1:44:00 Summit talking about how you can take an inferior game and make it popular. A year or so later he resurrects sea of thieves (for a period of time). Pretty cool coming across this in hindsight
honestly, thanks for the timestamps, watched some of the vod but not all, they save a lot of time. Even though they might be a bit of a pain in the ass to make, I appreciate it.
Feau It probably helps to draw more people in since it looks nice and clean, I dont think anyone actually watches this without it being on the background playing
i have recently become a fan of Destiny, i dont always agree with what he says, but the way he delivers or vocalizes his arguments fascinates me. I'm jealous that i cant debate an argument or an idea the way he does. With this video, i love hearing how it actually is and how difficult it is to become a full time streamer. We as viewers i feel take it all for granted.
This is one of my favorite videos of all time. Two of my favorite streamers talking for 3 hours. I love you Destiny and I love you editor, the video was perfect!
18:00 Destiny talking about that stuff was one of the many reason why i love his streams I've never ever streamed, but seeing him figure out and talk about how to achive good streaming quality or getting out from DDOS attacks were some of the most interesting streams
I found this so freaking entertaining - I’m literally watching beginning to end. I’m 27, 2 kids, engaged with a full time job and I have been doing so much research on twitch,UA-cam and just game streaming... I bought my webcam today and just figuring out my mic so I can start with good quality but I am SO excited to start streaming! Not for the money, for the fun and the social scene. I totally agree that having work experience gives us an advantage over the younger streamers who start in their teens or early 20’s that have not had/held a job. I also think starting “older” means you have your life a bit more figured out and how to have a bit more balance. You guys both seem really cool, down to earth a just in it for the love of it (the money is a bonus) Hahaha females do NOT have it easy... if you are good looking you get A LOT of hate so that is difficult to deal with... but it is a good lure. You guys should do another one of these for 2018
Very well done with the timestamps. This layout is great when possible - shows multiple perspectives and chat at the same time. This new editor is fantastic.
Very well edited with the two cameras and when they are watching videos and stuff. Also a huge help with timestamps in the description. You did good, editor and youtube responsible sir.
Wow summit saying fa*got so casually is really bizarre now. Such a different internet nowadays, I can’t even type it in this comment without a warning.
I just watched the whole thing from the start to the end and not even in the background... That was a very interesting video for me, a little bit of history and present, also the background of streaming on Twitch... Memes and exposed things from the past.
Everything about this is well edited except that the game sound is so loud/distracting. Not sure you have access to seperate audio tracks, but is there any way you could do some balancing in the future? Thanks.
Seagull is very very good at overwatch, however I don't think that's the only reason he got popular and stayed popular. Slowly overtime a lot of people better than seagull started to gain more awareness and it was clear that seagull was not superstar caliber player. He was successful because he was one of the best among the small pool of competition early on in the game's release. He continued to have success because he is a very interactive and "nice" player, never flames and talks to his viewers (much like summit, but nicer).
3:10:20 I thought both Destiny and Summit were annoying when I first saw clips of them. But as I've seen more of them I can see the enjoyment in their streams respectively. I should probably avoid judging people as much from a single clip when they stream for long hours everyday.
I didnt like you Destiny, but after watching this whole thing I can say that I like you now and respect you. Didn't know of your past etc. Keep doing what ur doing bud
Destiny was saying how he really focuses on quality but I'm wondering why does summit's facecam quality look so much better than destiny's? no hate I am genuinely curious.
I think they forget the pro's and con's with everything. I know a lot of people consider streaming as the dream job, sitting in front of the computer with your hobby, making more money in a month than most people do in years. However, you also tend to see a lot of streamers struggling with mental health, which you also have to take into account. Imagine that you spend most days sitting in front of the computer talking to a chat box, which in most cases insults you in order to get attention. Not only that, you most likely rarely go outside because you don't have to. Socializing is at a bare minimum because you probably sleep while your friends are at work, and you stream when they are home from work. Not only that, but a lot of the early/mid 20's streamers also talks about how they can't wait to turn off stream so they can continue to play off-stream, or play a game that they can't legally stream on twitch. Meaning that not only do they sit 8-10 hours in front of the computer at home during work hours, they also spend time outside of work hours. I think for mental health a streamer has to act as if it was a regular job, not only in terms of hours and dedication (which a lot of them do) but also how they need to approach it. That means try to avoid eating breakfast, dinner and supper while you stream. Spend off hours in the gym, outside and with friends every day! Heck, if you're successful you can even have a own "office" with all the stream related stuff going on, and have a "game room" to jack off or whatever. Just to separate it.
Christian K i know what you mean man, i just finished army and thinking about streaming, but the first thing i think about is that i really don't want to stream home and do it in some kind of an office, you have to seperate it to keep your mental health at check
Seagull has always been god material when it comes to both personality and skill. I don't get why people find it so weird. TF2 gods back in the days did shit the average human wouldn't think was even possible, and then comes a new game that's got reminiscent mechanics of TF2 and a new playerbase that didn't know shit about TF2, and then comes Seagull waving his giant fucking schlong in their faces. Ofc he's gonna blow up and stay consistent. Imagine if Street Fighter was released today, and there was no popular fighting game prior to that, and then fucking Daigo in his prime would appear out of nowhere, that's kind of what happened.
I respect summit but we know a guy that did cheat on the big scene it was KQLE from G2 so there are definitely mfs that will cheat despite being friends with people.
people dont understand the dayz mod when i talk to em, fuck the random shit that happened in that game, crawling for an hr across a field to get a sniper shot, man what a game, then when epoch came out... crazy
Fuck, how did I miss this live.. I never went to sleep, but I guess I forgot to check back in. :/ Anyways, Garyukov with those time stamps tho AngelThump

what's wrong with the sound?
My bad, I had to switch between summit stream sound and destiny stream sound occasionally. I might've forgot to sync a few parts properly (facepalm).
Yea idk if it's sound, I think destiny is playing a game...it sounds really fucking annoying too, can't focus with the little cliiiiiiiiiiiiiicks
