look a little awkward after the procedure how did more visible areas heal ?

I understand the fat loss but what happens with the skin? I'm curious about the arms. Once the fat cells are flushed out of the body does the procedure work on the loose skin? You may have explained it so sorry if I am redundant.
+sharon hardy The skin does tighten up a bit-but you'll get the best results with actual workouts too.

So…fast forward a few years and I’ve gained the weight back, which I expected because I have been eating terribly, but oddly my lower stomach area is worse than it has ever been. I don’t have any facts to back this up, but I do wonder if cool sculpting is to blame.

What is the cost of the procedure? I'd like to try it, but I'm concerned about what type of place does this? Is it a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon? Where do you go to get this done? I'm glad it worked for you!
I researched this doctor and his office on realself.com-it gave me all the information that I needed to feel comfortable about the procedure and the doctor. He is a plastic surgeon. The cost varies depending on what part of the body you do, where you live, etc., but for what I did it would have been just under $1000.

Do you know if one is able to workout after the treatment? like the day after and consecutively?
Other question: 1in is about a size, do you notice your clothes fitting looser? 1in may sound small but is a huge thing on body fat :-D
My clothes are definitely looser-and yes, you can workout...maybe not the day after...I'd have to look into that!

They say it can!
Stephanie Gray a great option is the injectable Kybella. It was developed specifically to destroy fat cells in that area.

Ok I'm confused... where does the fat go? It isn't sucked out of your body right? So does it just melt the fat?
It's broken down over time and it leaves the body mostly in your urine.

I had this done in a few areas almost a month ago and it definitely hurt - especially when they pull the paddle off and massage it. I'm waiting for results - from the reviews I just read I'm nervous that I wasted my money. : / We will see. I was also not told to massage anything myself. zero results so far so it may just be that everyone is different but I better see some results or I will be so pissed LOL.

When the machine sucks your skin and fat it is unpleasant and might hurt a little. First time doing cool sculpting I was like uh o.O but the second time I actually fell asleep for almost an hour lol xD And it did work for me, too. I am doing my third time soon because my belly is nowhere near perfect, but getting there :D xx

I completely understand that Marnie. You already share so much with us and I don't understand the need to always show everything. If my girlfriend was telling me about this procedure over lunch, I wouldn't expect her to whip out pictures of the before and after. Quite frankly, I don't think I'd want to see that. I would trust her opinion, just as I trust yours. You are looking so great! I really need to get my eating habits in order.

Marnie you have a rocking body you didn't need any help 😉 but glad you are happy with the results and it helped you be more confident (I guess we all have insecurities no matter our size) 💜
I think you could have at least showed us an AFTER pic considering you're so confident with the results, you don't have to be in a bikini, a cropped photo showing your abdomen could do the procedure some justice rather than you just SAYING it worked. Many reviews on this procedure are negative, and I was happy to find the yours was positive but with no visual result, its basically redundant in my research lol.
Wow stays flat as long as you don't go. Back to bad eating habits that's good to know. I do exercise 3-4 times a week and concentrate on my stomach and my gosh after a baby it's hard.

There is no need of Marnie showing her abdomen, she was giving her opinion of the matter and not even being asked or paid to do so. She chose to give an update of a video made back in March because she felt that her UA-cam Audience would like to know. She stated she wasn't going to show pics. There are Plenty of Before and After Pictures all over UA-cam of other Women that have had the procedure that have shown their before and after shots of their successes and the unsuccessful ones. By Paying attention to her video, she was pretty much saying Educate yourself about the procedure, know and research the doc/professional that is going to do the procedure like she did, and she had a positive experience and results also and she would do it again, period... point... blank. Why can't women support each other, instead of worrying about pictures, yeesh
